Patrick Henry once said about his desire to have America be free from the British: “Give me liberty or give me death!” Mr. Henry, you were given that a long time ago! Christ was killed by us, foolish sinners, so that we would all be free. This freedom from the fear of death changes our entire outlook on life. “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” (2 Timothy 1:7) Live your lives without fear and help convince others to do the same!

I rejoice in the knowledge that You died so that I may live, my Savior – Jesus Christ! You have given me liberty from death, and I live with the full confidence that my faith shall not be diminished. I thank You for instilling this wisdom in me, benevolent Master, Heavenly Father, and I pray that this confidence grows with each passing day. Amen.
