What do we focus on in the account of Paul praying for Eutychus? 🤔

We can start by asking a couple of questions like: where do you fellowship? Have you ever been so exhausted that you fell asleep during the sharing of a message? Is there more than one 🔑 point made in this account? Yes!

As we read/watch; Eutychus fell asleep due to the long nature of the discourse Paul was giving, fell from a window out of the three-story building, and died. Paul then embraced him, insisting that he was not dead, and they carried him back upstairs alive; those gathered then had a meal and a long talk, which lasted until dawn.

Everyone gets too comfortable in church. We are so satisfied with our teacher, tidy classroom, and the beautiful sanctuary; worship time begins to feel routine. Christians are called to minister to people worldwide and continue spreading the Good News until everyone has an opportunity to hear. We are guilty of becoming lazy and drifting off course, so we must call upon The Lord for spiritual renewal. His Spirit will open our eyes and awaken our hearts to new ministries.

This brings to memory, the sharing of Jesus: 5,000 plus: Jesus teaches a crowd of 5,000 men with their families. It is too far to get dinner or go home. The disciples have no food other than five loaves of bread and two fish. Jesus prays for a miracle and somehow one basket of food feeds everyone.

We could go on and on! You are told, because Jesus bore your sin; it has been shared by Jesus “I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in Me will do what I have been doing. They will do even greater things than these, because I am going to The Father. And I will do whatever you ask in My Name, so that The Son may bring glory to The Father. You may ask Me for anything in My Name, and I will do it.”

There is POWER in The Name of Jesus!!!
