The children of God do not have an immunity from suffering, problems, or pain (1 Peter 4:12). Sometimes we get hurt by those that we do not consider an enemy. Sometimes, the deepest wounds come from those who are closest to us: in your inner circle, your own family (Psalms 71: 10-13).
There are some things that cannot be learned by lectures. They come through the school of hard knocks, skinned knees, and falling down. Greater trials to come to breakthrough sin and rebellion.
James 1:2-3 “Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.”
Trials come to develop the godly character that God desires us to have. 1 Peter 5:10 “And The God of all grace, Who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will Himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.”
Suffering and strength are two sides of the same coin. God can’t greatly use someone until God ‘re-tools’/re-molds/greatly crushes them.
- The truth is that it rains on the just and the unjust
- Trials come to the good and the bad
- Difficultly and discouragement comes to righteous and the unrighteousness
But when you know who you are in Christ, you can truly look at what the little passage says all through the Scriptures, “AND IT CAME TO PASS”
Never, Never, Never, Ever give up on God, because God will never give up on you! Stand in God’s strength, glory, anointing, and His honor.
