To God be The glory, Amen

Our Love for God is a response to the Love He has always had for us. God did not expect us to Love Him first; we were incapable of doing so because of our sinful nature. So God took that extra step – He went the extra mile – and poured His Love out on all of us.

And we pray:

Dear God, I will always be in awe when I think of how great your Love for me, and everyone in this world, is. We weren’t anywhere close to righteous when You sent Your Son – Jesus Christ, to die for us; but that did not stop You. Lord, I will always set my heart on Loving You, ever grateful that You Loved me first. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Jesus shows up in our lives in unlikely places! Jesus showed up as they meandered down a dusty forgotten road. Probably venting, grieving, and processing the insane events that occurred over the past several days. They were unsure what all this meant and what to do next without their Leader and Teacher to guide them. In this mundane moment God showed up! He just wanted to be with His friends again, so He walked and talked with them, until He finally revealed to them Who He was. Sometimes Jesus shows up in our lives in the most simple of ways.

Hint:

Heavenly Father, I thank You for sending to me Your Holy Spirit who comforts me and guides me into all truths.

It is The Holy Spirit Who reminds me of Your Word, Your commands and Your goodness and He empowers me to walk in Love and in obedience. Thank You for sealing me with Your Spirit as an assurance that I am Your child and that You will never leave me nor forsake me. It is Your Holy Spirit Who fills me with The Father’s Love that I may grow in wisdom and in knowledge of God’s Love as well as to become Love and be a blessing to the world. Thank You Father for You have secured me in Your Love, guidance, and protection through The Holy Spirit. I am thankful and blessed that Your Spirit dwells inside me and my utmost desire is to always be in fellowship with You and experience Your wonderful Presence God, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
