The Word, Ask in faith – Recieve by God’s AMAZING Grace, Amen.

Here, Jesus promises, “Seek, and you shall find. ” But Paul says in Romans 3:11 that there is no one who truly seeks after God. How can we reconcile these two ideas? The answer is that the natural man never seeks God, but that those with a new nature (from the new birth) do both seek him and find him. But in another sense, we should rather say “He sought us” than to say “We sought Him. “

And we pray:

O Lord, let us seek You today, look for Your will with each step we take. Let us seek to please You with our thoughts, words, and deeds this very day and always. Let us seek to advance Your Kingdom and Your glory with our lives. Let us seek You from a pure heart, and when we so seek, we believe Your promise that we shall find. Amen.
