Growing in Christ is considered key to life because it fosters personal transformation, spiritual maturity, and a deeper, more joyful relationship with God. This growth is a continuous process of learning, becoming more like Christ, and living an abundant life through practices like prayer, Bible study, fellowship, and serving others. It brings direction, wisdom, and fulfillment, allowing believers to experience God’s love and live out their purpose.
Why growth in Christ is crucial
- It leads to an abundant life: Jesus came so that believers can have life and have it “abundantly” (John 10:10), and this is found through growing in Christ.
- It brings personal transformation: Growing in Christ is a lifelong process of being renewed and transformed into God’s image.
- It provides a solid foundation: Developing a strong relationship with Christ gives a foundation for navigating life, providing direction and wisdom for making godly decisions.
- It is a mark of a true disciple: A key aspect of being a disciple is a commitment to growth, meaning a Christian who is not growing is not living out their faith fully.
How to grow in Christ
- Pray daily: Spend time in prayer, asking God for guidance and to deepen your relationship with Him.
- Study the Bible: Immerse yourself in scripture to understand God’s word, which is how faith grows.
- Practice obedience: Obey God’s commands and live moment by moment in a way that honors Him.
- Engage in fellowship: Participate in the community of believers, as spiritual growth happens best together in the “Body of Christ”.
- Serve others: Work with Christ to serve and help others, which is a way of both growing spiritually and fulfilling a part of God’s purpose.
- Trust in the Holy Spirit: Rely on the Holy Spirit to guide you and empower you in your daily life.
The Key to Living God’s Amazing Plan for Your Life
THE TRUMPET OF LIFE!

Why all the sad news of various ungodly physical interactions/relationships, financial difficulties/challenges and many other immoralities in the Church (body of Christ) today? When we are truly for God, all our needs are supplied by our Creator Who knows all things!
The phrase “God will supply all your needs” means that God provides for your essential physical and spiritual necessities, according to a person’s understanding and faith. It is a promise that God will meet your needs, but not necessarily every desire or want. The provision is often seen as a source of comfort and hope, especially for those who are struggling, and is associated with faith and trust in a higher power.
Key aspects of the meaning:
- Essential needs, not wants: The promise is about what you need, not what you want or wish for. God, according to this belief, knows your true needs better than you do and will meet them according to His plan.
- Source of provision: The provision comes from God’s resources, as stated in Philippians 4:19: “my God shall supply all your needs according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus”.
- Faith and trust: The phrase is often a declaration of faith and trust in God’s ability and willingness to provide. It is a belief that God is a provider who can be counted on to meet one’s needs.
- Spiritual and physical needs: While it can refer to physical needs like food and shelter, it also encompasses spiritual needs, such as guidance, strength, and peace during difficult times.
Notably, none is done by the little ones in the Church but by the adults, the real maturing ones who were born and raised in truth. The reason is that many believers are growing in the church traditions but not spiritually in the knowledge of Christ.

Growing in the church – physically: punctuality and fervency in all the events but without paying attention to the Word of God to obey it never affected souls to reveal Christ, imparts His life and engrace one to resist sin. Can you relate with this in any way?
God’s heart-cry is to nurture us with blossoming of the seed Christ sowed here on Earth, the result is nurtured in Love: this requires that we balance bible study with obedience and prayer; spiritual deformity has caused many to remain carnal with yokes of their flesh!

Dear reader, make your life’s growth count, cap it with the knowledge and life of Jesus to overcome evil… got it?
It’s well.🙏🔥
