The psalmist expresses his trust that God is a source of safety. He uses various dangers as symbols of the terrors which God’s people do not need to fear. When God has resolved to protect someone, nothing can overcome that safety.
I will say of The Lord, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in Whom I trust. ‘ Surely He will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence. Amen.
A very quick share: blinded, Samson’s eyes gauged out, used primarily entertainment; when The Spirit of God was in him he accomplished so much more than he previously accomplished in his life!
Samson Accomplished More In His Death Than He Did While Alive!
“Then, crying, ‘Let me die with the P’lishtim!’ he pushed with all his might; and the building collapsed on the chiefs and on all the people inside. So he killed more at his death than he had killed during his life.”-Judges 16:30
