In a recent post I shared what triggers me/drives me and on meditating THIS came to me!

They turned the place of worship into essentially a marketplace! Yet, when people sought to kill Jesus, because it was not yet His time, God restrained the people

Luke 4:30 But Jesus walked right through the crowd and went on His way.

I am led to share that there is a ‘time’ for ALL things.

To go one step further: at the last supper: Jesus replied, “The one who has dipped his hand into the bowl with me will betray me. The Son of Man will go just as it is written about Him. But woe to that man who betrays the Son of Man! It would be better for him if he had not been born.”

Right after dinner, Jesus led the disciples to the garden of Gethsemane:

Jesus goes with His disciples to the Garden of Gethsemane, an olive tree plantation. Jesus takes Peter, James and John (His inner circle of disciples) further into the garden with Him. Jesus is deeply distressed about what lays ahead (the arrest, torture and crucifixion for you and I and all Mankind.) He says, “The sorrow in My heart is so great that it almost crushes Me.”

Yet, the disciples were ready to fight to the death: John 18:10 Then Simon Peter, who had a sword, drew it and struck the high priest’s servant, cutting off his right ear. (The servant’s name was Malchus.) Jesus’ final healing before crucifixion was the servants ear! Jesus commanded Peter, “Put your sword away! Shall I not drink the cup the Father has given me?”

The Gospel of Luke (22:49-51) describes Jesus healing the servant of a high priest during the Arrest of Jesus after one of the followers of Jesus had cut his right ear off:

When Jesus’ followers saw what was going to happen, they said, “Lord, should we strike with our swords?” And one of them struck the servant of the high priest, cutting off his right ear. But Jesus answered, “No more of this!” And he touched the man’s ear and healed him.

Jesus knew exactly what He came for and bravely faced every tortuous second.

Wow, this is an incredible share! In God’s Image Man was Created!

But why?

God brought the world into existence and as the capstone of this good work, he created people in his image so that they could share in his overflowing love, grace and goodness through their relationships with the Trinity. God did not need the world or need people because God has no lack.

Humans were created with the intent of abundant living. Fruitfulness and growth, multiplication and expansion, as well as structure and organization, are all part of God’s plan.

God’s ultimate plan is to sum up all things in Christ, to bring everything together in Heaven and on Earth under the headship, Lordship, or Authority of The Lord Jesus Christ.
