God says “call to Me….”

Are you/have you been praying? My testimony is beyond description. I give God ALL the glory… But, wait ✋️! Have I been “Calling on the LORD?”

The phrase “call on the Lord in truth” refers to sincere and heartfelt prayer that is also in line with Who God is and what He has revealed in Scripture. It can also be interpreted as a reason to pray, as truth is eternal and falsehood is fleeting.

Here are some other things to consider when calling on the Lord in truth:

Be honest: Come to God as you are, and be honest about yourself.

Be informed by Scripture: Worship should be rooted in the realities of biblical revelation.

Reflect God’s Character: Prayers should reflect God’s Character as revealed in Scripture, His-story, and Jesus Christ.

Take into account God’s will: Prayers should take into account God’s will for us.

Worship in spirit and truth: Worship in spirit means it comes from the heart and is sincere, while worship in truth means it conforms to God’s revelation in Scripture.
