It is impossible to please God without faith!
It’s easy to have faith,
when days are warm and sunny
it’s easier to have hope
when clouds are white and puffy.
But, oh when a storm,
we start to see approach
the gales of dread on our peace
begin to invade and encroach.
It’s easy to believe,
when all is calm and bright
it’s easier to have trust
when we’re soaking up His Light.
But, oh when a test,
rears its worrisome head
our fears and our cares
begins in our hearts to spread.
It’s easy to have faith,
when life is smooth and easy
but, oh how we cringe . . .
if it should turn a little breezy!

But as they sailed he fell asleep:
and there came down a storm of
wind on the lake; and they were
filled with water, and were in jeopardy.
And they came to him, and awoke him,
saying, Master, master, we perish.
Then he arose, and rebuked the wind
and the raging of the water: and they
ceased, and there was a calm.
And he said unto them, Where is your faith?
And they being afraid wondered, saying one
to another, What manner of man is this!
for he commandeth even the winds and water,
and they obey him.
