We will experience dark times in this life. Sadness and fear come in abundance in this life. Tragedy is going to come into our lives’ it’s going to disrupt us in many ways. We may experience the death of a loved one. We may experience financial ruin, or just depression it that tends to overwhelm us. These things are just temporary; they don’t last forever. Anger doesn’t last forever. Sorrow doesn’t last forever. But what we see in this passage is that the suffering will be temporary. In this passage, we are promised that joy will surely come in the morning. We may be sad today, but tomorrow joy come! We can find tremendous hope and comfort in this verse. We can take heart that the pain we endure here is temporary, for God is faithful to see us through.
And we pray:
Father, Thank You for giving me joy in the morning. You give me hope that, no matter what I am going through, it is temporary. Though I may weep today, You will surely see me through. Ame
