What’s your all-time favorite album? 🙄

Old Church Basement by Maverick City Music and Elevation Church came out recently and is really good.

Twenty One pilots especially when I learned that Tyler Joseph is a Jesus loving Christian and his songs have so much deep metaphors and allusions to to God and he’s also not afraid to just speak his mind and share his raw vulnerable side.

His platform is really trying to help people with mental health issues like depression and anxiety and tries to help them save their lives and I think ultimately his mission is to bring them closer to God in one way or another.

In his song Clear (can only listen to this on SoundCloud) he literally talks about how he’s trying to subliminally get inside his listeners heads to help them think deeper about their existence. He also shares his struggle of not knowing whether he should scream from the Street corner or “cleverly mask Gods Word.”

I would highly recommend you try Disciple (best Christian rock band still putting out music IMO), Manafest (hip-hop/rock/rap/pop), early Falling Up (newer stuff is highly… weird), Pillar (straight-up hard rock), Colony House, Switchfoot, and Starflyer 59 (shoegaze).
