Test The LORD, Try Him

Test The LORD.
“Bring all the tithes into the storehouse so there will be enough food in my Temple. If you do,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, “I will open the windows of Heaven for you. I will pour out a blessing so great you won’t have enough room to take it in! Try it! Put Me to the test!” Malachi‬ ‭3‬:‭10‬

Amen!!!

Beloved, have a miraculous New Week in Christ Jesus. Amen!!!

This is what The LORD says y’all:

This is what The LORD says y’all:
“Cursed is the one who trusts in man,
who draws strength from mere flesh
and whose heart turns away from the Lord.
That person will be like a bush in the wastelands;
they will not see prosperity when it comes.
They will dwell in the parched places of the desert,
in a salt land where no one lives.
“But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord,
whose confidence is in Him.
They will be like a tree planted by the water
that sends out its roots by the stream.
It does not fear when heat comes;
its leaves are always green.
It has no worries in a year of drought
and never fails to bear fruit.”
Jeremiah 17:5-8
And we are ‘learned’ further:

The heart is deceitful above all things
and beyond cure.
Who can understand it?
“I the Lord search the heart
and examine the mind,
to reward each person according to their conduct,
according to what their deeds deserve.”
Like a partridge that hatches eggs it did not lay
are those who gain riches by unjust means.
When their lives are half gone, their riches will desert them,
and in the end they will prove to be fools.
A glorious throne, exalted from the beginning,
is the place of our sanctuary.
LORD, you are the hope of Israel;
all who forsake You will be put to shame.
Those who turn away from You will be written in the dust
because they have forsaken the LORD,
the spring of living water.
Heal me, LORD, and I will be healed;
save me and I will be saved,
for You are The One I praise.
They keep saying to me,
“Where is the word of the LORD?
Let it now be fulfilled!”
I have not run away from being Your shepherd;
you know I have not desired the day of despair.
What passes my lips is open before You.
Do not be a terror to me;
You are my refuge in the day of disaster.
Let my persecutors be put to shame, Amen
but keep me from shame;
let them be terrified,
but keep me from terror.
Bring on them the day of disaster;
destroy them with double destruction.
Jeremiah 17:9-18

It IS easier for this to read, “According to Jeremiah 17…” many have stated this as promise. Many times we see a quote and are quick to lay claim to that promise. For example Philippians 4:13 says: “I can do all this through The LORD Who gives me strength.

We read further: “For this reason, ever since I heard about your faith in the LORD Jesus and your Love for all God’s people, I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers. I keep asking that the God of our LORD Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know Him better. I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which He has called you, the riches of His glorious inheritance in His holy people, and His incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is the same as the mighty strength.” Ephesians 1:15-19

We read further in Philippians 4:19: “And God will meet all your needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus.” Why? We are quick to quote, lay hands on promises, the spoken word. But why did Paul speak these prayers that have fast become known quotes? Do we do our part? Why do these come with conditions? No promise is without condition. What did the Philippians do?
“Moreover, as you Philippians know, in the early days of your acquaintance with the gospel, when I set out from Macedonia, not one church shared with me in the matter of giving and receiving, except you only;
for even when I was in Thessalonica, you sent me aid more than once when I was in need.
Not that I desire your gifts; what I desire is that more be credited to your account.
I have received full payment and have more than enough. I am amply supplied, now that I have received from Epaphroditus the gifts you sent. They are a fragrant offering, an acceptable sacrifice, pleasing to God.”
Philipians 4:15-18

“Ask and you shall recieve, seek and you shall find, knock and The door shall be opened…” Matthew 7:7, Luke 11:9 Are we to be still/silent? It says what we must do to receive.
Many quote: “Be still before the LORD.” Psalm 37:7
“Be still before the LORD
and wait patiently for Him;
do not fret when people succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes.”
It does not say “Be quiet…”
“In my distress I called to the LORD;
I cried to my God for help.
From His temple He heard my voice;
my cry came before Him, into His ears.”
Psalm 18:6
There are things we must do in order to recieve the promises:
https://bible.knowing-jesus.com/topics/Crying-To-God

There are promises. Are you recieving? Ask and do as we have shared today and in the past!
We can go on and on, but each and every promise in Scripture comes with a condition. Are we meeting them?

In the LORD put I my trust, He is constantly holding my hand, guiding me in Love I have never known from any: how say Ye to my soul, Flee as a bird to Your mountain, hill of grace? For, lo, the wicked bend their bow, they make ready their arrow upon the string, that they may privily shoot at the upright in heart. If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do? The LORD is in His holy temple, the LORD’s throne is in Heaven: His eyes behold, His eyelids try, His essence gives grace and Love to the children of men. The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence His soul hateth. Upon the wicked He shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and an horrible tempest: this shall be the portion of their cup. For the righteous LORD Loveth righteousness; His countenance doth behold the upright. Amen
Psalm 11:1-7

unny, I do not think it is understood being led, touched, guided by His Spirit! It is God! We speak of God being a “Supernatural” force, non natural. Only in this universe are things tangible in the ‘flesh! God’s first family was the family of Isrealites. We learn that His Spirit led them! God led them! Moses used to fellowship with God! He asked to ‘see’ God! Let us move back for one quick second!
Using the words of John as my starting point, we not that it says “No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him” John 1:18. This is a propositional statement which is the clearest of all, so I would look at the texts it is pointed out in Scripture and has said in John 1. We step back once again and take a gander at Genesis chapter 3:8-10
“And they heard the sound of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God among the trees of the garden. Then the LORD God called to Adam and said to him, “Where are you?” So he said, “I heard Your voice in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; and I hid myself.”

[Actually, we are not told that Adam and Eve “saw” God, but only that they “heard the sound of the LORD.
There is ONE God, Yes! He has taken many channels and has been glorified. We have pointed out that ‘It’ has started again. ‘Time’ does NOT exist out of this realm. Activity does! To define activity, it is “doing.” Yes! In the Spiritual, things occur as they do. We are tethered by ‘time’! Once again let us step back to Daniels’ prayer in the book of Daniel chapter 10:2-9: “At that time I, Daniel, mourned for three weeks. I ate no choice food; no meat or wine touched my lips; and I used no lotions at all until the three weeks were over.
On the twenty-fourth day of the first month, as I was standing on the bank of the great river, the Tigris, I looked up and there before me was a man dressed in linen, with a belt of fine gold from Uphaz around his waist. His body was like topaz, his face like lightning, his eyes like flaming torches, his arms and legs like the gleam of burnished bronze, and his voice like the sound of a multitude.
I, Daniel, was the only one who saw the vision; those who were with me did not see it, but such terror overwhelmed them that they fled and hid themselves. So I was left alone, gazing at this great vision; I had no strength left, my face turned deathly pale and I was helpless. Then I heard him speaking, and as I listened to him, I fell into a deep sleep, my face to the ground.”

So many things can be said about this individuals who ‘perceived’ God, many times did it in an alternate state. We can go back and read Revelations. St. John the Theologian is said to have written the Book of Revelations from a vision. We can know that it was through no physical occurrence but was based on Spiritual events: Patmos is “A sterile island about 30 miles in circumference, in the Aegean Sea, South West of Samos and 45 miles West of Miletus; now called Patino, or Patimo, or Patmosa, and reckoned among the Sporades (“two groups of Greek islands in the Aegean . . . which lie off the South West coast of Turkey” ~ Collins Dictionary), with an excellent harbour” (Young’s).

“Patmos” means “my killing” (Dictionary of Scripture Proper Names by J.B. Jackson). It was a sterile island. “Sterile” meaning “1. unable to produce offspring; infertile. 2. free from living . . . 3. (of plants or their parts) not producing or bearing seeds, fruit, spores, stamens, or pistils. 4. lacking inspiration or vitality; fruitless” ~ Collins). How interesting that God would use such a place to bring to John the Revelation of Jesus Christ! (God sure works in an “opposite spirit” to what man does)!
Why do we go through all of these? Again, we are in the physical, to see beyond the physical, we must be taken to a point that ‘belies’ the physical.
We mentioned God working in mysterious ways. There is so much to be said. Moses- a murderer, experienced God in a “burning bush.” The burning bush is an object described by the Book of Exodus as being located on Mount Horeb. … In the biblical narrative, theburning bush is the location at which Moses was appointed by Adonai (God) to lead the Israelites out of Egypt and into Canaan.
Again, God in the ‘Physical’ is represented many ways. Looking back at Jacob, we read that he wrestled all night with ‘a Man.’ “When the man saw that he did not prevail against Jacob, he touched his hip socket, and Jacob’s hip was put out of joint as he wrestled with him. … And he said, “Jacob.” Then he said, “Your name shall no longer be called Jacob, but Israel, for you have striven with God and with men, and have prevailed.”

Again, there are so many stories, so many occurences; read as led. I have discussed ‘comedy’, we at times ‘laugh’ in the Spirit. At present, there are so many comedians, where did they come from? If you seriously consider it, https://m.huffpost.com/us/entry/7548934
We have so many qualities. What makes us different from all else in the world?
“So God created mankind in His own image, in the image of God He created them; male and female He created them.”
Genesis 1:27

For a second, let us see just why: “As for you, be fruitful and increase in number; multiply on the earth and increase upon it.” Genesis 9:7
I am aware that this is to be a focused read/sharing and it is. We started out describing “God”, touching on a few of the many forms He has taken. What we should do to see into the Spiritual. Sometimes it is a chore! But, if you wish to experience- do some things you might not every day.

We have discussed in the past “meetings” in a spiritual sense. “For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”
Matthew 18:20

God IS One. Yes, He is experienced so many ways. We worship HIM in Spirit and in truth. There are so many religions. Each states there is ONE God. There may be different ways of communing with God. There need be no multiple emotions, we ALL serve ONE God, our ways may be different, but there is ONE God. I do not think that any “Manual” for living dictates any to go awry and judge others. What you choose to do is what you choose to do and for the most part are seeds we sew in our own garden. Violence begets violence:
“The Lord tests the righteous, but his soul hates the wicked and the one who loves violence.”Psalm 11:5
“Then Jesus said to him, “Put your sword back into its place. For all who take the sword will perish by the sword. Do you think that I cannot appeal to my Father, and he will at once send me more than twelve legions of angels? But how then should the Scriptures be fulfilled, that it must be so?”Matthew 26:52-54

“Violence shall no more be heard in your land, devastation or destruction within your borders; you shall call your walls Salvation, and your gates Praise.”Isaiah 60:18

“You have heard that it was said, ‘An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.’ But I say to you, Do not resist the one who is evil. But if anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also.” Matthew 5:38-39

“Do not envy a man of violence and do not choose any of his ways.” Proverbs 3:31

“For he is God’s servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword in vain. For he is the servant of God, an avenger who carries out God’s wrath on the wrongdoer.” Romans 13:4

“For we know Him who said, “Vengeance is mine; I will repay.” And again, “The Lord will judge his people.”
Hebrews 10:30

“As for the one who is weak in faith, welcome him, but not to quarrel over opinions.” Romans 14:1

“To speak evil of no one, to avoid quarreling, to be gentle, and to show perfect courtesy toward all people.” Titus 3:2

We can go on, but I just wanted a ‘quick’ share.
