What is Faith?

There Is No Hiding From God

Because your heart was responsive and you humbled yourself before the Lord when you heard what I have spoken against this place and its people—that they would become a curse and be laid waste—and because you tore your robes and wept in my presence, I also have heard you, declares the Lord. –2 Kings 22:19

Why would we be ‘pressed’ by and with this example?

In our earlier lives, did we Love The LORD? Yes, if were in a ‘home’ of believers, have we or did we ever ‘give’ our lives to Christ? It is awesome to know Him. Have we truly submitted our all to Him?
There are reasons I state this with the example used above. There were children born in households where The LORD was not served or even known! Yet even the children were to be smitten with The Wrath of The LORD. We have to mind our ‘society’, we tend to be ignorant of Sodom and Gommorah – there were children there too! They perished with those sinning against The Lord.

Yes, we may place all the blame on the workers of iniquity. But, we have a part. In the days of Jonah, a whole ‘civilization’ had come to the displeasure of The Lord, we know what happened! In brief, Jonah was sent – he judged (“Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”–
Matthew 7:1,2)

Jonah judged and ran from The Will of God. The SAME that would have befallen the people of Nineveh, befell him! He was swallowed by a whale. Scientifically, let us consider this. No, or scant oxygen, digestive ‘juices’ dismembering his body, much the same as any other ‘meal’ that the whale would consume!

“I want to die!” Jonah said in his heart:

While in the great fish, Jonah prays to God in his affliction and commits to thanksgiving and to paying what he has vowed.

“From inside the fish Jonah prayed to the Lord his God. He said:
“In my distress I called to the Lord, and He answered me.
From deep in the realm of the dead I called for help,
and You listened to my cry. You hurled me into the depths,
into the very heart of the seas,
and the currents swirled about me; all Your waves and breakers swept over me. I said, ‘I have been banished from Your sight; yet I will look again toward Your holy temple.’

The engulfing waters threatened me, the deep surrounded me; seaweed was wrapped around my head. To the roots of the mountains I sank down; the Earth beneath buried me in forever. But you, LORD my God,
brought my life up from the pit.  “When my life was ebbing away, I remembered you, Lord, and my prayer rose to You, to Your holy temple. Those who cling to worthless idols turn away from God’s Love for them.
But I, with shouts of grateful praise, will sacrifice to You.
What I have vowed I will make good. I will say, ‘Salvation comes from the LORD.’ ”

And the LORD commanded the fish, and it vomited Jonah onto dry land.
Jonah 2

We are ALL known, inside out! The LORD could have ‘sent’ someone else, but He sent Jonah. God knew his mind, and all that would occur! We may feel pity for Jonah, but he made his decision and he was met right there. Would the people of Nineveh have reacted ‘positively’ if a well, decently dressed ‘prophet’ was ‘shouting’ in the streets? But, instead, this half-digested individual spoke The Word he was sent to spread; and secondary to his experience they all repented!

We could go on, in brief we can see what our ‘responsibilities’ are! You know The LORD, SHARE! In the house of Eli, He served The LORD, but did not teach his sons to do the same –

Eli honored his sons above God according to verse 29. This passage ought to cause all of us, especially fathers, to shudder. The result of Eli’s faithlessness as a father was that God cut off his house. God judges those who depart from the path.

With God All Things Are Possible

Screen Shot 2018-05-15 at 9.43.57 AM.png

Sometimes we feel as though we are invincible and capable of accomplishing all manner of things. However we are but flesh and bones, aging with each passing second and limited by our humanity. However, with God we can rise above our physicality to accomplish incredible feats and to ‘move mountains’ that impede our paths. When we become saved and ask The Holy Spirit to dwell within us, we obtain, not only the promise of reunification with Our Father in Heaven, but the ability to do all things through the Holy Ghost Power Jesus Christ promised us as our gift for acknowledging Him as 1/3 of the triune God-head. He left us with the ability to heal in His name, to proclaim in His name, to make powerful, seemingly impossible declarations in His name and with faith in Him and The Word, watch them manifest before our very eyes. This is the power by which we do the impossible, recover from medically-deemed impossible illnesses, accidents, and what was told to us were fatal injuries. When you truly trust and believe in Jesus, when you seek a close relationship with Him, when you study His Word and fellowship with other believers to gain greater knowledge and appreciation of Him, when you pray fervently and without ceasing, when you humble yourself, when you serve with humility, when your station in life no longer defines you, when you value your eternal life over your immediate life, when you put others first, when you forgive your enemies and seek God’s forgiveness for your own sins, when you strive to do His Will, when you proclaim The Gospel and shout Hallelujah when a soul is saved from the penalty of sin, when you are faithful over a few things, when you recognize that you are merely a caretaker of the child(ren) God has entrusted to your care, when you seek first the Kingdom of God, when you consult God about every decision you make — even what food enters your mouth, when you pray for others, when you happily and willingly give God His due in your Tithes (10%), Talent and Time, when you treat your body as God’s temple, when you submit to His Will, when you leave all your heartaches, cares and burdens at His feet and don’t look back…then you are giving Him all Honor, Praise and Glory He is due, as well as Control over you and your life. It may seem overwhelming, which is why we call this Christian walk a ‘journey.’ It does not all happen at once, but as you draw closer to Him your Will to do these things increases, you willingly and happily do it without being reminded or told or having to undergo another trial/test or testimony. God takes us from Glory to Glory, these are but a sampling of those levels of Christian maturity He helps us to reach. Jesus Christ died for Y-O-U!!! Not the preacher, not your pastor, not your priest. Don’t spend a misguided Christian journey thinking pleasing your pastor or priest will get you into Heaven. NO!!! Do not let your faith or relationship with God stop at the pulpit from which these humble servants stand, because they too must seek His Face and seek to have a full relationship with Him, not you. They are there to teach us, but only Jesus can reach us!! Let me say that again in case you missed it, your pastor/preacher/teacher/priest/elder/bishop/cardinal/The Pope etc. are SERVANTS and they are there to Teach you, but ONLY Jesus Christ can Reach You and Save You. Please never get this confused. Find a good Bible teaching church. Absorb all the knowledge you can from church, Sunday school, Bible Study, additional classes and most of all PRAY for understanding from the Holy Spirit as you read and study the Bible each day. This is our reasonable service to God. Your life will be blessed accordingly. I know. I have seen. I can bear witness. Be blessed!

Sing His Praises Throughout the Earth

According to Thy name, O God, so is Thy praise in me, unto the ends of the Earth and beyond: Thy right hand is full of righteousness.
Psalm 48:10

LORD, I run in the path of Your commands,
For You have broadened my understanding, Amen

As I set about to do Your will, teach me LORD, the way of Your decrees, which bring me great joy, through them I have peace and plenty. My needs are met according to Your endless Riches in GLORY. You created the Universe with The Word of Your mouth. Yet with Your Hands You created man. We are in The Season of Your rest. We stepped away from Your decrees, we grovel at Your feet asking for pardon, Your Love, for fullness now and beyond.
Your way LORD, I follow it to the end, Amen.

LORD, give me understanding that I may keep Your law and obey it with all my heart.
My ALL, direct me in the path of Your commands, for in them I find delight.
Turn my heart toward Your statutes and not toward selfish gain.
Turn my eyes away from worthless things and toward The precepts; LORD, preserve my life according to your Word.
Fulfill Your promise to your servant, so that You, in all Your glory, may be feared and revered.

LORD, take away the disgrace I dread for Your laws are good, in them do I stand, in them do I step my feet, point my direction and benefit fullness of heart, spirit and self, Amen

O LORD my God, how I long for Your precepts! Your way!
In Your righteousness preserve my life, Amen

LORD, may Your unfailing Love come to me,
LORD, your salvation, according to Your promise, Amen.
Psalm 119

In Faith, believe like a child in “Santa Claus”

Hold up my goings in Thy paths, that my footsteps slip not. I have called upon Thee, for Thou wilt hear me, O God: incline Thine ear unto me, and hear my speech. Shew Thy marvellous lovingkindness, O Thou that savest by Thy right hand them which put their

Hold up my goings in Thy paths, that my footsteps slip not. I have called upon Thee, for Thou wilt hear me, O God: incline Thine ear unto me, and hear my speech. Shew Thy marvellous lovingkindness, O Thou that savest by Thy right hand them which put their trust in Thee from those that rise up against them Keep me as the apple of Thine eye, hide me under the shadow of Thy wings.
Psalm 17:5-8

Amazing how The Word is ONE. As we walk the path The LORD has directed us to walk and guided us therein; there are blessings aplenty – poured out on and around us. In His Love, we slip not! We may stumble but the Angel’s of The LORD bear us up that our heel not strike a stone! We are saved by His righteous right hand, AMEN!
In and with Him, ALL will be AWESOMELY, AMAZINGLY well!

“Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, so that there may be food in My house, and test Me now in this,” says the LORD of hosts, “if I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you a blessing until it overflows.”
Malachi 3:10

God DOES, try Him not, simply have faith and ‘Faith’ it. In this case, seeing is not believing! Faith’ing is believing, for what we have not yet ‘seen’ in the physical is set in The Spiritual.m, Amen
So, try not The LORD, Faith Him.
https://bible.knowing-jesus.com/topics/Testing-God

Do you want to ‘taste’ the goodness of The LORD? Again, I repeat – Faith Him.
Faith in Action
“Now Faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.” Hebrews 11:1
So much has been attained by Faith:

This is RICH in provision, Amen.

It is over, Amen

Good Morning, Happy blessed Sunday of “THE LORD’S REPORT “-Isaiah 53:1
“And it came to pass after a while, that the brook dried up, because there had been no rain in the land.
And the word of the LORD came unto him, saying, Arise, get thee to Zarephath, which belongeth to Zidon,
and dwell there: behold, I have commanded a widow woman there to sustain thee.”
1 Kings 17:7-9

There are always times issues must arise, But God always provides a way out, most auspiciously.
Yours is to hear and obey!

This day, you will hear a word from heaven, bearing your most needed answers!
Everyone with a divine-mandate for your sustenance, will locate you on time!
In Jesus Christ Mighty Name. Amen!!!

In your life, and that of every member of your household, the wonderful works of the Lord God Almighty shall gloriously be seen, and forever be remembered, and mentioned; may He have compassion, and be gracious unto you in every facet of your lives in Jesus Christ, Amen!!! Psalms 111:4.

Beloved, have a divine encounter with HIM as you worship and fellowship at HIS sanctuary with Songs of Victory of Hallelujah in Christ Jesus
Amen!!!
