God asks us to do two things with the Earth; populate it and care for it. He Created the Universe, Earth, all of the animals, and us. And now, He invites us, His Image-bearers, to be participants in His creative work as we fill the world and nurture its inhabitants for the glory of our Creator.
And we pray:
Lord, thank You for making me in Your Image and calling me to carry on Your work in the world. Instill in me a creative mind so that I may honor You by caring for Your Creation. Teach me to bring forth the beauty that glorifies You wherever You lead me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
