Contrary to human belief, nothing is hidden from the eyes of God! He knows everything!

The Psalmist David describes God in Psalm 139 as being “omniscience (knowing everything), omnipresence (everywhere at the same time), and omnipotent (having unlimited power).

Well, I guess your question now become, “where is God?” This is the number one question that is being asked around the world by many Christians. Well, according to scripture He sits enthrone in Heaven as King of kings and Lord of lords. The God who knows and sees all things because His eyes roams the Earth. The all powerful, all knowing, Sovereign, creator – God, Who is still in full control of ALL the world affairs.

I can only assume that your second question is why is God not doing anything about the world situation? He is, we just can’t comprehend it! Some things in life have to be seen beyond ‘natural’ sight. Spiritual sight is the ability to see that which is unseen. All of us have gifts, skills and talents. This is partly what draws people together, that they like how another does something.

  • 1 Corinthians 2:10-15 But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For The Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. For what Man knows the things of a Man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except The Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but The Spirit Who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God. These things we also speak, not in words which Man’s wisdom teaches but which The Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural man does not receive the things of The Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. But he who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is rightly judged by no one.
  • Hebrews 11:13
These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off were assured of them, embraced them and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.

  • 1 Corinthians 2:7-8
But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the ages for our glory, which none of the rulers of this age knew; for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

  • Job 42:5
“I have heard of You by the hearing of the ear,
But now my eye sees You.

  • Proverbs 29:18
    Where there is no revelation, the people cast off restraint;
But happy is he who keeps the law.

  • Luke 24:13-15
Now behold, two of them were traveling that same day to a village called Emmaus, which was seven miles from Jerusalem. And they talked together of all these things which had happened. So it was, while they conversed and reasoned, that Jesus Himself drew near and went with them.

  • Luke 24:17-19
And He said to them, “What kind of conversation is this that you have with one another as you walk and are sad?” Then the one whose name was Cleopas answered and said to Him, “Are You the only stranger in Jerusalem, and have You not known the things which happened there in these days?” And He said to them, “What things?” So they said to Him, “The things concerning Jesus of Nazareth, who was a Prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people,

  • Luke 24:26-27
Ought not the Christ to have suffered these things and to enter into His glory?” And beginning at Moses and all the Prophets, He expounded to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning Himself.

  • John 1:12-14
But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

  • John 6:29
Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent.”

The Bible declares that some things can only be discerned by The Spirit of God. “But the natural man receives not the things of The Spirit of God, for they are foolishness unto him; neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned” (1 Cor. 2:14, NIV).

God does not think like Man, neither are His ways like Man. “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways,” declares The Lord. “As the Heavens are higher than the Earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts” Isaiah 55:8-9
