Sometimes, we don’t serve because it seems small and insignificant. But, it’s placed on the way to the big things God has in store. His-Story!
Joseph was in prison for two years after he interpreted the dreams of the chief butler and baker (see Genesis 41:1). He was sold into slavery when he was about seventeen (see Genesis 37:2), and he was thirty years of age when he became vice-regent to the pharaoh (see Genesis 41:46).
God will test us with small things. Don’t talk yourself out of going the extra mile at your house, serving your family, taking care of those children, getting up early, making sure everything is right. Nobody may be saying thank you, it feels like it’s unnoticed, but God sees your sacrifice. That’s what leads to new levels.
