God? Function? Hmm! Gotta think!

God works in different ways, but it is the same God who does the work in all of us.

– 1 Corinthians 12:6

And we read further:

There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work.

Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good. To one there is given through the Spirit a message of wisdom, to another a message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit, to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues,a and to still another the interpretation of tongues. All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and he distributes them to each one, just as he determines.

Unity and Diversity in the Body

Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ. For we were all baptized byc one Spirit so as to form one body—whether Jews or Gentiles, slave or free—and we were all given the one Spirit to drink. Even so the body is not made up of one part but of many.

At times it must grieve The LORD when we stand in judgement of others! Well not ‘judgement’ but ‘welled up emotional expressions.’ Ephesians 4:26 says “26 Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath.” And we might have heard “Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?” Matthew 7:1-3

Wow! This is fast becoming a learning treat, Praise GOD!!!

Many are called, few are chosen! Do you want to be among “The chosen?”

In some ways, I can say “Yup! That’s easy.” Is it? We are all one body. Each with their calling and drive. To each is given their strengths. Eyes, thank you for seeing. Hands can do their work because of you! Hands, thanks for working all, carving hammering, cooking, sewing, wiping tears, hugging…with the help of arms! Feet thank you for carrying me where I need to go, for giving me laughter when tickled, the strength in you is brought on by the muscles that are protected by the skin! The nose that breathe, the lung that filter, the heart that beats! Center of it all with the brain that thinks, we touch on thanks to emotions. Our rejoicing in The LORD, our crying before HIM!!! Alleluia!!! The veins and Areteries carry the much precious blood to all organs, extremities… Thank you bladder, for getting rid of what the body has no need of.  Thank you innards for processing, absorbing – another center of our being!

We can look at it and see, knowing that each part has its unique function – Hallelujah! When we look unto Heaven, so be it. Ministering angels, Praising angels, Guiding angels, Messenger angels…it goes on. My little challenge today is as you are reading, listening to, or even being shared with – ask, how many different types of angels there are.

As I said, this is fast becoming a learning share, even for me. To round it off, I will point out that we each have our part to play! Prayer warriors, lift us up before our Father in Heaven. We shall all bow before HIS excellence! At the name of JESUS every knee shall bow and every tongue confess Hallelujah JESUS Christ is LORD!!! In realization cometh blessing. In receiving HIM into your heart, The Spirit rejoices!!! Our “Tongue” speakers, your focus is on The LORD our All.

Each part has a role… As we are led in our directions, remember to fellowship. One with another to build the body up! Amen!!!

In fact, the “presence” of angels in their GLORY given states is the glow. “While shepherds watched their flocks by night, the Angel of The LORD came down, and GLORY shone around!” As humans, we DO NOTworship angels, they in Heavenly places are creations of our Father. Just as we are, on that end, when we see them with GOD’s GLORY shining in and on them. We are smitten!

In reading the word; Abraham observed two men from a distance, before … They must have seemed “Royal”, in Genesis 18:1-6, it says “The Lord appeared to Abraham near the great trees of Mamre while he was sitting at the entrance to his tent in the heat of the day. Abraham looked up and saw three men standing nearby. When he saw them, he hurried from the entrance of his tent to meet them and bowed low to the ground.

He said, “If I have found favor in your eyes, my lord,a do not pass your servant by. Let a little water be brought, and then you may all wash your feet and rest under this tree. Let me get you something to eat, so you can be refreshed and then go on your way—now that you have come to your servant.”

“Very well,” they answered, “do as you say.”

So Abraham hurried into the tent to Sarah. “Quick,” he said, “get three seahsb of the finest flour and knead it and bake some bread.”

These were “beings” sent by God. It does not say if they were royalty, but Abrahm bowed before them. Again giving respect where respect is due.

In reviewing my words, it was stressed that I ensure that it is “stated” that man does not worship angels. I agree! Jesus, a humble human in the flesh knew who Satan was in all his glory. Satan on the other hand stated that he would give Jesus a seat on high on the earth. There are so many lessons from this.

1. Satan is The father of all lies. What he said, IF Jesus had fallen for it, he may never deliver what he ‘said’ he would deliver.

2. It shows who at this time is in possession of the wealth of the world.

3. There was an ‘audience’, unseen to the human eye. But, meditate on this; would the ‘ruler’ of this earth, be in a situation where he was alone? Though Jesus did not share it; so much happened in His period of fasting. Much as we have a Spiritual audience now. How much more The Son of GOD All Mighty who shed his title and stepped down from His position and status on High, to become human. Not a ruler, but the step son of a carpenter! “For I have come down from heaven not to do my will but to do the will of him who sent me.” Genesis 6:38

“Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery  to be equal with God.” The Son of God sought nothing higher of greater; because He was already in the form of God; because He was equal with Him, for He was God. Because He announced Himself to be “equal with His Father are one,” thus making Himself God, the Jews tried to kill Him– John 5:18 and 10:30-33. Therefore when He came to the earth, He was not grasping after something; for He already possessed everything. Literally,  “He esteemed not equality with God a thing to be seized with a hook;” but He

1.  “Made Himself of no reputation.”  This is the first solemn step downward. That is, He  “emptied Himself.”  All things were created by Him and for Him; by the emptied Himself of His strength, saying, “The Son can do nothing of Himself” — John 5:19.  “He was crucified thru weakness” — 2 Cor. 13:4. He emptied Himself of His wealth, saying,  “The Son of Man hath not where to lay His head” — Matt. 8:20. Throughout the gospels of Matthew, Mark and Luke, Jesus is called “the Son of Man” almost invariably, because He “made Himself of no reputation” as to His Deity. This emptying is expressed in Paul’s words. “Tho He was rich, Yet for your sakes He became poor, that thru His poverty, Ye might become rich” — 2 Cor. 8:9. He was rich in power and honor and place and ownership and holiness, but He voluntarily emptied Himself of it all for the sake of mankind.

Therefore He

2. “took upon Him the form of a servant.” This is simply unthinkable. How could the high and holy Son of God, in debt to no one, not even to His Father, and needing nothing — how could He take a slave’s place and form? What an exchange! The holy Son of the most high God volunteered to exchange  “the form of God” for the “form of a servant.” Reader, do you grasp it? The Sovereign of the universe stepped from the loftiest place of absolute authority and power down to the low, menial place of slave.

3.  “And was made in the likeness of men.”  If our Lord had taken on the form of a servant simply as the Son of God, His condescension would not have seemed so wonderful. If He had remained in heaven and served His Father and the Holy Spirit only, we might not marvel; but He became man. He took upon Him human flesh. He who fills immensity, assumed the limitations of a human body. It is simply an incomprehensible wonder. An elephant  could never condense himself so as to occupy a thimble; but the eternal Son of God could clothe Himself with a man’s body.

It goes on. Let is stop here, be blessed.
