How does He feel?

I just shared that we have a ‘jealous God.’ By that I mean that someone or something is in possession of something that He (God) rightfully should have!

So many times our wants and desires are focused on various things. We convince ourselves that we want and need something or someone or we turn our focus on that which we believe holds promise. In these scenarios, we are distracted by earthly pursuits and not spiritual ones. This is what it means that we are blessed with a jealous God. Have we ever heard the words “Mine, mine, mine?”  They are uttered by an individual that sees something that is truly theirs or that they want.

However, scripture tells us that we have a jealous God because we were created for His purpose. But at times, we wander off in search of… things that have no relevance to Kingdom building. Now, just where did I get that notion?

In Exodus 20:5, it is not that God is jealous or envious because someone has something He wants or needs.  Rather, Exodus 20:4-5 says, “You shall not make for yourself an idol in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God…” Notice that God is jealous when someone gives to another something that rightly belongs to Him, such as our praise and worship. He is also hurt when we turn from Him. He and He alone has supplied all our needs according to His endless Riches in Glory. We sing “Gloria, Hoseanna in the Highest,” and do not understand its far reaching meaning.

glo·ry

ˈɡlôrē/ a noun

1. High renown or honor won by notable achievements.

“to fight and die for the glory of one’s nation”

synonyms: renown, fame, prestige, honor, distinction, kudos, eminence, acclaim, praise; More

2. Magnificence or great beauty.

“the train has been restored to all its former glory”

synonyms: magnificence, splendor, resplendence, grandeur, majesty, greatness, nobility.

It can also be used as a verb:

1. Take great pride or pleasure in

“they were individuals who gloried in their independence”

synonyms: take pleasure in, revel in, rejoice in, delight in; relish, savor; congratulate oneself on, be proud of, boast about, bask in; informal get a kick out of, get a thrill out of,

“we gloried in our independence”

We serve a ‘jealous’’ God, understandably so.  As was pointed out above, we search for and give glory to things that are products of our hands!  One does not need to point out what we need to focus on.  Be blessed.

The GLORY of God! In temptation, “flee” pronouncing The Word. Know it, so it does not get ‘twisted.’

Quite a few times we have ‘recited’ and learned this verse.  Let’s head down memory lane and be blessed yet again! We live in blessing! Bathe in it, plunge in deep, swim in it, float in it.  Blessing is our support, faith, our access point. The doors of ‘Faithing’ are thrown wide open when we let go!

Jumping out of a plane and parachuting can be an experience. From exiting the plane, dropping, twirling and aligning yourself “spread eagle” and soaring (Oops! Did I say soaring?) Dropping ever so quickly… but it is a rush! Time stands still. IF there is a photographer, you are smiling and thumbs-upping it, all while falling.  To? Yes it is frighteningly exhilarating. Has anyone done this and gotten hurt? Undoubtedly.  But on that free fall you let all go, and just drop with exhilaration.

I wondered why I did this, and it is explicable — for the rush. The experience allows one to “leave it all behind,”— the worries, fears, bonds of mistrust, lasso failure and just-hope… Yes, hope is a big thing. Hope is so many things; a knowledge of the gratitude to stand when it is over.  To live, to have your parachute open… Yes! There is a back-up parachute or even another jumper who can guide you down in most cases, but neither diminish the thrill. But let us Look at this in another context!  Let’s take it to the Spiritual realm!

At times we feel ourselves falling, out of control, lost, bewildered…

“A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but the worry, shame, depression, lack shall not come nigh thee.” Psalm 91:7 and, “Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.” Amen.

“Because you hast made the LORD, which is The source of all thy refuge, even the most High, thy dwelling place,” Amen.

“For in so believing, faithing and being blessed, there shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.”

Check this out:  “For He shall give his Angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.”

Read this again! We are aware that we are on and in a “stage” (of life).  There are roundabout witnesses we most times do not see.

Check this out:  “And Elisha prayed, and said, Jehovah, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And Jehovah opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.” 2 Kings 6:17

“And what will the host that have been assigned to us on the stage of life do? They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.” Psalm 91:7-12

We discussed this in terms of the temptations of Christ. The second temptation was when He was taken to the pinnacle of the temple. This gives us a glimpse at the power and authority given Satan. When God gives, He gives. The same Jesus who was tempted to turn stones to bread for the ravenous hunger that befell Him, could not have walked up the temple parapet, but The Word says “He was led.”

“The devil led him to Jerusalem and had him stand on the highest point of the temple. ‘If you are the Son of God,’ he said, ‘throw yourself down from here. For it is written:

He will command his angels concerning you to guard you carefully; they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.’

“Jesus answered, ‘It is said: Do not put the Lord your God to the test.’ ”

Luke 4:9-12

Physically, or in The Spirit, it is not important at this point BUT Satan asked Him to jump, and as The Word says, the Angels Of The LORD will bear Thee up.  A definite misquotation of The Word.  The Word doesn’t say, “Test God!” But, rather “Let God be God!” Amen

Good Morning, God day 😊

“But if we confess our sins to Him, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness and wickedness.”

– 1 John 1:9

About this, we can say so much.  But, simply – Make it a habit to speak with Him daily.  To walk with Him.  To be under His grace, protection and strength.

Even if, or when we feel there is no Love to give or share, His Love towards us is unchanging. God is always a place to run to, to relax, relate and release with.  Amen

The number “12”

Good Morning!

Happy blessed month of ‘SONG OF VICTORY OF HALLELUJAH!’

“The LORD will perfect that which concerneth me: Thy mercy, O LORD, endureth forever:  forsake not the works of Thine Own hands.”
Psalm 138:8

This is the twelfth month:  Twelve can be found in 187 places in God’s word. Revelation alone has 22 occurrences of the number. The meaning of 12, which is considered a perfect number, is that it symbolizes God’s power and authority, as well as serving as a perfect governmental foundation. It can also symbolise completeness or the nation of Israel as a whole. For example, Jacob (Israel) had twelve sons, each of which represented a tribe begun by a prince, for 12 princes total. Ishmael, who was born to Abraham through Hagar, also had twelve princes.

Christ called and choose twelve men to bear witness to what He did and to spread the good news of the gospel to the entire world. After He was raised from the dead, Jesus told the eleven disciples (Judas had killed himself) that God had given Him ALL power and authority in both earth and heaven (God’s divine authority – Matthew 28:18).

Twelve thousand from each tribe of Israel (144,000 total) will receive salvation during the end time’s Great Tribulation (Revelation 7). Another set of 144,000 (12 x 12,000) will be taken from earth in order to serve and follow the Lamb of God (Revelation 14:1 – 5). Christ’s bride in Revelation 12, the church, wears a crown containing twelve stars.

The New Jerusalem, which is made in heaven and brought to the earth by God Himself, contains 12 gates made of pearl which are each manned by an angel. Over each gate will be one of the names of Israel’s twelve tribes. The walls are 144 cubits high (12 multiplied by itself – Revelation 21:16 – 17), with the city itself being 12,000 furlongs square.

Therefore:  “God will perfect all that concerns you; and make you complete in every sense and ramifications!”
In Jesus Christ Mighty Name. Amen!!!
Beloved, welcome to the Month of perfection with a song of Victory of Hallelujah in Christ Jesus. Amen!!!

An every day prayer

OH GOD, I depend on you.  I have no power of my own.  When things are going well for me, I know they have come from you and that I have no power of my own. In my trials I rely on you.  In my temptations I trust in you.  My success is in your hands and so is my life.  I have no power of my own.  Oh God, I cannot do without you.  Save me from all evil and guide my going out and coming in, now and forever more.  In Jesus name.  Amen.
Great Prayer… Feel free to share as led.

Patience!

“Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for Him.  (Remember, existence in the Spiritual is not the same as it is here.) We have discussed Daniel and his prayer.  As soon as he prayed, the answer was sent.  Matters in the Spiritual realm delayed his response. However, his continued prayer and fasting determined what happened: https://www.allaboutprayer.org/daniel-fast.htm

“Worry not yourself because of them who prospereth in their way, because of they who bringeth wicked devices to pass, but your part is of The LORD! Our prayers, requests and needs have already been met.”  A continuous prayer – Thessalonians 5:17 (once again this refers back  to Daniels prayer. In the writing of The New Testament it leans heavily on what was written in The Old Testament, once again, this refers to Daniels prayer and fast.) Praise – https://www.crosswalk.com/blogs/debbie-mcdaniel/what-the-power-of-praise-can-do.html

Belief – ‘Faithing it’ https://bible.knowing-jesus.com/topics/The-Effects-Of-Faith

And patience – we must remember that the character of Love is patience:  Remember, GOD is LOVE and Love, as described, is patient.  This is The Character of God!!!

“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy.  It does not boast.  It is not proud.  It does not dishonor others.  It is not self-seeking.  It is not easily angered.  It keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil, but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away…”

Amen, this describes GOD! Are we judged? Yes! We will be, based on our decisions and acts.

1 Corinthians 5:10 says:  “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to what he hath done, whether it be good or bad.”

So in effect, we must ask for forgiveness and strive to do right, why?  Micah 7:19 says specifically:

“God will turn again; God will have compassion upon us; God will subdue our iniquities. And God wilt cast all our sins into the depths of the sea.”   IF, we repent and turn away from doing ‘wrong.’  Just what is ‘wrong?’

“So whoever knows the right thing to do and fails to do it, for him it is sin.”   James 4:17

“Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!”

Isaiah 5:20

“And this is the judgment: the light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the light because their works were evil. For everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his works should be exposed. But whoever does what is true comes to the light, so that it may be clearly seen that his works have been carried out in God.”

John 3:19-21

We can go on, but rather, I will share where and what to look up:

Have an “Aww! That was awesome” day/time/period of blessings! Your choice of when/How long…

Why should we sing? Actually, is there a reason to be joyful? Has anyone ever told you “You are differet!” Happy all the time? Even at times of hardship we have something to give praise for and to be happy with and about.  Remember this; I will give him thanks in all things, does this ring a bell? What are all things? Good, bad, ugly. In “All” things there is a reason to give God the praise and thanks. There is no end to our ability to give God thanks in every situation. We learn from and in every situation- Amen!

There are so many reasons to give Him thanks, ways to give Him thanks ponder this: In our thoughts, actions and even hesitation; ask yourself in all your ways, is The LORD to be praised?

“And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in His tabernacle sacrifices of (It used to be of animals, we can replace those with doing, being still, going into our inner room to give our all, Amen) And as we said in this case a sacrifice of J-O-Y (Pause on this. Jesus came AND changed The World, Calendar time A.C. and B.C.) Other’s second and yourself last. How many sharing have we had that state this fact? https://www.openbible.info/topics/putting_others_first
I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the LORD. Hear, O LORD, when I cry with my voice: have mercy also upon me (Do we at times wonder what mercy means? So many ways, we see the word, claim it and pursue it.  “Mercy” what does it truly mean?

Compassionate or kindly forbearance shown toward an offender, an enemy, or other person in one’s power; compassion, pity, or benevolence: Have mercy on the poor sinner. 2. the disposition to be compassionate or forbearing: we can understand it as dealing with an adversary wholly without mercy.
We ask The LORD to answer us as we pray (once again, I will ask “Have you prayed today?” Too busy? Doing what? Will you face everything on your own, is everything in your control? At times things seem ‘topsy turvy out of control,  where do we find the ability to stay grounded?https://www.openbible.info/topics/being_grounded)

When Thou saidst, Seek ye My face; my heart said unto Thee, Thy face, LORD, will I seek. Hide not thy face far from me; put not thy servant away in anger: Thou hast been my Help; leave me not, neither forsake me, O God of my salvation. https://www.openbible.info/topics/being_grounded
Just to restate again with a link, what it means to be grounded it is posted again. The essence of this share is Psalm 27:6-9
Pray on brethren, and give thanks in ALL things, Amen
