Don’t compare your life to other people. They may seem to have it better, they’re further along, but they don’t have the challenges you have. Run your race. All is contained in God’s purpose for your life. Your experiences are not the same as theirs – know this! We all individually have a higher calling with our name emblazoned on the package. Don’t look to the left or to the right. Stay focused on your calling. As long as you’re comparing yourself, you’ll be frustrated because you’ll always find somebody that looks like they have it better than you. I hope this brings “pray ceaselessly” into clearer focus.

Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. ‘ So praying without ceasing is one part of a picture of our lives, showing us living in constant communication with God. Not only that, we are also encouraged to rejoice always and give thanks.
‘Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.’
