THE GOSPEL TRUTH!

WEATHER… SITUATION… DAYS… MOMENTS… each is unique and purpose filled; to God be the glory!!!
While in our lives, we desire only the GOOD days, both positive and negative do occur!
According to the Bible, particularly Ecclesiastes 7:14, the concept of “good days” and “bad days” is acknowledged, suggesting that God creates both types of days so that people can appreciate the good times and learn from the challenges during difficult periods; essentially, “In the day of prosperity be happy, but in the day of adversity consider – God has made the one as well as the other” is the key message.
Key points about this verse:
- Enjoy good days: When things are going well, be joyful and appreciate the positive moments.
- Reflect on bad days: During difficult times, consider that God is still present and can be used to learn and grow.
- God’s design: The Bible indicates that both good and bad days are part of God’s plan for our lives.
We need to cherish and appreciate The Source of comfort/peace/strength. We should live our lives as needed: divinely ordained. The God of the CLOUDY DAYS is the God of the SUNNY DAYS. We tend to utilize and maximize every SITUATION better when we know the TRUTH about it. O yes!
When we are distressed, we pray to God: “Father, it is for Your comfort and salvation, Hallelujah!!!” If we are comforted, it is for Your comfort we seek and appreciate Father LORD, which produces in us patience and endurance. We are comforted in our sufferings, Amen.
And our hope in You LORD is firm, because we know that just as You share in our sufferings, so also You share in our comfort.”
2 Corinthians 1:6-7 says:
- If we are afflicted: It is for Your encouragement and salvation
- If we are encouraged: It is for Your encouragement, which enables You to endure the same sufferings that we suffer
- Our hope for You: Is firm, for we know that as You share in the sufferings, You also share in the encouragement
In this passage, Paul explains how his suffering and the comfort he received from God have been for the benefit of the Corinthians. Paul had recently experienced great suffering, which brought him and his co-workers to the brink of death.
“Oh, FEAR the LORD, you His saints! There is NO WANT to those who FEAR HIM.”
Ps. 34:9.
When we FEAR God, we acknowledged His LOVE and SOVEREIGNTY, content and determined never to disobey Him no matter what. With this, it’s our HEART’S STATE with God, not the NATURE of any MOMENT or DAY, that determines our attitudes and fulfillment in life.
The truth? Only those who FEAR God can SEE every MOMENT through HIS LENS like PAUL and SILAS in prison, and the SHUNAMMITE WOMAN who said “it’s well” even with the corpse of her only child…
journey through life, just as the Shunammite woman did by going back to Elisha.
Always remember Proverbs 18:21 and the great woman of Shunem described in 2 Kings 4. Turning to God as our help and trusting that He will make all things well, and can sustain us in the hardest of times.
A Prayer Inspired by the Shunammite Woman
Lord, help me to come to you when I encounter challenges. Show me Your faithfulness and unfailing Love as I serve You daily. I trust in You! Amen.
So, maximize every moment to know God deeper!
May every MOMENT in this year 2025 bring you closer to God. 🙏🔥
