Can we truly say this from our hearts?

“However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.”
Acts 20:24

This Bible verse captures the heart of true devotion: living not for personal gain, but for the glory of Christ. When your purpose is anchored in God’s calling, even trials and sacrifices take on eternal meaning. Paul wasn’t focused on comfort or acclaim—his eyes were fixed on finishing the race and faithfully proclaiming grace.

You, too, have a calling. Whether big or small in the world’s eyes, it matters deeply in God’s Kingdom. Don’t lose heart. Keep running your race with endurance, knowing that God’s grace goes with you, empowers you, and will carry you to the finish.
God bless you abundantly.

Very briefly, sharing God’s Word is for me – a testimony of my experience. Don’t worry, I will not repeat it again. What we read/hear/learn – though we tend to holster/ignore/deny it. Fact is FACT!!!

We all came from somewhere, we all are headed somewhere. We were born, we will die. No Man currently is above 250 years old! Time has never changed, and never will till it ceases…

A Biblical example of God through faith, caused the rotation of the Universe to cease.

The statement “‘Time’ has never changed” is complex and requires nuanced interpretation. While the core message and doctrines of the Bible remain constant, the way humans perceive and experience time, as well as the historical context surrounding biblical events, has certainly evolved. Some verses, like Malachi 3:6, emphasize God’s unchanging nature, while others like Joshua 10:13 illustrate how time can be experienced differently depending on the circumstances.

Here’s a more detailed look:

1. God’s Timeless Nature:

  • The Bible portrays God as eternal and outside of time.
  • Verses like 2 Peter 3:8 highlight God’s different perspective on time, where a day is like a thousand years and vice versa.
  • God’s knowledge, being, power, and glory remain constant, regardless of the passage of time.

2. Human Time and Its Changes:

  • Humans experience time linearly, with seasons, events, and historical contexts changing.
  • The Bible acknowledges that humans have a unique experience of time and that it affects their understanding of God’s plans.
  • The passage of time can bring about change in human cultures, societal norms, and even the language used to express biblical truths.

3. The Bible’s Inerrancy and Relevance:

  • Many Christians believe that the Bible is God-inspired and therefore remains true and relevant throughout history.
  • The core messages about God’s character, salvation, and moral principles are considered unchanging.
  • However, cultural and historical interpretations of certain passages may evolve as cultures and understanding change.

4. Examples of Time’s Impact on Biblical Understanding:

  • Contextual understanding:What may have been appropriate or understood in one historical context might require reinterpretation in another.
  • Translation and interpretation:The Bible has been translated and interpreted countless times, and these translations and interpretations are influenced by the time in which they were created.
  • Cultural practices:Practices that might have been common in biblical times, such as slavery or polygamy, are no longer widely accepted in many cultures today.

In conclusion, while the core message of the Bible remains unchanging, the way time impacts human understanding and experience of the Bible is undeniable. The Bible encourages reflection on its meaning in diverse historical and cultural contexts.
