It is good to honor the elderly. They are full of wisdom, and they have lived through a lot of things. There is much that we can learn from them. More important than that is to fear God. God is worthy of our fear and awe. He is awesome and mighty, and He puts His wisdom in the elderly. God is before “Time’! Wisdom is The Essence of Love, Amen.
Father in Heaven, I pray for those who have gone before me, who have more years on me, and whose face shows wisdom. LORD, give them strength to do Your will until their last breath. Bless them with company and purpose. Let them feel Your Love and goodness. Stir their hearts with excitement to meet You face to face and to do what is pleasing in Your sight. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
