If you do evil, you are acting against God. God is the light that shines in the world, brightening the darkness. Add light to the world, do not add darkness. Do good, don’t do evil.
And we pray:
God, You are The Light, and there is no darkness in You at all. You shine as a beacon on a hill, an example for all others to strive and live for. Thank You for setting such an example for us, for without it we would be blind. I long to join You in Heaven, majestic Lord, and shall live all of my days in accordance with Your commandments. In Your name I pray, Amen.
