Faith

But those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] shall change and renew their strength and power; they shall lift their wings and mount up [close to God] as eagles [mount up to the sun]; they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint or become tired.

Prayer for Success in Work

Prayer for Success in Work
Lord, You have promised that if we will commit our work to You, You will make it succeed. So today, I dedicate every aspect of that work to You. I need Your wisdom daily to make the right choices, ones that require fairness, integrity, and a servant spirit. From the start of every work day, I want to begin and end with You, knowing that You will guide every step and every decision I make. Throughout the day, remind me that You are in charge, not me. May I do all things with excellence at work as if I am doing them for You, Lord.
I want Your goals to be my goals, and Your purposes, mine. Give me a learning spirit so I can constantly increase the skills You have given me to honor You and bring You glory. I know I am not to neglect those gifts You have placed within me, but that I am to watch myself closely to keep ambition in its right place and temptation at bay.
Keep reminding me that people are more important than work projects, and that You not only want me to succeed, but You desire for me to help make others successful. Whether it’s my employer or a co-worker, help me see them as Your creations, worthy of respect and thoughtfulness. We all matter to You, God. If I am treated unfairly at work, may I still reflect You in every way and keep my eyes on You. I know Your idea of success and mine may differ, and that to You, godly character is more important than completion of my goals. Help me to work hard with patience and persistence, shunning laziness and embracing a thankful spirit for the employment You have given me.
No matter who signs my paycheck, and no matter how high or how low the ladder I’m on right now, I look to You as my ultimate Employer. I know that viewing You as my “Boss,” will not necessarily increase my salary or change my work conditions, but it will change me—and that You pay great benefits. Serving You will put a smile on my face, allow my best work to shine through, and will insure that success belongs to You—Your way and Your time. I pledge to do the best that I can with what You have given me, Lord. May Your plans become the desires of my heart—and may my work always be a success for You.
I pray in Jesus’ name, Amen

The LORD’s prayer

The LORD’s prayer

When we speak with our Father who knows ALL, we pray in faith. For He sees all and knows all! There is nothing hidden from Him, Amen

Before Him, we should/may speak freely. He is ALL!
The angel’s of The LORD encamp around those who Love The LORD.

After this manner therefore pray:

Our Father which art in Heaven, Hallowed be Thy name. Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done here on Earth, as it is in Heaven.
We are to pray, “Thy will be done on earth AS IT IS IN HEAVEN.” (Mathew 6:10) How is God’s will done in heaven? Let me mention four things.
First of all, the angels are in a perpetual state of WAITING UPON GOD for His commands. They don’t run around heaven trying to do ‘something for God’ according to their own ideas. No. They wait for God to speak first – and only then do they act.
God says, “I’m looking for one who will wait and watch For My beckoning hand, My eye – Who will work in My manner the work I give, And the work I give not, pass by. And oh the joy that is brought to Me When one such as this I can find – A man who will do ALL My will, Who is set to study his Master’s mind”
So, when we pray “Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven,” it means, first of all that we want to hear what God has to say to us.
Secondly, when God speaks, the angels obey IMMEDIATELY. They don’t say “Lord, I’ll wait a few days and think about it. I want to find out what my fellow angels think about this.” There’s no such thing in heaven. When God has spoken, that is final. Obedience is immediate.
Our prayer then should be, “Father, help me, that I don’t delay when I hear Your voice. I don’t want to rush ahead of Your time, but once You have spoken I want to obey immediately.”
Then thirdly, when God commands something in heaven, it is done COMPLETELY. Those angels don’t go out and obey God partially. Our prayer therefore should be, “Father, help me to do ALL your will in my life – to obey every commandment completely, whatever the cost.”
And finally, the obedience of the angels is JOYFUL. They are not grudging and complaining in their obedience. No angel compares his task with another’s and says, “Lord, why have You given me a more difficult task than You’ve given that angel” etc.,
We hear such complaints even among believers, “Why should I make all the sacrifices? What about him/her,” etc., But we never hear such words from the angels in heaven. They consider it a privilege to do anything for God and they rejoice at every opportunity to obey Him.
And so when we pray this prayer, we are asking that God’s will may be done in our lives like that – joyfully and without any complaints and without any comparisons with others. https://www.cfcindia.com/wftw/how-gods-will-is-done-in-heaven

Give us this day our daily bread.
We are asking that God will sustain us physically. Here, Jesus was perhaps alluding to God’s provision of manna , Numbers describes it as having the appearance of bdellium, adding that the Israelites ground it and pounded it into cakes, which were then baked, resulting in something that tasted like cakes bakedwith oil. Exodus states that raw manna tasted like wafers that had been made with honey.
Manna was given every day in the desert (Exodus 16:4-12; Deuteronomy 8:3; John 6:31). We recognize God as our provider and rely on Him to meet our daily needs. This does not mean that we expect God to literally rain down manna on us but that we understand He is the one who makes our work fruitful, sometimes even meeting physical needs in miraculous ways.

And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

Our Father in Heaven is our ALL, we pray that we are not led into temptation, for in all He provides a way:
No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted
beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, He will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.
1 Corinthians 10:13

But deliver us from evil:

For Thine is The Kingdom, The Power and the glory, for ever. Amen.

For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your Heavenly Father will also forgive you: But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Heavenly Father forgive your trespasses.
Do we hold in your spirit a grievance?
“Therefore, if you are offering your praise at the altar and there remember that your brother or sister has something against you,
leave your requests and Thanksgiving there in front of the altar. First go and be reconciled to them; then come and offer your gift.
Matthew 5:23,24

Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thine head, and wash thy face. That thou appear not unto men to fast, but unto your Father which is in secret: and thy Father, which seeth in secret, shall reward you openly.

Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon Earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal.

But lay up for yourselves treasures in Heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal; for they have no place before our Creator.

For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light. But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness! No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?
Matthew 6:9-27

Praise ye the LORD. O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever. Who can utter the mighty acts of the LORD? who can shew forth all his praise? Blessed are they that keep judgment, and he that doeth righteousness at all times. Remember me, O LORD, with the favour that thou bearest unto thy people: O visit me with thy salvation; That I may see the good of thy chosen, that I may rejoice in the gladness of thy nation, that I may glory with thine inheritance. We have sinned with our fathers, we have committed iniquity, we have done wickedly. Our fathers understood not thy wonders in Egypt; they remembered not the multitude of thy mercies; but provoked him at the sea, even at the Red sea. Nevertheless he saved them for his name’s sake, that he might make his mighty power to be known. He rebuked the Red sea also, and it was dried up: so he led them through the depths, as through the wilderness. And he saved them from the hand of him that hated them, and redeemed them from the hand of the enemy. And the waters covered their enemies: there was not one of them left. Then believed they his words; they sang his praise. They soon forgat his works; they waited not for his counsel: But lusted exceedingly in the wilderness, and tempted God in the desert. And he gave them their request; but sent leanness into their soul. They envied Moses also in the camp, and Aaron the saint of the LORD. The earth opened and swallowed up Dathan and covered the company of Abiram. And a fire was kindled in their company; the flame burned up the wicked. They made a calf in Horeb, and worshipped the molten image. Thus they changed their glory into the similitude of an ox that eateth grass. They forgat God their saviour, which had done great things in Egypt; Wondrous works in the land of Ham, and terrible things by the Red sea. Therefore he said that he would destroy them, had not Moses his chosen stood before him in the breach, to turn away his wrath, lest he should destroy them. Yea, they despised the pleasant land, they believed not his word: But murmured in their tents, and hearkened not unto the voice of the LORD. Therefore he lifted up his hand against them, to overthrow them in the wilderness: To overthrow their seed also among the nations, and to scatter them in the lands. They joined themselves also unto Baalpeor, and ate the sacrifices of the dead. Thus they provoked him to anger with their inventions: and the plague brake in upon them. Then stood up Phinehas, and executed judgment: and so the plague was stayed. And that was counted unto him for righteousness unto all generations for evermore. They angered him also at the waters of strife, so that it went ill with Moses for their sakes: Because they provoked his spirit, so that he spake unadvisedly with his lips. They did not destroy the nations, concerning whom the LORD commanded them: But were mingled among the heathen, and learned their works. And they served their idols: which were a snare unto them. Yea, they sacrificed their sons and their daughters unto devils, And shed innocent blood, even the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed unto the idols of Canaan: and the land was polluted with blood. Thus were they defiled with their own works, and went a whoring with their own inventions. Therefore was the wrath of the LORD kindled against his people, insomuch that he abhorred his own inheritance And he gave them into the hand of the heathen; and they that hated them ruled over them Their enemies also oppressed them, and they were brought into subjection under their hand. Many times did he deliver them; but they provoked him with their counsel, and were brought low for their iniquity. Nevertheless he regarded their affliction, when he heard their cry: And he remembered for them his covenant, and repented according to the multitude of his mercies. He made them also to be pitied of all those that carried them captives. Save us, O LORD our God, and gather us from among the heathen, to give thanks unto thy holy name, and to triumph in thy praise. Blessed be the LORD God of Israel from everlasting to everlasting: and let all the people say, Amen. Praise ye the LORD.
