Open Doors and Closed Doors by God ~ Two Sets of Examples
Examples of Open Doors in the Bible

For a wide door for effective work has opened to me… 1 Corinthians 16:9, ESV

When I came to the city of Troas to preach the Good News of Christ, the Lord opened a door of opportunity for me. 2 Corinthians 2:12, NLT

Examples of Closed Doors in the Bible
Next Paul and Silas traveled through the area of Phrygia and Galatia, because The Holy Spirit had prevented them from preaching The Word in the province of Asia at that time. Then coming to the borders of Mysia, they headed north for the province of Bithynia, but again The Spirit of Jesus did not allow them to go there. Acts 16:6-7, NLT

Open Doors and Closed Doors by God ~ Encouraging Thoughts:

There are some doors which lead into ways that are not right for us, even though we may not initially realize it. An open door may look like a blessing at first glance, but God Knows what is on the other side.

And we pray:

Thank You God, for opening the right doors for me, and for closing the wrong doors for me. When You open a door, please help me to recognize the open doors of blessings, opportunities, mercy and grace, and help me to confidently go through with no fear, knowing that You will always make a way! Your Essence sees my going out and coming in. Father, You Know every Word before I say it, Hallelujah. Direct me LORD, I pray in Jesus’ name, Amen.

When You close a door for my own good, please help me not to be fixated on this closed door, but to be committed to fixing my eyes on Jesus, and to be thankful that You are looking out for me! Amen.

Look around; find the favor connections in your life. Don’t be jealous because they have more; don’t be intimidated because they’re further along. Celebrate them, honor them, cheer them on. If you’ll do this, I believe and declare in Jesus’ name, because you’re connected to favor, new doors are going to open, new opportunities, new levels. You’re going to rise higher, accomplish dreams, and reach the fullness of your destiny in Christ, Amen.
