Share a story about the furthest you’ve ever traveled from home.

Home is where the heart is. The reason for this title is because of what Jesus said in Matthew 6:19-21, “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth…but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven…for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”
“Home Is Where The Heart Is” means that home is a place where we feel the deepest affection no matter where we are. At times even in the existence of our physical homes, we feel so lost. The Bible says that Jesus is our shelter, our rock, and refuge, our dwelling place.
Should we wake this share up by asking: “distance wise?” Also, two distinct homes exist: Earthly and Heavenly.
See! They are two different realities. Home is where the family is! And home is where your heart is.
Jesus shared: “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in Me. My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you?” John 14:1-2

Your heart is a bit like a house. It has walls, rooms, doors, plumbing and an electrical system. All the parts of your heart work together to keep blood flowing and send nutrients to your other organs. Conditions that affect your heart are some of the most common types of conditions.
Being far from Home is stepping away from God.

I dedicate everything in and around this house to the Lord Jesus and claim that it is under his rule, protection, and blessing – every room, all the appliances, the structure and infrastructure, the water and the electricity. Come, Holy Spirit. Amen.
