Some of us have near-death stories to tell – times when we narrowly and miraculously avoided a terrible fate. And as believers, all of us have a spiritual near-death story! Life is a very miniscule ‘walk’/journey through existence! Do you believe Adam and Eve existed? David? Isaiah? Ezekiel? Where are they now?
To get modernly realistic; where is Abraham Lincoln? Hitler? Richard Nixon? Queen Elizabeth? In various ways, we know/read/learn about these people; where are they now? I should ask you! Where are you headed after cessation of your vital signs? Breathing/Heart rate/Blood pressure???
Who, What, When, Where, and Why are you?
Ephesians 2:10~ “For we are God’s handiwork, Created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
2 Timothy 1:7~ “ But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ.”
Our sin and selfishness ultimately lead to destruction. It is only by the miraculous and unfailing mercy of God that we avoid our fate.
