“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.”
In this verse, God is telling the Jewish people – the first nation of God, now we are fellow kindred of The AMAZING grace of God, that He will be with you in the most troubling times (such as what we are experiencing today), supporting them through times of pain/loss/tragedy/sorrow, giving us the strength to move beyond them and delivering us out of danger without harm.
The Jewish people were in captivity in Babylon. They faced many afflictions and were persecuted by men, represented by the waters, rivers, and fire. Some of the Jewish people had rejected God and provoked His wrath. Have we done the same? For these people, the metaphor represents the temptations of Satan that rapidly came over them and overwhelmed them into a disastrous state of separation from God.
Let us stay bonded with Christ. Our eyes on The Throne from which ALL goodness flows, Amen.
Right quick:
Dear God, I am grateful for Your Love and the assurance You give me that You will always be with me. I cannot make it through this world/these times without You, LORD. You give me the strength I need to bear the trials, and have blessed me with the will to keep going on. May I never try to stray from your covering, Lord. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
Be blessed as you go out, covered in God’s Love and when you return with testimonies of His grace and mercy we pay in agreement in The Mighty name of Jesus, Amen
Amen. God bless you! ☺
Great work. God bless you.
