Hallelujah!

Hundreds of years before Jesus was born, He was prophesied about. That He would restore and bring life not break and ruin. That he would bring forth judgment on the Earth, and people everywhere across the oceans would listen to what He had to say. Now thousands of years later, people all over the Earth still listen to what Jesus has to say. Jesus is glorified through all history. People on every continent and in every country listen for His voice and read His Word.

And we pray:

Father God, You sent Your Son to the world to save us. He was with You in the beginning. People everywhere listen to His words. Jesus is amazing and true. Thank You for Your goodness, and that You build up and care for the weak. Help Your Church that is scattered all over the Earth. Unite us, Your Bride. Help us to glorify You and to proclaim Your gospel to the nations. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

What would Jesus do?

Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus. Wow, easier said than done! Our minds and hearts should be like Jesus; quite a tall order for lowly servants! However, how else should we think of ourselves? Who else should we compare ourselves to? The teachings of Christ and the Bible were written for this explicit purpose. Don’t do this would be a foolish mistake that would potentially cost us. Be humble like Christ, trust in the Word of God.

And we pray:

I Love to sing Your praises, merciful and benevolent God, Creator of both Heaven and Earth. I am a lowly servant, and I am honored to even be given the chance to serve You at all, O Lord. There is nothing that I want to do more than to serve You, to spread Your Word, and to Love You. You are my Strength and Redeemer, made whole by Your Son, Jesus Christ. In His holy name I pray, Amen.

Who’s in charge?

The Book of Proverbs makes for an interesting read. There is great advice in these words and quite a bit to think about. The first verse we have here is pretty familiar. “The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom.” It is good to remember that God is God and we are not! So often we think that we are in control of our lives, the masters of our fate! We forget that God is in charge. When we think of ourselves as in charge, that’s when things go wrong. We put ourselves first, we make poor decisions and suffer the consequences. When we put God first and follow His way, we are at peace. That doesn’t mean that we don’t run into problems, but God is there to direct us. We only need to ask for direction. It’s amazing that a peaceful heart usually means a decrease in stress and anxiety. This leads to a healthier you and goes along with the statements that our days will be multiplied. And even if we don’t live as long as we might like, it will be a happier, more joyous life. The problem is, we tend to like control. I do understand. I am a very bad passenger, I prefer to drive. I have been in too many situations where I felt unsafe. It takes time for me to trust. But I have found that when I gave up trying to control my life, things went a lot smoother. I pray daily for God’s guidance. I can’t control what my children do, no matter how much I might like to, but I can pray that God will help to guide them. It is my responsibility to give them good examples and to help them realize that following Jesus will bring them joy and not sorrow. Handing everything over to God isn’t always easy, but, as the proverb says, it is the beginning of wisdom, and it also is the beginning of freedom. If God’s in charge, I don’t have to be!

After we ‘go to sleep’…

What do I share here? I took a ‘nap’ and experienced amazing things. The reference to ‘fallen asleep’ in The Bible is not to the soul/spirit but to the body, for the dead body rests in the tomb as on a bed until God raises the person up.” Our loved ones who have fallen asleep in Christ have a richer, fuller, closer experience of Christ than any of us can enjoy on this Earth.

Eutychus /ˈjuːtɪkəs/ (Greek: Εὔτυχος) was a young man (or a youth) of Troas tended to by St. Paul. Eutychus fell asleep due to the long nature of the discourse Paul was giving, fell from a window out of the three-story building, and died. Yet, Eutychus was awoken from his ‘Sleep.’

Our spirit differs from our soul because our spirit is always pointed toward and exists exclusively for God, whereas our soul can be self-centered. The joy, comfort and peace of God’s presence can only be experienced through our spirit.

God brought the world into existence and as the capstone of this good work, God Created people in His Image so that they could share in His overflowing Love, grace and goodness through their relationships with The Trinity. God did not need the world or need people because God has NO lack.

Where I was in the coma (my nap) had NO “Time”, no sunrise/sunset… thought it was minutes till I woke up.

In sharing, I am doing what I spoke to my Reason that I would do when I awoke. Just wanted you to know that You are Loved by your Creator.

The Greek term Agape is applied both to the L/love that huMan beings have for God and to the Love that God has for Man.

God’s Love justifies our lives and fills us with hope for the future. “God so Loved the world that He gave His only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but will have eternal life.” The Good News: Even death has no dominion over those who L/love and are Loved by The Lord.

And we pray:

Father Lord, I know You have conquered hell and death – You have The Power over them now and You have open the way to eternal joy with You. Lord, I desire to live with You forever, I want to be where You are – I pray that You help me to achieve this and give me the grace to serve You to the end. I know that Jesus is The Key to eternal life. Amen.

Knowing The Word… River of life, Amen.

A brief minute of reflection; an existence of reward.

We are covered, Amen.

Thou art my hiding place; Thou shalt preserve me from trouble; Thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah. Psalm 32:7

Beloved, I pray with you:

May God be our hiding place. May He preserve you from trouble. May He surround you with songs of deliverance in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Just stating The Way, it is…

So, Man heard many a tall tale before Christ. Those 3 days; Man-passed had relief from bondage. Our ancestors, who shall we see in The Kingdom?

It is sad for me to think about the billions of people that are never taught about Christ. Even worse are the billions of people that are refusing His love. What do you have to lose by believing? Nothing at all. More importantly, what do you stand to lose by not believing? Think about that.

And we pray:

Jesus Christ, Son of God, every day I thank Your Father that I have a relationship with You. I do not deserve it, I did not ask for it, but You came for me because You know what I need. I need You now and all-ways, Amen. Precious Lord Jesus, my friends and family need You too. Give me the wisdom to speak to them humbly and help convince them of the power of Your Love, and the patience to know when or when not to speak. In accordance with Your commandments, I humbly ask this in prayer, Amen.

And we define Love…

The life we live, as Christians, is not just about focusing on what we have received. It is also about what we give. We are not to selfishly sit on this free gift we have received and only be concerned about our selfish interests. We are commanded to exercise the love we have received, by being loving towards others as well. God expects us to reenact the love he expressed towards us, to the people we come across in our daily lives.

And we pray:

Dear God, I desire to express The Love you have given me to my fellow brothers and sisters in the Lord. Father, help me to be attentive to their needs and their struggles so I can be a helping hand, ready to assist wherever I can. May I never be influenced or carried away by my selfish desires, Father. This I pray, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
