Another Friday. Fly through the day with His grace.

Good Morning,
“And He said, I will make all my goodness pass before thee; and I will proclaim the name of the LORD before thee; and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious;
and will show mercy on whom I will show mercy.”
Exodus 33:19

Mercy and Grace are absolutely the prerogatives of God!

Today: God’s grace will be manifestly and copiously lavished on your life!
You’ll rise, where others have fallen!
You’ll succeed, where others have failed!
You’ll be kept alive, where others have died!
God will be gracious and merciful to you!
In Jesus Precious name. Amen!!!

Matthew 16:19. May the Lord God Almighty in this new year, and years after, release unto you the keys that will open every door to your breakthrough, success, progress, blessing and testimony; and may He also give to you the keys that will shut doors against every appearance of wretchedness, poverty, sickness and shame in your life in Jesus Christ name. Amen!!!

Beloved, have a very pleasant Friday with songs of Victory of Hallelujah in Christ Jesus. Amen!!!

Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for Him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass. Psalm 37:7

Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for Him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass. Psalm 37:7
Need I say More? This is our season of harvest of plenty. Wait on The LORD, patience y’all is a fruit of The Spirit. You have The Spirit don’t You?

Be blessed as you wait on The LORD! Wait until the heavens are rained upon you. Be prayerful in all your ways, Amen

HARD TIMES ARE NOT THE WORST TIMES…IT’S GOD’S TIME! Amen

Hold on! Stop stop stop. Read that again!!!

In Exodus 3:1-9 God says :”I have seen your affliction, your pains, your bad breaks, your disappointment, your loss and in this season  I, The LORD your God will bringing you into a blessed place where you shall never suffer again! Amen
God knows all and sees all. When you were young, IF someone touched the Lego construction, doll-house, or project you had spent time on. You would know!

“For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of Him to whom we must give account” Hebrews 4:1213

AMEN as you Faith it and believe God does!

I had first misread this and thought it said “Hard time is not Worship time!” O! was I wrong.

Worship is our essence! https://www.biblestudytools.com/topical-verses/worship-bible-verses/

Hard times are meant to bring you to where you belong- your knees in prayer. By His grace the answer is WORSHIP time.

We worship God in Spirit and in truth.  know, “For salvation is from the Jews (the first family of God! To them Jesus first appeared, among them He was tortured, hung and died. Yet HE rose from death and we are adopted into THE family! We are co-eheirs, Amen). Jesus said Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and His worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.”John 4:23,24

This share led me to so much more. Jesus- The Son of God saw things that we cannot see. Our lives at many times are secret, if we do not tell them, they do not know! Not so in the Spiritual realn. We started off saying that God knows all. Come with me, back when He realized that Man did all He could to feed his spirit. Things here on Earth ran amok. God wanted to end it all. This was the last and ONLY time this happened.

This was in the days of Noah. Knowing all, God saw that one family kept His covenant. Build an ark He commanded. Rain had not been seen Scripture says tantalizingly little about climate conditions before the Flood. Based on a few indirect verses, early creationists speculated that a vapor canopy covered the earth until the first rain fell during the Flood. In time, this view became dogma for some Christians. Later, when mathematical modeling failed to support the canopy theory, many creationists abandoned the idea of a canopy and no-rain-before-the-Flood. In time, the belief that it rained before the Flood became a new dogma.

After God finished making all the plants and animals during Creation Week, the Bible says, “The Lord God had not caused it to rain on the earth, and there was no man to till the ground; but a mist went up from the earth and watered the whole face of the ground (Genesis 2:5–6).”

Later, God told Noah during the 600th year of his life that He would “cause it to rain on the earth forty days and forty nights” (Genesis 7:4) and would bring “floodwaters on the earth, to destroy from under heaven all flesh in which is the breath of life” (Genesis 6:17). Noah may have faced new weather conditions during and following the Flood that he had never experienced before, but just what was the nature of these changes? It seems clear that he saw a rainbow for the first time. And he was assaulted by severe weather of a magnitude never seen on earth before or since.

We stray away from our starting premise. This is God’s time as you allow Him. Yes, there have been difficulties. Too many to number/name. You are asked to hand over in faith. Hand over completely and be blessed.

Just say the word, and I shall be healed. We might have heard this before. I know I have!

We say this at mass every time I attend mass and even when I don’t I am keenly aware it is said.

“What?” you ask:

“Lord, I am not worthy to receive You, but only say the word and I shall be healed.”

Ring a bell anyone? Let me ask, “Where does that come from?” Or even, “What does it mean?”

Frankly in mass I have wondered or even thought perhaps I was saying it wrong.

Even as a Christian/Catholic I thought it meant at the giving of Communion I was not worthy to receive communion. If Jesus said the Word, all my sins, wrongdoing, faults would be forgiven.

Wrong!

Matthew 8 says Jesus first healed a man of leprosy and told him not to tell anyone but to go straight to the temple and give what was required to God’s endless riches in GLORY and gifting us in all. Amen

So I was reading The Word and there it was. An eye-opener and a Spiritual gift. God knows all! That was the answer to my search? I believe so. Many times we are shocked by the awesomeness of God! Amen.

The story: “When an officer of the Roman guard came to Jesus to ask for healing for his servant, Jesus offered to accompany him to heal the servant. But the officer said, “Lord, I am not worthy to have you come into my home. Just say the word from where you are, and my servant will be healed.”  Matthew 8:8 (To read this in its entirety, read Matthew 8:1-17)

Y’all, The Bible is ONE. Bind us together LORD, bind us together with a chord that cannot be broken, Amen

What God Allows…

We will continue our lesson on what God allows.

In my research and studies, I at first aimed to show Satan falling from Grace. I was led in a different direction. Yes, he is allowed to tempt, but God keeps him on a leash. We see this in Job, Yes! Satan met with GOD and other angels and was asked where he had been:

“One day the angels came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan also came with them. The Lord said to Satan,

“Where have you come from?”

Satan answered the Lord, “From roaming throughout the earth, going back and forth on it.”
Job 1:6,7

Why is Satan allowed to tempt and torment? We see what was done in the time of Adam and Eve. For the most part, Satan had free rein at that point. By the time we are introduced to Job, we see that The LORD used Satan to prove Job’s faithfulness.  So much can be said about Job’s trial, so many times I am reminded in my personal trial of the season of Job.

As I said, Satan is kept on a leash and is allowed to test, tempt and try us all, but he remains on a leash. Even in the midst of our trials God is still blessing us AND holding things back!  Think about that.

Now imagine if you had a bulldog, why would you have one you ask?  To dissuade intruders. In truly ‘unsafe’ neighborhoods, a fierce dog would be necessary to dissuade. Now, what does God do? If He spoke, Satan would be no more. So why then is he still here? To The GLORY of The King, The LORD of hosts!

Why do you think we have the story of Job? Many things may have been added over time, but the lesson remains the same. We go through so much. When we turn 100% to GOD and hand over 100% of our struggles to Him, as He has instructed us, mind you, I did not my say 99.9%, I said 100%.Without God, you are nothing! It takes me a while to explain this. If you were not created, you would not be here. There would be no you.  This is where being of the Medical persuasion kicks in.

Sperm and an egg leads to an Ova, then development, birth, survival. For a second imagine where things could have gone wrong or do go wrong any place during this process. What do we have then? Regrets? Funny thing is I have met many parents with disabled kids. For the most part it makes them stronger, different.

Me for example, I was in a near fatal accident. My parents did everything in their power to bring me back. Even if I were crippled, I would be a crippled extension of them. Affording me life to their discomfort, gave them comfort. I went through so much, my accident, my lack of foresight, their advice, their Love. Still being, an individual I set out on the path that I chose.  However now at this juncture in my life,  I have come to realize that all was not in my hands. God knew before I was created what would happen to me, becoming a surgeon, parent, motor vehicle accident, months in a coma, getting a glimpse of Heaven and coming out of my coma to dedicate my life to serving Him.  All known AND allowed by my Father above.

Our parents always wish, hope and push their children to be more than they have been.  I remember with shyness, how proud my parents were on college graduation, medical school graduation, fellowship completion, my first job and so on. Little did I understand at the time that they were expressing who they are. With untold regret, I miss the so MANY “I Love you’s” that passed.  More so, I am given the opportunity to state fact in this my second go round.

In Part 1 of this extended share, we started out talking about Abraham—father of many nations.  Abraham did not always do God’s perfect will. He was in his 80’s when Ishmael was born, 99 when Isaac was born. After Sarah’s death, he had even more children.  According to the biblical Book of Genesis, Isaac (/ˈaɪzək/; Hebrew: יִצְחָק‬, Modern Yiṣḥáq Tiberian Yiṣḥāq; Arabic: إسحٰق/إسحاق‎, Isḥāq) was the son of Abraham and Sarah and father of Jacob; his name means “he will laugh”, reflecting Sarah’s response when told that she would have a child.  This stems from her age at the time the messengers of God’s plan spoke. We can go through their arrival, but instead, I will point out the fact that a 99 year old land owner would, in His old age, bow himself to the ground at the approach of those sent. With his relationship with God, we can imagine what went through his Spirit.

”The Lord appeared to Abraham near the great trees of Mamre while he was sitting at the entrance to his tent in the heat of the day.  Abraham looked up and saw three men standing nearby. When he saw them, he hurried from the entrance of his tent to meet them and bowed low to the ground.  He said, “If I have found favor in your eyes, my lord, do not pass your servant by. Let a little water be brought, and then you may all wash your feet and rest under this tree. Let me get you something to eat, so you can be refreshed and then go on your way—now that you have come to your servant.”

”Very well,” they answered, “do as you say.”

So Abraham hurried into the tent to Sarah. “Quick,” he said, “get three seahs of the finest flour and knead it and bake some bread.”
Genesis 18:1-6

We must remember that Ishmael was born at this point. Sarah, when she was told that she would bear a child laughed. Again, in the physical there are impossibilities and such a thing unheard of, but in The Spiritual ALL things are possible to him that believes.

Now let’s look again at Job.  He experienced loss of all his land, goods, children, health… All his earthly possessions were stripped by Satan in his attempt to make him speak ill of The LORD.  But Job remained faithful. Even in disease, he scaped and scratched with molten clay bits.

“Then the Lord said to Satan, “Have you considered my servant Job? There is no one on earth like him; he is blameless and upright, a man who fears God and shuns evil. And he still maintains his integrity, though you incited me against him to ruin him without any reason.”

“Skin for skin!” Satan replied. “A man will give all he has for his own life. But now stretch out your hand and strike his flesh and bones, and he will surely curse you to your face.”

The Lord said to Satan, “Very well, then, he is in your hands; but you must spare his life.”  So Satan went out from the presence of the Lord and afflicted Job  with painful sores from the soles of his feet to the crown of his head.  Then Job took a piece of broken pottery and scraped himself with it as he sat among the ashes.  His wife said to him, “Are you still maintaining your integrity? Curse God and die!”
He replied, “You are talking like a foolish woman. Shall we accept good from God, and not trouble?”  In all this Job did not sin in what he said.
Job 2:3-10

In our ‘season’ of Job (trials and tribulations) turn to God! I must admit that there are times that there is no other place to turn.  At times suicide seems like the only answer. I will point out that our existence only truly starts after we die. Consider the billions who existed before us. We have discussed ‘recycling.’  I have placed a dare on the table, forget about your heirs and place it all (your riches) in an account for your next ‘go round’ or ‘recycled spirit.’  I was argued down when an individual stated we might be back as animals. I could not help but laugh. “For real!” I  said. “So, I guess in that case you would not be able to withdraw the money!” Then it gives the money more ‘time’ to appreciate.  How about if the bank ceases to exist? In those cases, I wish I was a banker. There must be a period in which unclaimed funds revert back  to the banks property when they are unclaimed.   We can look this up.

There is almost $33 billion in unclaimed money from old payroll checks, utility refunds, trust distributions, stocks, banking or checking accounts, certificates of deposit and the contents of safe deposit boxes, according to estimates by the National Association of Unclaimed PropertyAdministrators.

Ok, enough clowning around. There is a realm we all go to.

Like I have said, unnecessary to repeat what has already been Written and researched. It is just nice to open doors.

How did this start? We can go back and follow through. Let me note a few things. When did this start? Who were Abraham’s five children?
Isaac
Son
Ishmael
Son

Jokshan
Son
Zimran
Son
Midian
Son

We see that after the passing of Sarah Abraham had more children. One thing that I wanted to note was that Abraham and Sarah did not always follow the perfect will of God. He was asked to step out of his comfort zone. So many times we are asked, or made to do this:
https://www.openbible.info/topics/stepping_out_of_your_comfort_zone

There are so many examples,  feel free to browse the subject ‘comfort zones.’

I just want to point out that Abraham was not always in the will of God
https://www.intouch.org/read/blog/in-the-will-of-god

For example it was Sarah that realized that he did not have an heir. It was Sarah that encouraged him to bed her handmaid:

“Now Sarai, Abram’s wife, had borne him no children. But she had an Egyptian slave named Hagar; so she said to Abram, “The Lord has kept me from having children. Go, sleep with my slave; perhaps I can build a family through her.”

Abram agreed to what Sarai said. So after Abram had been living in Canaan ten years, Sarai, his wife, took her Egyptian slave Hagar and gave her to her husband to be his wife. He slept with Hagar, and she conceived.  When she knew she was pregnant, Hagar began to despise her mistress. Then Sarai said to Abram, “You are responsible for the wrong I am suffering. I put my slave in your arms and now that she knows she is pregnant, she despises me. May the Lord judge between you and me.”

“Your slave is in your hands,” Abram said. “Do with her whatever you think best.” Then Sarai mistreated Hagar; so she fled from her.
The angel of the Lord found Hagar near a spring in the desert; it was the spring that is beside the road to Shur. And he said, “Hagar, slave of Sarai, where have you come from, and where are you going?”
“I’m running away from my mistress Sarai,” she answered.  Then the angel of the Lord told her, “Go back to your mistress and submit to her.” The angel added, “I will increase your descendants so much that they will be too numerous to count.”

The angel of the Lord also said to her:

“You are now pregnant
and you will give birth to a son.
You shall name him Ishmael,
for the Lord has heard of your misery.
He will be a wild donkey of a man;
his hand will be against everyone
and everyone’s hand against him,
and he will live in hostility
toward all his brothers.”
Genesis 16:1-12

Again, what God permits, He permits for a reason. With God, things occur in seasons. I had my season of plenty, this has been followed by a season of despair and learning to lean 100% on Him, my God.  Essentially, there is no me. I have been made to realize it is God in me. I have pleasure in speaking with my Father. I have learned to give Him thanks in ALL things. There is a reason I am where I am at. Being where I was before I was shaken to my roots, I was and had so much. In our times of plenty: Worship Him, thank HIM and bestow praises on to Whom they are due which is only God!!  Amen.   In my plenty, I lacked gratitude for what I had, humility for where I was placed.  I look back and realize there was so much wanting, and yet I PRAISE GOD and thank GOD for who, what and where I am today!!

So many things have been pointed out. We are supposed to give a portion of our blessings. If you do not go to church, your hands, your way, people you pass can be blessed. Have that old sweater, those unused slacks, even that bag of old socks, even underwear. Give until it hurts, you will be blessed. I am moved to see all these multimillionaire pastors. Yes, they have congregations and people they serve. It was pointed out in my heart that mother Theresa was known for her good works, yet as publicised as it was, she remained serving. Yes, she could have retired and passed in wealth, but she chose to live as the people she served.

For a moment, I point out our example – Jesus, on Palm Sunday sent his disciples for a donkey that was owned by others!  The Son of God who was present at the creation of the Universe, did not own a horse! We have pointed out that he came as the step-son of a carpenter.  In His temptations, He was offered worldly adulation and temporal riches. He kept His eyes focused on The ONE Bathing—the purpose for which He had been sent to fulfill God’s will.  Jesus realized that He may be given a name, presence and riches worth more than had ever been known, but  for all that awaited Him in Heaven, it was easy to cast this temporary joy away for the GLORY that awaited. His Name was given before His time, such as Abraham’s son with Sarah’s handmaiden.

At this point, I point out something that struck me. Sarah was given Abraham’s seed and bore a child. Let us turn the tables a slight bit. Let us say you were in Sarah’s position. All her 86 years she had not borne Abraham an heir and then she was pregnant. The emotions that washed over her, imagine!  This 86-year old past her prime, and now I have his seed growing in me.  Reason for scorn, ridicule, stepping away?

“He slept with Hagar, and she conceived.  When she knew she was pregnant, she began to despise her mistress.”
Genesis 16 :4

The more mind-blowing thing is that we say (most do not believe) God knows all.  It is said so many places in The Bible. Why does He not change things?  Why does He allow suffering?  Realizing who He created, He gives us choice. When we make the ‘choice ‘ to continue to praise and worship Him DESPITE our circumstances, it is to His Glory!!

Amen

Unwarranted Favor

We all received . . . undeserved kindness upon undeserved kindness.—John 1:16.

A wine grower went to the marketplace early one morning to hire men to work in his vineyard. The men he found agreed to the wage he offered and went to work. The owner needed more workers, however, and returned to the marketplace throughout the day to hire more and more men, offering a fair wage even to those whom he hired at the end of the afternoon. When evening came, he gathered the workers together to give them their wages, and he gave the same amount to each of them, whether they had labored many hours or just one. When those first hired realized this, they complained. The winegrower replied: ‘Did you not agree to the wage I offered? Do I not have the right to give all my workers whatever I want? Are you envious because I am generous?’ Matthew 20:1-15

Jesus’ parable reminds us of one of God’s qualities that is often mentioned in the Word—His “undeserved kindness.” As He does, He does. He created the Universe out of Nothing. Life where there was no life. We live because He wills it. As we focus on Him, a hedge is built around us and even in this present time, we prosper in the Spirit.

”Do we fear God with praise and submission, bowing our will to His purpose. We are created for His pleasure, have you found your function in Him?”

In the sharing of Job, we read, in response to the success of Job, Satan said: “Have you not put a hedge around him and his household and everything he has? You have blessed the work of his hands, so that his flocks and herds are spread throughout the land.

We have been blessed. Realize it and possess it. We have pointed out that we were created to do His will. Each one of us, as we believe and hand over our existence to Him, we receive so much. Each of us has a “Guardian Angel” and have our names written on the palm of Gods hand, Amen

https://www.desiringgod.org/articles/the-surprising-role-of-guardian-angels

The Bible does tell us that for the believer nothing happens outside God’s control–and yes, if we know Christ, His angels continually watch over us. The Bible says that God “will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways” Psalm 91:11, Amen (and so it IS.) It also teaches that the angels–although they are largely unseen–watch over us and work for our good. The Bible says, “Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?” Hebrews 1:14

As God’s co-workers we urge you not to receive God’s grace in vain. For He says,
“In the time of My favor I heard you,
and in the day of salvation I helped you.”
I tell you, now is the time of God’s favor, now is the day of salvation.  There by God’s awesome grace is placed no stumbling block in anyone’s path, so that our ministry will not be discredited, and so it is in Christ Jesus.

In all gifts and abilities, we shall grow from strength to strength. As servants of God we live to His Glory in every way: in great endurance; in troubles, hardships and distresses; in hard work, sleepless nights and hunger. By God’s grace we exist in purity, understanding, patience and kindness; in the Holy Spirit and in sincere Love; for we are blessed with the fruit of the Spirit.  Amen

We live in truthful speech and in the power of God; with weapons not of this world but in the Spirit, for we strive not against flesh and blood, but Spritual opponents in high places. Our weapon is of righteousness in the right hand and in The Word on the left. Fight the good fight in faith, Amen

We are maintained by God’s awesome grace through glory and dishonor, bad report and good report; genuine, yet regarded as impostors; known, yet regarded as unknown; dying, and yet we live on; beaten, and yet not killed; sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; poor, yet making many rich; having nothing, and yet possessing everything, Amen
—2 Corinthians 6:1-10

Abraham and Moses, Men of God

We learn of Abraham- the father of many nations:

“No longer will you be called Abramb ; your name will be Abraham, for I have made you a father of many nations. I will make you very fruitful; I will make nations of you, and kings will come from you. I will establish my covenant as an everlasting covenant between me and you and your descendants after you for the generations to come, to be your God and the God of your descendants after you. The whole land of Canaan, where you now reside as a foreigner, I will give as an everlasting possession to you and your descendants after you; and I will be their God.”

Then God said to Abraham, “As for you, you must keep my covenant, you and your descendants after you for the generations to come. This is my covenant with you and your descendants after you, the covenant you are to keep: Every male among you shall be circumcised. You are to undergo circumcision, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and you.”

Genesis 17:5-11

In Genesis 12, the LORD spoke to Abram (as he was called then):

“Leave your country, your people and your father’s household and go to the land I will show you. I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.” Genesis 12:1-3

1. Abraham was an old man when God called him to set out on this journey.

He was 75 when God called him to leave his home, 86 when his first son Ishmael was born through Hagar, 99 when he was circumcised, and 100 when his son Isaac was born through his wife Sarah. Genesis 12-21

Have you ever been in a position where you felt that God wanted you to do something outside of your comfort zone? Yet, we learn that despite any doubts or questions Abram may have had in the beginning, he obeyed the LORD and left with his family.

To summarize, ‘age’ means not a thing To God who created time. Being descendants of Adam and Eve, time matters. Before Man emwas created, there was stirring in the Spiritual realm..

A Fall From Grace

Today’s post will focus on Satan’s fall from Grace.  Many of us know that before his fall from grace, Satan’s name was Lucifer, the archangel.  Lucifer was considered one of the most, if not the most beautiful of God’s angels.  Lucifer was God’s praise and worship leader, but vanity and a desire to be worshipped, rather than to worship God, marked the beginning of the end of his time in Heaven.  As Lucifer attempted a coup in Heaven, he gathered one-third of the angels to rebel against God.  The archangel Michael led the fight against Lucifer and his rebels and the end result was God kicking him, now known as Satan and all those that joined him out of Heaven banishing them to earth where his cohorts are known as demons.

We know that Satan and his demons hate us and are always busy looking to turn us from Our Father’s face and to worship Satan.   You see, God allows Satan to tempt us, however, God has Satan on a leash. We see this clearly in the story of Job.  Here Satan met with GOD and other angels and was asked where he had been (or what he had been up to on earth, but be clear God already knew):

“One day the angels came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan also came with them. The Lord said to Satan, “Where have you come from?”

Satan answered the Lord, “From roaming throughout the earth, going back and forth on it.”

Job 1:6,7

Why is Satan allowed to come after us?

We see what was done in the time of Adam and Eve. For the most part, Satan had free rein at that point. So when Satan told God he had been ‘checking in’ on Job, Satan declared to God that Job only worshipped God because God had blessed him with so much.  However, God knew better and so He allowed Satan to test Job’s faith to God.  In reality, we see that The LORD used Satan to prove Job.

So much can be said; so many times I am reminded of the season of Job.

Again I remind you that God keeps Satan on a leash, but Satan is allowed to test, tempt and try us all, on while attached to his leash.  Imagine if you had a bulldog to dissuade intruders. In truly ‘unsafe’ neighborhoods, a fiercer dog would be necessary to dissuade potential robbers and thieves.  Now, what does God do? If He spoke, Satan would be no more. Why is he still here?   For The GLORY of The King, The LORD of hosts! Why do you think we have the story of Job? Many things may have been added over time, but the lesson remains the same. We go through so much. When we turn 100% to GOD and hand over 100% of our problems to Him, mind you I did not my say 99.9%, but 100% or all of it must be laid at the Cross.

Without God, you are nothing! It takes me a while to explain this. If you were not created, you would not be here. There would be no you.

This is where being of the medical persuasion kicks in. Sperm + egg leads to an Ova.  Fetal development, birth, survival. For a second imagine where things could have gone wrong anywhere along that process, or do go wrong. What do we have then? Regrets? Funny thing is I have met many parents with disabled kids. For the most part it makes them stronger, different.

Me for example, my disability has taught me so much about my parents and unconditional love.   Following my motor vehicle accident I learned just what true love means.  It’s definition we find in 1 Corinthians 13 and I realize how appropriate this passage of scripture truly is, especially in my life. Love is patient; love is kind, love does not insist on its own way.  All of this my parents showed me and so much more.  They taught me the true meaning of love, its definition of which I was not clear on prior to my accident.

I now realize that I was supposed to go through this experience, yes it sounds crazy, but I would not be who I am today if I had not!

To say I ‘thank God’ for my accident would be an understatement because I have come to learn that I was spiritually dead in Him.  Now I was saved, but I was not ‘alive’ in the spirit.  Having gone through it all I have gained much more in my relationship with Him. I have ‘glimpsed’ Heaven and been blessed with not only a second chance at life to bear witness, but empowered with an anointing on my life that fuels and drives me daily.  In my prior life I lived in and for this temporary existence, with not thought about eternity on a daily basis.  Now, having been ‘renewed’ in my spirit and ‘reborn’ after being pronounced ‘clinically dead,’ I am bound to serve Him, to spread His word and to continually have praises to Him on my mouth as I let His light so shine in me.

Brothers and sisters in Christ, I like you still face attacks by the devil; they won’t stop until Christ comes back for His church.  However, like Job, my faith endures despite these attacks a I know, through God, my change is coming if I continue to worship, commune, serve and pray to Him, He will deliver us out of the hands of Satan and restore us 100x to what we may have lost for our faithfulness in the midst of our storm.
