Fear of the Lord! Hmm! Are we ‘scared’ of Him? Or knowing of His magnificent deity and ordinance, we are floored wit respect. Let quaking in on the ground we stand on. Amazing that a prophet He was most visible to and with was Moses. I am aware that we have discussed this ad nausea, however His-story sands as marked. I sent out a challenge – is there one who has seen God? Even from behind? It is amazing that in the days of Adam and Eve, He would come to Earth and walk! And be hard approaching. They laid eyes on Him till they could do so no longer.
In fast forwarding to the book of Job 1:6 “Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord…” Once again our language and its inhibitions! God created them, He spoke them into being, just as we have Eemian adopted into the family of Christ, and hence God’s family, those present were His creations. God did not create Jesus, but rather separated Him from Himself to hence “The ONLY begotten Son”, Of Him not “from” Him. Hopefully, that makes a lot of sense.
We are told that in this time off learning, we should work hard, but be pleased with the work and product of our labor. Knowing God is where it’s at. Believe in Him and have all your needs supplied according to God’s riches in Glory!
