We must be extremely careful regarding the people we call friends. When we mingle with the wrong crowd, we become desensitized to sin and venture away from the path of righteousness. Instead, we are encouraged to find Christian friends we can share our walk with. Spiritual friends will faithfully Love and comfort us. Most importantly, they will Lovingly discipline us when we are tempted by sin.
And we pray:
Dear Lord, We call upon Your Spirit to guide us as we search for Christian friends who will faithfully comfort us and Lovingly discipline us when the need arises. In Jesus’ Name we pray, Amen.
