Earlier this year, I did some deep studies on the topics of Humility and Pride for my Sunday School lessons. So I wanted to show both inside of one image, and how they are at odds with each other. As Christians we have been called to put on humility and carry the cross of Christ, yet it is our pride that keeps us from moving forward.
“All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because, “God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble.” ~ 1 Peter 5:5
