Chapter 20

Chapter 20

A story that is His-story

We read and are struck by the sheer magnificence of His Glory, of His Love.

To him who alone doeth great wonders: for his mercy endureth for ever. To him that by wisdom made the heavens: for his mercy endureth for  To him that stretched out the earth above the waters: for his mercy endureth for ever. To him that made great lights: for his mercy endureth for ever: The sun to rule by day: for his mercy endureth for ever: The moon and stars to rule by night: for his mercy endureth for ever. To him that smote Egypt in their firstborn: for his mercy endureth for ever: And brought out Israel from among them: for his mercy endureth for ever: With a strong hand, and with a stretched out arm: for his mercy endureth for ever. To him which divided the Red sea into parts: for his mercy endureth for ever: And made Israel to pass through the midst of it: for his mercy endureth for ever: But overthrew Pharaoh and his host in the Red sea: for his mercy endureth for ever. To him which led his people through the wilderness: for his mercy endureth for ever. To him which smote great kings: for his mercy endureth for ever: And slew famous kings: for his mercy endureth for ever: Sihon king of the Amorites: for his mercy endureth for ever: And Og the king of Bashan: for his mercy endureth for ever: And gave their land for an heritage: for his mercy endureth for ever: Even an heritage unto Israel his servant: for his mercy endureth for ever. Who remembered us in our low estate: for his mercy endureth for ever: And hath redeemed us from our enemies: for his mercy endureth for ever. Who giveth food to all flesh: for his mercy endureth for ever. O give thanks unto the God of heaven: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Psalm 136: 4-26

If you are offered droves of money and  an existence with leisure in this life, just how could it be described? ‘Loot’ rolling in, note though- I did not say you were blessed. To be specific, blessings are from God. Loot is just that, it is ‘goods without definition’, We have to ask “From where???” It could mean so much If… But why do we use the word if? We are smitten by a fever that is want- we have to have, and then? I ask this question to make you think. Hopefully it touches a nerve. We have all we ever need, then? Point is, we are happy/content here, one again I ask, and then?

It sounded like I might have been a bit testy. I just stated that if here you have all you want and need, how about the next ‘life’, we discussed the ‘possibility’ of ‘recycling’. How then do you prepare for what is next? I have to state that this is THE question. Can anyone tell you what comes next? There is world history and people have existed for eons. I will state half jokingly “Have you met a cave person yet? Or at least an ancestor?” Let me be more serious. We are aware that this ‘Dude’ Jesus was. In His time, there were people, no? I do not think we can deny that He was. Agreed, as Christians, He changed The World!

We can look over history and there never has been any one that has literally changed the world like Him. Even if we admit we are not followers, there was this historical figure that existed and changed the course of His-story (and I refer to the ‘creating power’ that caused the world to be.

Let me point out another fact here’s the order of the planets, starting nearest the sun and working outward through the solar system: Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune — and Planet Nine. If being believers God created all, we can look deeper into this. We are such a distance that reasonable exposure to the son causes no problems. Seasons change, yet we have developed waus to ‘cope’. The closest object is the moon. Not enough sun, not big enough. Mars? Too far, no life? I can go on, but it gives a clear concept. Life is as it was created to be. In this realm, far enough away from the sun which provides warmth, heat, light.

Let me make a point that has possibly crossed our minds. Is there ‘life’ on other planets? We have sent out various technologies to explore our realm. Just was we have discussed, it would take years to go from planet to planet. We would arrive and have to figure out how to live. Where would you get the oxygen? The more I delve into this, the more it becomes clear that Earth was created for life! We are life! No other planet has what is needed for ‘life’. Not even the moon! So, we can assume that Earth was placed just so for humans and living life.

Mind you, we were created last! As caretakers of what was created. Furthermore, we – male and female were created in His image. As pointed out not that God in any way appears as us, but we are like Him. Yes, we are ‘little’ gods. Do we act like it? Or are we so caught up by what we are ‘missing’.

Chapter 21

Chapter 21

Repitition is no ‘sin’, in fact it is a blessing!

I set out to be filled with The Word (a hunger brewed within) and I ‘stumbled’ on a passage I had read prior. To read and meditate on The Word is called for. Out go all those ‘wilful’ self fulfilling thoughts. We don’t give them room at all, we give The Word room and we GROW therein!

Try it! I know we have done this before; what is your favorite or most ‘meaningful’ bible verse there is? Seriously! We agreed to not John 3:16 it. But rather encouraged 3:16’ing other books. We even read Psal 3:16 and Revelation 3:16. Any takers? Volunteers to say exactly what they say? I was moved to do this and hopefully it caught on. Amazing if you could start from Genesis and move through Revelations. That would be VERY impressive. But, the reason I was moved to do so was if there were excuses as to why The Word was ‘boring’, it would encourage reading, knowing and hopefully memorizing what is written.

I am aware that we have shied away from our topic. Let’s get reading!

Psalm 136

O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever. O give thanks unto the God of gods: for his mercy endureth for ever. O give thanks to the Lord of lords: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Give thanks in all things. Hold on! god’s??? We are ‘little’ gods, we are created in His image. So, much respect we must give our leaders, they have ‘dominion’, but the ultimate dominion is to The creator of all. We just looked up the solar system, the planets, the sun and were struck by how ‘liveable’ Earth was. Far enough away from the sun that we get its warmth, far enough away that with knowledge we do not suffer solar radiation. We also took a ‘look’ at other planets, even ‘closest’ planets and realized that Earth is a perfect distance from the sun. Who created this? What wisdom and/or knowledge went into this? This makes us stand with our minds ablaze, jaws slack, mouth wide open.

We looked at the 7 days of creation. More came to heart. What is and was described as “days” were ‘periods’. Amazing that the creator of all would need to ‘rest’ on the 7th day. I was ‘lost’ trying to figure out the ‘Sabbath’, why Saturday for some and Sunday for others. Still in being in the ‘medical field’s, it was every day for some. Made me think. A week is a week, each c day like the day before. What makes them different? Yes, the Isrealites were told to keep a day ‘holy’, churches developed this. I will point out that each day is as ‘holy’ as we make it. Walk with The Lord and He will direct you, no matter the day, season or conditions. We live in a blessed time. In essence, we have a new ‘leading’. Yes, there are days for gathering unto the Lord. Important! Do not place these aside, the community of believers is essential for a multitude of reasons: agreeing as touching prayer points, learning The Word, listening to teachings. I have to state that there are so many things that wevinbour everyday miss and simply going to here does a boatload! So, do not neglect the gathering of yourselves together.

“Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.”

Hebrews 10:25

As we shared, all connected! Amazing, no?

In our reading of Psalm 136 the key byline is “His love endures forever.” This comes after every verse! We can see this in:

1 Chronicles 16:34

Psalm 100:5

I decided to take a ‘smattering’ of both the old and new Testaments. The new is built on the old, but they speak of The Word of God.

Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever. Give thanks to the God of gods, for his steadfast love endures forever. Give thanks to the Lord of lords, for his steadfast love endures forever; to him who alone does great wonders, for his steadfast love endures forever; to him who by understanding made the heavens, for his steadfast love endures forever; …

Psalm 136:1-26

Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; for his steadfast love endures forever! Let Israel say, “His steadfast love endures forever.” Let the house of Aaron say, “His steadfast love endures forever.” Let those who fear the Lord say, “His steadfast love endures forever.” Out of my distress I called on the Lord; the Lord answered me and set me free. …

Psalm 118:1-

29

Praise the Lord, all nations! Extol him, all peoples! For great is his steadfast love toward us, and the faithfulness of the Lord endures forever. Praise the Lord!

Psalm 117:1-2

Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; for his steadfast love endures forever!

Psalm 118:1

And when he had taken counsel with the people, he appointed those who were to sing to the Lord and praise him in holy attire, as they went before the army, and say, “Give thanks to the Lord, for his steadfast love endures forever.”

2 Chronicles 20:21

For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 8:38-

39

But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Romans 5:

8

And the Lord said to me, “Go again, love a woman who is loved by another man and is an adulteress, even as the Lord loves the children of Israel, though they turn to other gods and love cakes of raisins.”

Hosea 3:

1

The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.

Lamentations 3:22-23

See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him.

1 John 3:

1

Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; for his steadfast love endures forever!

Psalm 118:29

Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; for his steadfast love endures forever! Let Israel say, “His steadfast love endures forever.” Let the house of Aaron say, “His steadfast love endures forever.” Let those who fear the Lord say, “His steadfast love endures forever.”

Psalm 118:1-

4

Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever! Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom he has redeemed from trouble and gathered in from the lands, from the east and from the west, from the north and from the south. Some wandered in desert wastes, finding no way to a city to dwell in; hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted within them.

Psalm 107:1-136:3

So that we would not conclude that it was a ‘singular’ individuals ‘way’ of writing, we took it from the different books and mixed it up.

One thing we have not done in a blink of is pray. Let us get busy!

Lord, He a enlu Father, Holy Spirit; You are one. You produced Jesus from Your heart, He is You. You would shock so many with Your presence, not only that, but when Jesus was ‘leaving’ He said You would send Your spirit to dwell in us. Lord, hallelujah! Cleanse me that I may be a worthy vessel for your will. Fill me so that I may spill over and touch many who need to be touched. Father, use me as You will. Thank You for each moment, it is another opportunity to show Your will and working in my Life. Hallelujah Spirit, for Your guidance and Love. Thank You Jesus, King of Heaven and of Earth. We bow before You, all authority is Yours. Lord, Your temptation and Your life were given up for me, as King I bow before you in deference to give You all honor. Thank You Lord. I am touched in Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen

Chapter 22

Chapter 22

My goal is that you and your brethren (in our words- and sister too) may be encouraged in heart and united in Love, so that you may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that you may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

So, let’s get busy! Treasures??? We are about to get paid!!! Payday, payday! Alleluia!

He will be the sure foundation for your times, a rich store of salvation and wisdom and knowledge;

the fear of the Lord is the key to this treasure.
Isaiah 33:6

And ‘wisdom’ is the knowledge of God and in ‘knowing’ is wisdom.

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.

Proverbs 9:10

To practice what we preach, let us pray:

Lord Jesus, Hallelujah! We praise You for the perceived difficulties in our lives. So often we want to give up. Thank You for faith. Even gave th as slight as a mustard seed accoints for much in Your Kingdom. Lord we thank You for bearing our wrongs on Your back. We know that the father of all lies sought to fool you to step against The Word that You wrote. We praise You for stepping politely aside. Lord, You know all, we kneel before you in submission for rather than call Your angels to Change Life forever, You changed it in a different way. Lord, You bore my faults on Your back. Thank You Lord! We lay before you in subjection to your Kingship. Touch us, heal us, fill us, hold us that we may do Your will. Thank you for the trials, they make us hold onto You tighter. Lord, help me as I fall! Be glorified in me. Alleluia for the testimony in Jesus’ name. Amen

Do we have ‘wisdom’? Are we knowledge filled? As we go through trials, let us not that they are for a ‘short’ period. Lazarus was ‘dead’; his spirit had left his body. It was to and for the glory of God. What did He do as a believer for those days? I can tell you that where he was if he had a choice, he would have stayed. It is for the ‘comfort’ of our loved ones that many times we are brought through ‘trials’. Funny enough, Paul in his ministry said

“For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain. But if I live on in the flesh, this will mean fruit from my labor; yet what I shall choose I cannot tell. For I am hard-pressed between the two, having a desire to depart and be with Christ, which is far better.”

Philippians 1:21–23

We can look at this many different ways. To pass away does not ‘automatically’ mean you are in Heaven, but the timeless afterlife. Yes, there is a positive and a negative as we shared, there no ‘time’ exists. You are here on Earth, then you pass and based on decision you are where decisions placed you.

As shared, I thought, the billion billion Spirits that have passed on would take eons to judge. I have a new view; there ‘time’ does not exist. Yes, we will be aware that we are ‘experiencing’ but it will be in a ‘timeless’ fashion.

We can read further what Paul says:

“According to my earnest expectation and hope that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ will be magnified in my body, whether by life or by death. For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain. But if I live on in the flesh, this will mean fruit from my labor; yet what I shall choose I cannot tell. For I am hard-pressed between the two, having a desire to depart and be with Christ, which is far better”

Philippians 1:20–23

He makes this a bit complex to understand, but in faith as Christians our next stop is the final stop and it is filled with Glory.  To be with Christ is far better, but we have a job to do first. Believe? Not just that. Witness? Yup, that’s a part of it. Let me ask you this. The people you love, especially your family; wouldn’t you love to spend eternity with them? I am aware that I did not address ‘couples’, that is a given.

1. Prayer and Fasting

But when you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.…But when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face, that your fasting may not be seen by others but by your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you. Matthew 6:6, 17-18

The first guaranteed winner is prayer and fasting. God desires that his children seek him through faith-filled prayer and fasting, and he promises to reward those who earnestly seek him (Hebrews 11:6). Prayer is one of the chief ways we show our reliance on God and are able to know him. Be sure to put your stock in what God values and rewards, and make sure you are living a life characterized by seeking God through prayer and fasting.

2. Compassion for the vulnerable

…Then the righteous will answer him, saying, “Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?” And the King will answer them, “Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.”

Matthew 25:37-40

3. Bearing insults and being excluded for the name of Christ

Blessed are you when people hate you and when they exclude you and revile you and spurn your name as evil, on account of the Son of Man! Rejoice in that day, and leap for joy, for behold, your reward is great in heaven; for so their fathers did to the prophets. (Luke 6:22-23)

It seems to be backwards for us to be told to “rejoice” and “leap for joy” when we are hated for being Christians. But that is exactly what Jesus says. He knows that persecution in his name brings promised blessing and rewards and glorifies the Father. The gospel of Jesus Christ is so great that, even when we are ridiculed on earth for it, we receive treasure in heaven.

4. Generous giving

…Give, and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you. (Luke 6:38)

5. Hospitality that cannot be repaid

He said also to the man who had invited him, “When you give a dinner or a banquet, do not invite your friends or your brothers or your relatives or rich neighbors, lest they also invite you in return and you be repaid. But when you give a feast, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind, and you will be blessed, because they cannot repay you. For you will be repaid at the resurrection of the just.” (Luke 14:12-14)

6. Love for your enemies

7. Endurance through pressures in ministry

For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.

2 Corinthians 4:17-18

So, we have a few things to ‘aim’ for. Everything in ‘wisdom’. That comes through praying and knowing The Lord.

Again, these are available online, but realizing that it is possible that you would not get to them, I share them here.

Chapter 23

Chapter 23

Praise as a key part of your life.

Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands. Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing. Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.

Psalm 100:1-5

Several places in Scripture command us to make a joyful noise unto the Lord (Psalm 66:1; 95:1–2; 100:1; 1 Chronicles 15:16). The verses that follow explain what that means. For example, Psalm 98:4–6 says, “Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth; break forth into joyous song and sing praises! Sing praises to the Lord with the lyre, with the lyre and the sound of melody! With trumpets and the sound of the horn make a joyful noise before the King, the Lord!” This psalm goes on to describe the sea roaring, the rivers clapping their hands, and the hills breaking forth in song. The picture is that of all creation joining together in noisy worship of God.

A joyful noise is not merely noise for its own sake. Our world is filled with noise, much of it harmful or distracting. A joyful noise is a bold declaration of God’s glorious name and nature, with shouts, clapping, and other outward expressions of praise. A joyful noise often includes music, such as singing, playing instruments, and dancing (Psalm 95:1; 98:6; 149:3; 1 Chronicles 15:28). While there is a time for quiet reverence in the presence of the Lord (Psalm 5:7; 95:6), God also delights in our outward displays of joyful abandon as we worship Him with all we have. Scripture is filled with examples of God’s servants praising Him in a variety of ways, many of them noisy and active. David danced (2 Samuel 6:14); Miriam played the tambourine, singing and dancing (Exodus 15:20–21); the children of Israel shouted and sang (2 Chronicles 15:14); Solomon lifted hands before all the people (1 Kings 8:22); Paul and Silas sang loudly in jail (Acts 16:25); and Jesus was welcomed into Jerusalem with loud shouts of joy (John 12:13).

Not just praise, but allowing that indescribable joy to spill over!

People who cover over their sins will not prosper. But if they confess and forsake them, they will receive mercy.

Proverbs 28:13

Mercy is a joy! Too many times we live in denial. “The Nile is a river on Egypt”! Not a part of our Lives. To live appropriately- we need to confess, open up and let God in. When we do, we have all the reason to praise God. We are free to Live in and through God. Just how you might ask. We are given The Spirit who resides within us and fires us up.

To explain more the reason for praise is we were given a task. Care for The garden in Eden. Something that came to me was God did not speak to Eve, it was said to Adam that the fruit of all could be eaten except the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. I received a forward which I will share with you and there is SO much to learn from it:

This is one of the best post I’ve read about *MEN*

By Myles Munroe……On Marriage & Relationships

Ladies and Gentlemen,

This post is not for everybody. It’s for people who wish to get understanding.

★The word “Eden” is an Hebrew word for “where God dwells”, so the first thing God gave man was “His Presence”.

*(1)*So the first thing a man needs is NOT a woman; it is the presence of God, and a woman should meet him in the presence of God. Eve met Adam in Eden.

*(2)*The next thing God gave man after putting him in the Garden was WORK. (Gen. 2:15). God gave man work before giving him a woman. That means a man needs a job before he gets a woman. God’s priorities are very clear.

*(3)*The third thing God told man was “Cultivate”…… Cultivate here means, bring out the best in everything around you, to maximize the potentials of everything and everyone around you; to make everything fruithful. He only said that to the male. That’s why God will never give a man a finished woman. The male was created by God to create whatever he wants. The woman you are looking for doesn’t exist; she’s in your head. Your job is to take the raw material you married and cultivate her into the woman in your head. So you have been married for 20yrs and you still don’t like the product you get, that’s your *fault*.

*(3a)*If your wife is putting a little weight and you don’t like that, don’t criticize her; it’s your job to wake her at 6am, ” Hey baby, let’s go jogging”.

*(3b)*You don’t like her dress? Take her to a boutique and buy her clothes you like.

*(3c)* She can’t speak good English? Send her to school and pay her tuition fee. CULTIVATE HER!!!!

*(4)*The fourth thing God said to man was, “Guard the Garden”. The man has to be the protector of everything under his care. That’s why God gave you a stronger bone frame. A bigger muscle mass, not to abuse the woman, but to protect the woman.

*(5)*The last thing God gave man was his Word… God told man not to touch the tree; God never told the woman about the tree, NEVER!!!….. Which means it was the man WHO received the word of God and his job was to teach his wife the word of God.

*NOTE*: Nothing frustrates a woman like when she asks her man “So what do you think” and the dummy answers “what ever you think is OK”….or keeps quiet. ..Giving Silence…mmmm.

Don’t do that bro, don’t do that. She’s looking for knowledge and direction. That was the last command God gave to man in Vs 17.

★Now watch this: in verse 18, God said, “It is not good for this man to be alone”. Now, don’t just read the statement fast, read it again slowly, ” it is not good for THIS MAN to be alone”.

WHAT MAN???

Answer : The man who is:

*In his presence

*Has a job (working)

*Can Cultivate you

*Can protect you

*Can teach you.

So here’s the problem:

★ if you meet a man who doesn’t like God’s presence, isn’t working, can’t cultivate you, can’t protect you and can’t teach you, then…..

IT IS GOOD FOR THAT MAN TO BE ALONE….😂😂😂

Full Stop! *

This is a forward I received and it says so much. When we are as we should be. As we were created for and fulfilling the will of God, we have all things added to us.

What was clear is that there are Heavenly Angels and those who were cast out of Heaven for their desire to be ‘otherwise’.

How you are fallen from heaven,

O Day Star, son of Dawn!

How you are cut down to the ground,

you who laid the nations low!

You said in your heart,

    “I will ascend to heaven;

above the stars of God

    I will set my throne on high;

I will sit on the mount of assembly

    in the far reaches of the north;

I will ascend above the heights of the clouds;

I will make myself like the Most High.”

But you are brought down to Sheol,

to the far reaches of the pit.

Isaiah 14:12-15

This is one of the most extensive accounts of the who and what happened. In essence, it explains all. We can see why Lucifer and his cohorts are desperate! Seeking who to exist with them in darkness, with no hope.

The angels cast out of  Heaven have set temporary ‘residence’ here on Earth.

The Bible teaches that fallen angels are invisible, supernatural, angelic, spirits created by God. Satan employs them as his immoral agents. After one-third of the heavenly angels sided with Satan, they were cast out of heaven to the earth (Revelation 12:4).

The Bible calls fallen angels devils, demons, evil, and unclean spirits. Their lust for power is matched with an evil mind, emotions, and will. In their present, restrained state, demon angels are awaiting God’s final judgment and their ultimate destination: God’s predestined, eternal hell, a place of “reserved everlasting chains.”

While the Bible doesn’t offer the exact number of angels, the hosts could outnumber people. Of all the multitudes of angels God created, fallen angels comprise one-third. Satan keeps demons in bondage to his will: corrupting humans to separate them from God.

God controls the universe — including Satan. However, He permits Satan to assign demons to activities and people to test. Demons tempt, accuse, and deceive. Demons dominate and captivate people who practice sin. Demons can inflict disease, ruining bodies and souls (Luke 9:42).

Demons can possess a person who is not under God’s protection (i.e. saved from sin by Jesus Christ), causing them to say and commit evil things (Matthew 8:28-24). The goal of demons is to separate as many people from God as possible forevermore, taking them to eternal hell with them. Their war strategy is influencing the mind to reject the Lord Jesus and live in sin. In God’s churches, they attempt to draw people away from the truth (1 John 4:1).

“For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him.”

Col 1:16

“However, as it is written: “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him.
1 Cor 2:9

And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books. The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what he had done.

Rev 20:12-13

This might get a little much. Let us pray, go back over it and move on.

Father Lord, we thank You for Your word. You have created life and set limits on all. We thank You and praise You for our lives, for the blessings we receive from You. Give us peace and patience to understand Your word. We thank You for all we have learned. Open our eyes, release our Spirits to understand even but a fraction of Your mystery. Father we thank You. In Jesus’ name, Amen

We started at praise and as we understand more and have our hearts open to the mystery, there is need to praise God for the part He plays in our lives.

Once in sharing with a sister who was going through a challenging time job loss, school loans due, mortgage and more. I was moved to share and I share because many have problems that words cannot come close to describing. But, read on…

You are constantly in my thanksgiving, for we are asked to give thanks in all things, No matter what it seems or is; there is a way! Your path was determined when you were in your mothers womb. There are children who never are born for whatever reason. People who try and try. In your life, as you trust Him- God WILL be glorified through you and in you in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen

I share this because I encourage us all to share, pray for each other. You know what A prayer group is a wonderful thing. Find another believer and start there. Things will start to ‘gel’, pray, share, encourage, enlighten- Be blessed.

I am drawn to think of when the Apostles went out to witness, things happened. When Paul was speaking a young man fell asleep (it was late), let us read:

On the first day of the week we came together to break bread. Paul spoke to the people and, because he intended to leave the next day, kept on talking until midnight. There were many lamps in the upstairs room where we were meeting. Seated in a window was a young man named Eutychus, who was sinking into a deep sleep as Paul talked on and on. When he was sound asleep, he fell to the ground from the third story and was picked up dead. Paul went down, threw himself on the young man and put his arms around him. “Don’t be alarmed,” he said. “He’s alive!” Then he went upstairs again and broke bread and ate. After talking until daylight, he left. The people took the young man home alive and were greatly comforted.

Acts 20:7-12

So many ways God is magnified. A ‘revival’ may take a while; what needs to be shared, needs to be shared. In this case Paul was leaving in the morning so even he went without sleep. The poor young man! But, he was blessed…a thir story window? Even in this day and age we could imagine the EMS, the ambulances, cop cars. But Paul threw himself on the lad. Sometimes, even we are moved to do things that don’t make ‘sense’. Think of it; a young man fell from the third story and was picked up dead. Hard to say but he must have asked the body to be placed down and he fell on it! Alleluia, a testimony! Hadn’t the body had enough ‘falling’? But, God was magnified! I guess there was no more sitting on windows or sills! Alleluia!

This moves us right into faith. Why would you be praise-licioisly rejoicing if you didn’t have faith? Let me be stubborn; is there a God? We have seen His work, it gives our potential ‘disbelief’ or lack of ‘faith’ a step back. Many chalk it up to ‘luck’. Let me ask “Is there really that much in this world?” Let’s just think on it. Believers, unbelievers God Loves you all. I can’t say ‘equally’ because in the case of Job, God spoke highly of him at the meeting of the Angels who came to present themselves to Him.

One day the angelsa came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satanb also came with them. Job 1:6

A topic we haven’t touched on is the care and Love Job had as a father for his children. They would celebrate and on bit their sisters, Job would call them and sacrifice on their behalf in case they had sinned or spoken against God.

Chapter 27

Chapter 27

For Thou desirest not sacrifice; else would I give it: Thou delightest not in burnt offering. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, Thou wilt not despise. Restore unto me the joy of Thy salvation; and uphold me with Thy free spirit. Psalm 51:16, 17,12

Are there ‘forces’ beyond our grasp? There are! We can figure that out through a prayer prayed thousands of years ago:

He prayed, “O LORD, God of Israel, there is no God like you in all of heaven and earth. You keep your covenant and show unfailing love to all who walk before you in wholehearted devotion.”

– 2 Chronicles 6:14

It is awesome that ‘existence’ began somewhere. All we experience started somewhere. Even if we are to give ‘evolutionists’ a tad leeway. The world was created (or I should say Earth) a certain distance from the sun so that everything required for life was ‘perfect.’ We have discussed the exact position of Earth in distance from the sun, the center of the solar system.

A lively question arises “Are there other creations?” This question must be asked. Why are we the only ‘beings’ in the Universe. It would be ‘selfish’ to think we were the only ‘beings’ hence our search for other ‘civilizations’, but  remember we are made in His image, little examples of what we will experience. I encourage exploration, but first determine where you are going. This is of utmost importance.

Giving the toehold to ‘evolutionists’, from primitive man we have come. What about dinosaurs? In Exodus, all was created first then man. This encircled the ‘evolutionist’ theory. Chance is a huge aspect  of the ‘ theory.’ How all came to be. Let me be ‘cheeky’ and ask a question. In evolution, where do dinosaurs fit? We in no way are from dinosaurs. We can then step back a bit, dinosaurs existed before the existence of man. The universe was created well before the existence of man.

To understand this we have to look up the original description of ‘day’ which in Genesis is written. The bible was not written in English originally. A day was a period. In the seventh period God rested. His job at creation was complete. All God created was left to exist.

An aura of mystery surrounds the dinosaurs. Where did they come from? Did they evolve? Did they really live millions of years ago? What happened to them? Are there any living today? Has any human being ever seen a live dinosaur?

Children and adults alike are absolutely fascinated by these mysterious monsters. Numerous books and movies have been produced to satisfy a seemingly insatiable hunger for information on these puzzling creatures. The truth of the matter, however, is that there are no real mysteries at all, once you have key information that is not generally known and is withheld from the public.

Come with me as we take a walk through history and uncover some amazing facts that will answer many of your questions about these “terrible lizards.”

Did Dinosaurs Really Exist?

Dinosaurs certainly did roam the Earth in the ancient past! Fossils of dinosaurs have been found all over the world, and their bones are displayed in museums for all to see. Scientists have been able to reconstruct many of their skeletons, so we know much about how they may have looked.

When Were Dinosaurs Found?

The story of their discovery began back in the 1820s, when Gideon Mantell, an English doctor, found some unusual teeth and bones in a quarry. Dr Mantell realized there was something very different about these animal remains, and believed that he had found an entirely new group of reptiles. By 1841, about nine types of these different reptiles had been uncovered, including two called Megalosaurus and Iguanodon.

At this time, a famous British scientist, Dr Richard Owen, coined the name “Dinosauria,” meaning “terrible lizard,” for this is what the huge bones made him think of.

To further examine this feel free to consult:

Even we currently know that the fossilized bones and remains have been found in certain places. Possibly not accessible by the Ark. Thinking of space, would be incredibly impossible to fit them in. More so, we are forced to think of the location of the ark. Remember the creator had ‘tired’ of Earth and behavior of Man that was to be created as caretakers of the world. We have discussed the desire of God to end it all.

We can see that the dinosaurs inhabited certain areas. Man did migrate to these areas. So much needs to be figured out, which it will be. But as we said our existence is paramount.

To further explore being made in His image we were created to be as the Heavenly host. Explains why we have Spirits within which are our true essence. We pointed out Male and Female with different attributes. If we return to the ‘holistic’ view, it is in “function” that the real difference lies.

Here, I will tread lightly on the topic of homosexuality. A big “no go arena.” People were created as they are. As pointed out, there is no difference in Heaven. Things just are, think of this; the definition of Love: non judgemental, believing all things, hoping in all things. First, I will state “judge not!” Why??? That thou be judgestth not. Think about it, it is in the ‘judgement’ role we exist when we view something as wrong. Do these individuals “want” to be ‘anti-culture’? To go against the fabric of society? It is being changed in society. People are what they are. Feel as they feel and do as they do.

Let me ask a question and then leave this well alone. “Are there homosexuals that Love the Lord?” Again as I said, I will politely side step the whole topic. I will end by saying if two individuals have care and dare I say Love for one another and they Love and trust God and pray to Him. Can they be wrong??? I am done.

Chapter 26

Chapter 26

The ‘promised’ land. Do you know what and where that was? Who was it ‘promised’ to? We have shared on this topic. Moses! Yes, Moses.

Let us refocus and see again what the ‘nature’ of Moses was. He was born, should have been killed, God knew him before he was born, saved him from a sure death. We are ‘spared’ his raising. But, he had a temper. Sure thing! When the Egyptian punished the two Isrealites for their disagreement, Moses killed him in anger (follow?) He realized that he would surely be put to death (for his temper and acts) and ran away.

Now we so not want to focus on this, but rather his personality. Despite his ‘ebullient’ personality; he still was close to God. There are many evangelists, prophets, people of God in our day. I do not believe any can say they have the relationship with God that Moses did.

Now, back to our discussion. The main reason Moses did not set foot in the promised land while he was alive was he was himself and at the time did not obey the will of God.

In Exodus, God commands Moses to strike a rock, and promises to make water flow in the desert for the people.

Behold, I will stand before you there on the rock at Horeb, and you shall strike the rock, and water shall come out of it, and the people will drink.” And Moses did so, in the sight of the elders of Israel. (Exodus 17:6 ESV)

Later on, God tells Moses to speak to a rock, promising to make water flow in the desert again. However, Moses strikes the rock again instead of speaking to it. Because of just this one thing, God tells Moses that he will no longer be permitted bring the people into the Promised Land.

“Take the staff, and assemble the congregation, you and Aaron your brother, and tell the rock before their eyes to yield its water. So you shall bring water out of the rock for them and give drink to the congregation and their cattle.”  And Moses took the staff from before the Lord, as he commanded him.  Then Moses and Aaron gathered the assembly together before the rock, and he said to them, “Hear now, you rebels: shall we bring water for you out of this rock?”  And Moses lifted up his hand and struck the rock with his staff twice, and water came out abundantly, and the congregation drank, and their livestock. And the Lord said to Moses and Aaron, “Because you did not believe in me, to uphold me as holy in the eyes of the people of Israel, therefore you shall not bring this assembly into the land that I have given them.”

Numbers 20:8-12

Why was the punishment so harsh for what seems like a small infraction? Was there something greater or more symbolic going on here?

Again, this was a man who personally fellowshipped with the person of God. I mean, he saw God pass him by (remember this?) We should note that God knows all. Maybe God wants you to realize that all these timelines were man-made by people with fixed thoughts and ideas, by people with different circumstances, by people who never even saw you and people who led different lives. Maybe God just wants you to understand that all these deadlines don’t really represent you because they weren’t made for you.

Maybe God just wants you to understand that your life will never be perfect and will never go as planned and you just have to try to love it and love him regardless.

Maybe he’s teaching you how to wait because he wants you to know that you can’t always control your life no matter how hard you try because that’s his job, not yours.

When He selected Moses, it was clear that he was chosen. Let us ‘mosey’ on and see time lines in believers lives to learn a thing or two.

Joseph waited 13 years, Abraham waited 25 years, Moses waited 40 years. More important Jesus waited 30 years! If God is making you wait you are in good company! (I would venture to say, you are in Excellent company.)

Lead me in Your truth and teach me, For You are the God of my salvation; For You I wait all the day.

Psalm 25:5

The eyes of all look to You, And You give them their food in due time. You open Your hand And satisfy the desire of every living thing.

Psalm 145:15-16

Therefore be patient, brethren, until the coming of the Lord The farmer waits for the precious produce of the soil, being patient about it, until it gets the early and late rains. You too be patient; strengthen your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is near.

James 5:7-8

Therefore do not go on passing judgment before the time, but wait until the Lord comes who will both bring to light the things hidden in the darkness and disclose the motives of men’s hearts; and then each man’s praise will come to him from God.

1 Corinthians 4:5

looking for the blessed hope and the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Christ Jesus,

Titus 2:13

so Christ also, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time for salvation without reference to sin, to those who eagerly await Him.

Hebrews 9:28

In the morning, O LORD, You will hear my voice; In the morning I will order my prayer to You and eagerly watch.

Psalm 5:3

And not only this, but also we ourselves, having the first fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting eagerly for our adoption as sons, the redemption of our body.

Romans 8:23

Lots to digest. Go over it again and let your Spirit grow in The Word

To be blessed all our ways! Another share is: O Lord, open thou my lips; and my mouth shall shew forth thy praise.

Psalm 51:15

Our lips shall be opened, let us plus forth His praise! Hallelujah!!! Cam you believe this? The Lord open our lips. This hints at healing the mute!

To touch on some ‘hefty’ sharings, let us move on. It is awesome to study the bible And grasp exactly what it means. We were blessed with spirits. As we have shared, there are even on the Earth; beings of the other realm who are permanent. To explain this more. God placed the planets in their specific orbit, as far as we have been, no two planets have ever collided. We know that it was wisdom that formed the Universe into its order.

These other beings (Angels) were created to exist for always. The have no age, no time. They have a function, they were created to perform a specific duty. In the verse below, though we have mentioned it, we have not focused on it. We stated that the tree of Life was in the garden of Eden. Why didn’t Adam or Eve eat of it?

We have stated that they were ‘learning’ just as we do with each passing day/experience. Prior to Lucifer looking upon The Throne, there was no wrongdoing. All learned and did what they were created for. We have stated that the archangel was placed in authority under God. It affected And effected Lucifer to see himself as a possible ruler. I will point out that The Ultimate I’d God.

God begot Himself into three separate parts. The Spirit (God) communes, guides, leads And directs us. Jesus, He begot, and is/was a key part of Him. Being begotten Jesus new Who had ‘made’ Him. And He in human ‘sense’ was called the ‘Son’ of God. But with all the characteristics.

When God was with the Isrealites, A portion of God led, guided and protected. The people of Israel left Egypt. Is it not wonderful that for 40 years, there clothes and garments were blessed to be!

Deuteronomy 8:4; Deuteronomy 29:5

To focus on our topic and be specific:

And the Lord God said, “The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever.”

Genesis 1:22

Prior we did not know good from evil. Created to learn what to do and not to do. If Adam tripped on a root, he learned what not to do. Being that these would not read well, it was left to us to figure out. I feel that the Angels who have been before the Univerese was created have learned what to do and not to do.

The part that caused imbalance in Heaven was Lucifer felt as he did. No ‘knowledge’ of good and bad was. It was felt that a new existence in an alternate level would be possible. Chances were given, but he remained affixed to the ideas and was cast out of Heaven with a third of the Angels he had taken over to his ‘thoughts’.

Quite a bit to swallow. Lets take a break and pray for understanding.

Chapter 25

Chapter 25

How do we find balance? What is balance? Are you balanced?  In reading the scripture, thanks should be on our lips every step of the way. We have shared on thanksgiving so many times. Did you thank God today? I ask because it might have been overlooked. You know what? Let us go back over the course of the day after and think about all the “It happened.”, “I am so lucky (blessed) that could have happened, but it didn’t.”, “I have a job.”, “Wow, I am home! I wonder how many people ended up in the hospital or morgue, at least I didn’t.” Even if you were at the hospital, you are home or on your way home (so much to say on this home could mean so much.) Don’t take it wrong, if you live these it is your residence, your hone. I was in a way referring to our final home. I for one always point things out as they come to me.

What will you say to Methuselah when you meet him? “Wow!?” I am sure that will be in your Spirit to say. How about to Jesus? I mean we know He is there preparing a place for you. Man! 2000+ years later??? Wow! Must be so custom made! Which they will be, I got to thinking about the “domiciles” Angels don’t have ‘domiciles’, yet they have been there for eternity. They are! We did not here of the “residence” of Angels. They were created for a purpose and they fulfill their role

God had the Universe in the physical to create and He did! We have already discussed this Sun for light and warmth. Earth so perfectly placed that all remain in their place. Planets, moors all in a linked orbit! Wow! He created and saw it was good! And as we said “finally on the ‘sixth’ day/period God created Man” as a watcher and caretaker of His creation. That was taken, Jesus earned it back, and now is seated as King of all at the right hand of our Father.

Awesome things have been done, No?

When it comes to praying (I am aware that we have spoken about this before, it is wonderful to draw a HUGE line under this to highlight its importance.) We pray and ask, at times we may not receive or see results in the here and now. Not a reason to stop believing but to give thanks for all God has done and is doing. Who can give an example of when a prayer answer was detained? Anyone???

What happened in Daniel? To be specific who is Daniel? We have heard of Daniel in the lions den? What else makes him a man of God to ‘revisit’?

“On the twenty-fourth day of the first month, as I was standing on the bank of the great river, the Tigris, I looked up and there before me was a man dressed in linen, with a belt of fine gold from Uphaz around his waist. His body was like topaz, his face like lightning, his eyes like flaming torches, his arms and legs like the gleam of burnished bronze, and his voice like the sound of a multitude.

I, Daniel, was the only one who saw the vision; those who were with me did not see it, but such terror overwhelmed them that they fled and hid themselves. So I was left alone, gazing at this great vision; I had no strength left, my face turned deathly pale and I was helpless. Then I heard him speaking, and as I listened to him, I fell into a deep sleep, my face to the ground.

A hand touched me and set me trembling on my hands and knees. He said, “Daniel, you who are highly esteemed, consider carefully the words I am about to speak to you, and stand up, for I have now been sent to you.” And when he said this to me, I stood up trembling.

Then he continued, “Do not be afraid, Daniel. Since the first day that you set your mind to gain understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come in response to them. But the prince of the Persian kingdom resisted me twenty-one days. Then Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, because I was detained there with the king of Persia. Now I have come to explain to you what will happen to your people in the future, for the vision concerns a time yet to come.” “

Daniel 5:4-14

Awesome, no? Our prayers are known before we utter them. As stated parallel dimensions exist. The physical and the spiritual. Let me ask, in the garden of Eden, how did God commune with Adam? He was here in Spirit, obviously apparent to Adam and Eve.

In the Isrealites journey from Egypt to the promised land was God not with them? We live in a parallel Universe, I could go on. One final example (which we have discussed) at the time of the birth of the Hunan form of Jesus, there was fan fare in Heaven which was seen by those who were outside the city limits-shepherds in the field by night. And when Jesus resisted temptation the Angels in parallel came and ministered to Him.

Parallel existences; we have gone over a myriad of examples. What I stated is that we are on a grand stage in the Spiritual aspect of things. Our thoughts, desires and actions are known. If we think something, do we have to do it??? The answer is “Absolutely not!” Eve was tempted in the garden, seeing the serpent (the most wily of all creatures) eating of the fruit of the tree man had been told not to partake of. In essence we died! We have a limit, no? As pointed out Man had no limits prior. We read The Word and see whay age many were.

It was pointed out that Adam was created as the sole caretaker of the garden. He named and cared for all. When created God had expressed His desire that perhaps Adam would be in an agreeable state with the beasts/animals here on Earth. This was well before Eve was created. Animals were seen to thrive well before Adam as put into a deep sleep and Eve was created.

On this topic much can be said. The first ‘rules’ were given to Adam and not to Eve. When Eve was ‘tempted’ where was Adam? He could not have been too far. Because she shared with him of the fruit of the tree of good and evil. ‘Time’ did not exist yet. God created the Heavens and the Earth with a thin veil between.

Chapter 24

Chapter 24

“But while I am here in the world, I am the light of the world.”

– John 9:5

He is the light! He lived (as man) am exemplary Life. Full of examples of the way we should be. He earned the Kingship! We all have heard of “seizing power”? Well He did not ‘seize’ it! He earned it by living an exemplary Life and dying (in the flesh) a criminals death.

So, the words here are not “complex” at all, But simply point to what is. Where is He now? In the Spirit, He is with you. We already spoke of the parallel ‘existences’ our world and the Spirit world. They run parallel. We are here, and so is Christ. Not in the flesh (been here, done that.) But in the Spirit seated on His throne at the right of God.

I have contemplated this. So many ways if He allowed Himself to be ‘had’ by Satan at the time of the 3 temptations, then what? We know the existences run parallel. In the Spirit world there were witnesses. As discussed, He was taken to the parapet and asked to fling Himself down. We would not be surprised if Angels came and did bear Him up. However, being a part of who had spoken those words. He said simply ‘to God alone you bow your knee.’ What a scene in the Spiritual. He had enough and dismissed Satan for that time from His presence.

Again, so much to learn. We touched on the fact that a former head Angel of God knew all that was said by God. The same way he knew what was spoken in the garden “Of the fruit of this tree, ye shall partake not.” We touched on this. We recently shared that Eve was not present when the commandment was given.

As I shared, so much comes to mind. The tree of Life was there. They could have eaten of it and they would have the same properties as heavenly beings- Eternal existence. The same as Angels have, which is why they were cast from the garden. At the beginning of time, look how long people lived! Not hard to see that time has always been time. Days and nights. There is as we said a parallel Spiritual world. No tiredness, no days or nights- simply existence. This I know is hard to grasp. But even while we sleep, there is activity in the Spirit realm.

Second Peter 1:3 says, “According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue.”

The only thing we are lacking is knowledge.

Spiritual Warfare Bible Study

The Battle belongs to the Lord…but You are the Soldier!

Introduction

To understand the battle, we need to begin with acknowledging that we are in a war. Battles make up smaller components of the bigger picture. By definition, battles involve combat between two persons, between factions, between armies and they consist of any type of “extended contest, struggle, or controversy” (Webster-Merriam).  As Christians, we are in a spiritual battle of some sort on a daily basis. In warfare, battles are fought on different fronts, for different reasons, and with varying degrees of intensity. The same is true in spiritual warfare. Our spiritual battles and warfare are real, even though we cannot physically see the attacker. But, we can educate ourselves on how the battles are fought and how they impact our lives on a daily basis.

We have to ask ourselves, “Why do we even want to fight?” It will do us no good to educate ourselves on the battle if we see no reason for the fight. War is very controversial today in the physical realm. Those attitudes, beliefs and convictions will transfer over to the spiritual realm. However, in the spiritual realm, there is a battle going on regardless of our opinion. We are either victors or victims. Jesus has come and conquered. The war is already won in the heavens. Jesus told us in Matthew 28:18 that, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.” We now have the privilege of having an eternal relationship with God. Many of us enter into that covenant of salvation by grace.  But the Matthew 28:18 verse is not only about our salvation; it is also about our every day victory, which adds up to victorious living in Christ. Every day victory is achieved by knowing, believing and understanding the battles that we are enduring daily, regardless if we are passive or active in the battles. Do you want all that God has for you on this earth right now, or do you want to wait until you get to heaven to receive the victory and blessings?

We have them in the here and now! Stretch out and receive!

Shout It From The Rooftops!

‘Let the redeemed of the Lord say so.’ Psalm 107:2 NKJV

No matter how badly you have failed, God will give you another chance.

After Jonah had disobeyed God, spent three days in the belly of a whale, and been regurgitated on the shore close to where he was sent, the Bible says, ‘The word of the Lord came unto Jonah the second time.’ (Jonah 3:1 KJV) King David’s sins were front-page tabloid material. Yet God restored him, and he wrote: ‘He… brought me up out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay… set my feet upon a rock, and established my steps. He has put a new song in my mouth—praise to our God; many will see it and fear, and will trust in the Lord.’ (Psalm 40:2–3 NKJV)

Look, upon others if and when you lack. Good examples? Repeat them. Lessons to learn? Be notified and taught!

When God restores you, it doesn’t matter who’s fighting against you. When He raises you up, no one can keep you down. If God has redeemed you—say so. Nobody else can tell your story. Nobody else knows what God has done for you. Nobody else knows how far you’ve come. Nobody else knows what you’ve been through. But you do—you know it was only by God’s grace that you survived.

So don’t allow the devil to steal your joy and your testimony. It may have taken you longer than everybody else, but God has given you the victory.

The devil would love to silence you. Why? Because when you tell people what God has done for you, someone else will be set free. The Bible says, ‘Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom He has redeemed from the hand of the enemy.’ So the word for you today is: shout it from the rooftops!

We have a prayer (and a half! Hallelujah! Being God’s family now, we claim this.) When we were ‘apart’ from His people (which we are now!) Moses was asked to teach Aaron and his sons how to bless God’s family (that is us folks!) It is ours now, as Jesus has placed us under the family tent!

“ ‘ “The Lord bless you

and keep you;

the Lord make his face shine on you

and be gracious to you;

the Lord turn his face toward you

and give you peace.”

Number 6: 25,26

Enjoy our brief stroll through the garden of realization.

When the two ears are put side by side it forms the shape of the heart. lnterestingly, the word ‘ear’ sits right in the middle of the word ‘heart’ (h-ear-t). The ear is the way to the heart. So, if you want someone’s heart, learn to listen to him/her. If you want God’s heart, learn to listen to His Spirit in you.

I was reading a life-affirming article the final key we see is the most important:

The final entry: A balanced life is your spiritual side. This could be anything from taking a walk in the woods to making a trip to church on Sunday-whatever fills up your spiritual cup. This is how we renew ourselves when we’re down-and it’s something that can be easily neglected. If you score low here, make the time to rethink your connection to God, nature, or whatever. You’ll feel refreshed and ready to tackle the world.

To read it in full:

So, I will admit that I spend time building self. It is key. Let us continue in all we do.

Month 2: day 14 onward

Day 14

A little tidbit:

The LORD executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed. Psalm

103:6

Do you feel oppressed? Understandably, this can lead to depression. Check this out Oppression=Depression, anyone paying attention? This is an x=y equation!

But, we have a verse, a promise we can hold on to- Tightly!!!

Day 15

Bless The LORD! O my soul and all that is within me bless His holy name.

He is All Mighty forever, He is over all, He made all, knows all; by His grace we have all we need to praise Him, worship Him and bring our requests, needs and wants before Him.

Amazingly, in His presence we have comfort, fulfillment and peace-a peace that passes all understanding! It makes no sense to us! We working hard and seeking to do His will are supplied according to our needs, not ‘wants’. He supplies all your needs according to hiscendless riches in Glory, Hallelujah! Again, I point out what is clear needs! We need to like Job, work the land (hard at our jobs/responsibilities/assignments) glorify God as The center of our Lives and in our Life, He erects a fence about us, Amen

We touched on asking and not receiving, anyone know why?

“When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures.”

James 4:3

For real! This is in The Word.

Father Lord, at times we may ask,

and not receive,

touch our Spirit with Your Spirit,

that we might ask according to Your will

In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen

Day 16

As the deer longs for streams of water, so I long for you, O God.

– Psalms 42:1

A hunger, a thirst, a need. We in God are satiated with His presence, His fullness; in Him, we are satisfied and made complete.

Heavenly Father, thank You the completion we experience through You,

fill us today

go before us

be glorified in all our actions in Jesus’ name, Amen

Day 17

We spoke of an absence of sacrifice to God. Living in His will is sacrificing the flesh to Live in the Spirit. I am aware we spoke of the lack of need for and of sacrifice to honor the LORD. king David said it best:

Blessed is that man that maketh the LORD his trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies. In this even we are spoken to, untruths, even “half-truths” are outside the realm of righteousness. Do we feel that the truth will bare us? Better to be born than wrapped in a garment of untruth. It defiled all! Imagine, if your friends, family, loved ones were to find you out- what pain, disappointment. We are on a continuous stage, our ‘secret’ acts are viewed by witnesses on both sides. Imagine this “To believers, God was entrusted your care to a guardian angel!” That Angel, praise God always is witness to your acts. More So, God knows the heart; your thoughts. “The eyes of the Lord are everywhere,

keeping watch on the wicked and the good.” Proverbs15:3

God searches the Spirit! If you were to think thoughts what you ‘hold in your heart’ is known! (Romans 8:27) For who knows a person’s thoughts except their own spirit within them? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. 1 Corinthians2:11 Even if I am wrong, your memory is a record of all you see, do and think! Are you ready to give account? Not many are. Search your hearts, purge your Spirits, turn to God. Might seem a difficult task. Dwell on this!

Many, O LORD my God, are Thy wonderful works which Thou hast done, and Thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto Thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered.

Sacrifice and offering thou didst not desire; mine ears hast Thou opened to hear Your Word and walk in Your way: burnt offering and sin offering hast thou not required, Thou has required Your trust of my Spirit, in You do I trust Lord, Amen Psalm 40:4-6

Paraphrased by leading in Jesus’ name. For none shall add or delete from His Word.

“And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.” Revelation 22:19

Hallelujah! We are in The Word. Let us pray:

Thank You Father for this day, thank You for Your grace and Love. Your Love means everything to me. I am blessed to have you in my Life. Hallelujah for Jesus, we praise You for Your Spirit residing in us. Father, help me conform to Your word that I may be blessed Living Your will, I pray in Jesus’ name, Amen

Day 18

Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.

Psalm 103:1

Now that we have discussed “Blessing The Lord” our Spirits are free to shout Hallelujah to God for saving me! O we shall shout Hallelujah, we shall shout Hallelujah for His mercy is forever and has been through the ages!

Lord, we bless You and magnify You. Your name is awesome! Father, we praise You and raise our voices before you. You are our all. Thank You for Your Love, when You adopted the Isrealites as Your children, as Your nation, we were but outsiders. Father, You sent your only begotten Son, a part of You to rectify what was, and how things were. Alleluia for this day, this time, this blessing Father, through You, we have all. Father, hold me close, this I am sure sounds selfish, but allow Your light to shine through me and touch those who stand around, in Jesus’ name, Amen

Day 19

Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young (or young in The faith), but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in Love, in faith and in purity.  And devote yourself to the public reading of Scripture, to preaching and to teaching.

Be diligent in these matters; give yourself wholly to them, so that everyone may see your progress.  Watch your life and doctrine closely. Persevere in them, because if you do, you will save both yourself and your hearers.

1 Timothy 4:12-16 (paraphrased)

Day 20

Then I will rejoice in the LORD. I will be glad because He rescues me.

– Psalms 35:9

Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!

– Phillipians 4:4

We are touched by so many pointers to Rejoice, pray, praise! Let this be a day of giving to The LORD what He deserves from the bottom of our hearts.

And as you do, be blessed, IJN

Day 21

Promise time! You can call me “The Promise guru.” But, seriously each page we turn or listen to we are blessed, I guess for one who share a (like you) they will be called “sharers.” But our job is to share, for each soul won to the Kingdom we build up our reward.

“And He said to them, ‘Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.’” Mark 16:15 NKJV

“And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.” Matthew 24:14 NKJV

“Declare His glory among the nations, His wonders among all peoples.”Psalms 96:3 NKJV

“Then I saw another angel flying in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach to those who dwell on the earth—to every nation, tribe, tongue, and people— saying with a loud voice, ‘Fear God and give glory to Him, for the hour of His judgment has come; and worship Him who made heaven and earth, the sea and springs of water.’”

Revelation 14:6-7 NKJV

It goes on and on. We are supposed to spread the gospel. In my usual manner, I will gently ask, have you spread The Word today? Do your actions spread the word? Do the words from your mouth, your thoughts, feelings, your whole self spread the word? We must live by example.

I just thought I’d share a two pronged message. This definitely leans on “Live and Let live.” We must show example; let us read:

“Those who do wickedly against the covenant He shall corrupt with flattery; but the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits.”

Daniel 11:32 NKJV

As I said, this is a two pronged promise. Essentially the Rich get richer and the believers more blessed and their needs are supplied according to His Riches in endless glory. We have discussed this, if His glory is so GREAT that mortal man would be slain to gaze upon it. There is no limit to His glory. It astounds the mind, but what is the most expensive article that we know of? No, not gold, sapphire or ruby’s they do not come close! Let us take a look:

Painite — $9,000 per gram.

Taaffeite — $20,000 per gram or $4,000 per carat.

Tritium — $30,000 per gram.

Diamond — $55,000 per gram.

Californium — $25-27 million per gram.

Antimatter — $62.5 trillion per gram.

Bonus: Jade stone — $170 million.

Mind you, these are all naturally occurring! They were placed here on Earth, made by our Father! If we can run these down, His extent is unimaginable! Unimaginable!!! Ask and you shall receive, seek and ye shall find. Knock and the door shall be opened.

I will state that some might shy away if and when such is bestowed on them. With what you have now; Do you give to the poor? What examples have you set? Blessings are pending action! They have been poured out! Act so that you may receive!

It is ‘strange’ to see people sitting, waiting for the Heavens to open up and pot blessings down. Yes, The Bible says “Be still and know I am God.” Psalm 46:10

It does not say “Be lazy and hope.” We read just a tad content that encourages work, first we read if you don’t sow, you do not reap. Let us read:

For even when we were with you, we used to give you this order: if anyone is not willing to work, then he is not to eat, either.

2 Thessalonians 3:10

But if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for those of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.

1 Timothy 5:8

Then the LORD God took the man and put him into the garden of Eden to cultivate it and keep it.

Genesis 2:15

An overseer, then, must be above reproach, the husband of one wife, temperate, prudent, respectable, hospitable, able to teach,

1 Timothy 3:2

and to make it your ambition to lead a quiet life and attend to your own business and work with your hands, just as we commanded you, so that you will behave properly toward outsiders and not be in any need.

1 Thessalonians 4:11-12

Then he went up from there to Bethel; and as he was going up by the way, young lads came out from the city and mocked him and said to him, “Go up, you baldhead; go up, you baldhead!” When he looked behind him and saw them, he cursed them in the name of the LORD. Then two female bears came out of the woods and tore up forty-two lads of their number.

2 Kings 2:23-24

As we mentioned, there is work to be done! For the BIGGEST exanple, let us read:

sin causes a distinction in the roles of men and women that was not previously there. In other words, in the Evangelical Feminists view, prior to the fall man and woman shared total equality not only in value but in roles also. The fall, then, is considered the culprit of why today so many people see women as inferior to men and, in the feminists view, Jesus Christ came to redeem what has been lost at the fall and restore women to equality with men in every way (e.g., women can now be pastors and equally the spiritual head of the home, etc.).

However, it does not seem to be immediately obvious that the fall is what brought about gender distinctions. Consider the following from Genesis 3:16 where God is describing the curse of sin and its effect on the relationship between men and women (husband and wife). “To the woman he said, “I will surely multiply your pain in childbearing; in pain you shall bring forth children. Your desire shall be for your husband, and he shall rule over you.”

Particularly we look at the statement, “Your desire shall be for your husband, and he shall rule over you.” This, the Evangelical Feminist would say, is where gender differentiation comes from, the curse of sin. When God pronounced this judgment due to sin it was then that women started to be deemed different from men. But is this really as clear as they make it to be?

Please feel free to read more at https://carm.org/about-gender-roles-equality-genesis

As stated, where credit is due it is given. A whole couple of sermons/teachings/sharing can be done on this and when we get to relationships, we will go indepth.

Wow! A whole teaching and we just started. I will let this sink in and we can take it from here next round.

Day 22

“Why is she/he acting that way?”

“Crazier things have happened.”

“They just seem so ‘calm.’ Which I know I wouldn’t be if I was in their shoes.”

But you are not, are you? Resting on the promises which come to be is the key.

“We put our hope in the LORD. He is our help and our shield.”

– Psalms 33:20

So, we have a hope that cannot be erased! A shield that protects against all. We are believers!

I will praise thee, O Lord my God, with all my heart: and I will glorify Thy name for evermore. One thing follows another in The Word and in faith, we believe and it is! For great is Thy mercy toward me: and Thou hast delivered my soul from the lowest hell.

Psalm 86:12,13

Day 22

As the deer pants for streams of water,

so my soul pants for you, my God.

My soul thirsts for God, for the living God.

When can I go and meet with God?

Psalm 42:1-2

When you give God your all, suddenly we develop a hunger, a thirst for Him. No wonder the apostle Paul said: “I am torn between the two: I desire to depart and be with Christ, which is better by far…”

Phil 1:23

A hunger? Yup! Let us run through a few well placed verses. But first The Isrealites in the desert experienced what their forefathers or anyone in His-story had ever experienced-Manna. That is a worldly hunger. What we are talking about here is a Spiritual hunger. Once you have really tasted…There is no satisfying the hungert, we dine at The table and by His grace are blessed and filled by dining and feeding. Yup! Greed is not wrong here. If you have tasted of the goodness, it is hard to get your fill!

Lets see what The Word says:

“Like newborn babies, long for the pure milk of the word, so that by it you may grow in respect to salvation…”

1 Peter 2:2

“I, the LORD, am your God, Who brought you up from the land of Egypt; Open your mouth wide and I will fill it.”

Psalm 81:10

Like we just shared. But, we go on and we see this expressed so completely:

“He humbled you and let you be hungry, and fed you with manna which you did not know, nor did your fathers know, that He might make you understand that man does not live by bread alone, but man lives by everything that proceeds out of the mouth of the LORD.”

Deuteronomy 8:3

“Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.”

Matthew 5:6

“For the bread of God is that which comes down out of heaven, and gives life to the world.” Then they said to Him, “Lord, always give us this bread.” Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; he who comes to Me will not hunger, and he who believes in Me will never thirst.”

John 6:33-35

And we end with the appropriate verse for this share:

“O God, You are my God; I shall seek You earnestly; My soul thirsts for You, my flesh yearns for You, In a dry and weary land where there is no water.”

Psalm 63:1

I think we had best salve this hunger with a word of prayer.

Father LORD, You are our everything. The more we embark to taste of Your AWESOME richness and GLORY, by Your Grace, the hungrier we get. Wanting nothing But You in each second of our beings. Hallelujah! We have tasted, we want more. We feed in Your fields knowing that as an AWESOME shepherd like David was. We need not worry for Your hand is over us, we praise You. Father, beside Thee, there is none. Fill us with Your Spirit, guide us with Your Love. You are EVERYTHING! Our beginning, our end, our all in Jesus’ name, Amen

Day 23

At times we might wonder, but it has been said, we are blessed, blessed indeed:

“Brothers and sisters:

The Spirit comes to the aid of our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we ought, but the Spirit Himself intercedes with inexpressible groanings.

And The One who searches hearts

knows what is the intention of the Spirit,

because He intercedes for the holy ones

according to God’s will.”

Romans 8:26-27

Being in the Spirit is awesome with The Spirit within us. Our moans and sighs are conveyed in a form we at times do not understand. As said above, we are blessed and blessed indeed. In Jesus’ name we have received The fullness of God- His Spirit! When the Isrealites were ‘escaping’ from Egypt to the promised land, they had “by day the Lord went ahead of them in a pillar of cloud to guide them on their way and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light, so that they could travel by day or night.” Exodus13:21

God led them, but in Exodus 33:20 God says to Moses, “But,” He said, “you cannot see My face, for no one may see Me and live.” If God led them, it was His Spirit, for they gazed upon it and it led them! Alleluia!!! We have the same Spirit of The Most High existing in us.

I know a lot is being shared, but knowing this can and shall we do wrong? To iron out the creases in understanding “Do we know what we have within?” Not only that, but our hearts are known. As shared, as heavy as it may be “with God there are absolutely no secrets”, I must sau έτσι είναι to this for ‘so it is’.

Day 24

Was reading and was touched by this, a prayer to our Father:

There is no god besides you who has the care of all, that You need show you have not unjustly condemned.

For Your might is the source of justice;

Your mastery over all things makes You lenient to all.

For You show Your might when the perfection of Your power is disbelieved;

and in those who know You, You rebuke temerity.

And for those who need a refresher course:

Definition of temerity

1: Unreasonable or foolhardy contempt of danger or opposition :  rashness, recklessness

2: A rash or reckless act

But though You are master of might, You judge with clemency,

and with much lenience You govern us;

for power, whenever You will, attends You.

And You taught Your people, by these deeds,

that those who are just must be kind;

and You gave Your children good ground for hope that You would permit repentance for their sins.

Wisdom 12:13,16-19

Day 26

We have been taught to “Let Love and faithfulness never leave you.” We read ‘faithfulness’, what is this? It is true, devoted, staunch following of God’s will in our lives. Being Faithful, constant, loyal with the qualities of stability, dependability, and devotion.

Faithful implies long-continued and steadfast fidelity to whatever one is bound to by a pledge, duty, or obligation. In commiting our way to Christ we have taken a HUGE step in faith. And we pray: “Bind us together LORD; with a chord that cannot be broken.”

We must bind Love and faithfulness around our necks,

We must write them on the tablet of our hearts.

Then we will win favor and a good name

in the sight of God and man.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart

and lean not on your own understanding;

in all your ways submit to Him,

and He will make your paths straight.

Proverbs 3: 3-6

Day 27

We have looked to define “Blessed”, are you blessed? I have to ask. What does that mean? Any one??? I can stop here, and a few definitions might come forth. But, we will move on- I have runvaccross many definitions:

1. To be in The Family of Christ.

2. To be forgiven and washed clean.

3. When all ‘old’ things have passed away, and we witness in our Lives that all things are become new. Mind you, I did not say ‘like’-new, The Word says NEW (Full-Stop)

I could go on, but wanted to share even more, a weekend treat. I have to share, we have heard “Meditate on The Word.” Do you??? I will share some mediation-ial (as in functional/practical/useful) verses:

“Blessed are those

whose transgressions are forgiven,

whose sins are covered. Meaning as Christians, Children of The most High, we are blessed.

Blessed is the one whose sin the Lord will never count against them.”

So, in effect we are all blessed. Uhh! “You don’t want to be blessed?” I think I can guess your answer. We will leave it at that. We are blessed! Blessed to be Children of the most High and start to realize why we are here. When I say that, I think-we have purpose in our actions School, so we can learn; Work, so we can earn…. But, Life??? So, we can Live. But why??? I can ask, what is your purpose in Life? Do you know??? Yes, I have asked this numerou times! Trust me, I will ask again and again. When someone gets up and says “To do His will and be blessed doing it!” I will say “Awesome! But weren’t you blessed before you started doing His will?”

Homework y’all, something to meditate on! Get busy!!! AND stay awesomely blessed!!! Now! I can say that and not have people say “What does he mean?”

We will discuss this more over time-Have an awesome weekend!

Day 28

For His anger lasts only a moment,

but His favor lasts a lifetime;

weeping may stay for the night,

but rejoicing comes in the morning.

Psalm 30:4,5

I will be honest, I dreamt of this verse and ‘read’ in my sleepy fog, “His Angels….” It was amazing that I thought for a second It said “His ‘Angel’s’ last only a minute….’ In my sleepy fog, I quickly in my browser typed “His “Angel”….” To see what it could possibly mean. Noe to explain… I was ‘soundly’ asleep and it popped into my head. I thought it said in my ‘dream’ “His Angel….” Quickly I awoke to God’s Glory (I also started ‘dreaming’ of something else, not to His glory….)

In my “half-asleep” status, I typed on my phone browser (I will be honest, by His grace many times I read The Word on my phone-Alleluia. This morning it was in my hand!!!! And I know I did not fall asleep that way.) We do have guardian Angels! In my ‘dream’, I argued and said “If His Angels last only a moment, it is for the good they do. I argued further, His guardian Angel is always there! We are on a Huge stage!” Then, I in my dream said “Satan has been for always since he was created, why would even he last but for a moment….” I shot up, wide awake and put “Angels” last but for a moment, it kept coming up “anger” and I wondered if I mistyped it, sat bolt upright, the ‘fleeting’ improper thought had since simply been erased from my memory. I definitely gave thanks and praise to our Father for waking me up in such a Loving way, to prove that His Word did not say “His Angel last but a moment…”

Proof that we do have a divine Spirit of recollection with us. I awoke and won the ‘argument’. The Bible saying “His anger…” With an “R” not an “L”. It turns out that I was ‘arguing’ The Word in my ‘dream’, being absolutely sure The Word did not say what I had ‘dreamt’ it to say! Everything lined up to His glory.

Thank God! Praise Jesus, thank You Holy Spirit for awaking me from that ‘dream’! People, I learned a lot…. A whole lot, to His glory…. One of the reasons I have encouraged knowing The Word in your heart is if in your dream (or in a wide awake state) you experience an ‘argument’ to the contrary of what your Spirit knows does not follow through, you have the ground to stand on and bring the ‘deck’ crashing down, with you standing there with and in the pride of The Holy Spirit prompting.

I am aware this is a rather long “Good Morning!” But awaking on that note, I wanted to share. Have an awesome day, to His glory, AMEN!

Day 29

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. Philippians 4:6

“For nothing??? You mean I can…”

“Now hold on! Wait a second. It is stating that in the Spiritual you should keep all commands and we can express yourself in Spirit and in truth….”

“O so you mean in that way we should be careful for nothing and in the Spirit know that we are already on a/the stage, so be free to express ourselves with the knowledge of who God is?”

“Follow it through though “In every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.”

“I get it, this has to do with ourcl relationship with God The Father! We should be cautious in nothing while asking….”

“Kinda! You can ask for a million bucks, but if it’s not in His will; Uhhh! You can ask as hard as you want. But remember, God knows everything. I mean, He made The Universe around us…don’t get me started…I feel a sermon coming on.”

“Preach, preach, preach… Or should I say “Teach, teach, teach!!!””

“I am so done with you! I gotta go study! Be well!”

Day 30

What would Jesus do?

“Hmmm! He wouldn’t check that person out, it might be judging! Or is it?”

“I really can’t stand this person (judge, judge, judge…and jury too.)”

I wonder what Jesus would do. I am a new creation, a brand new individual. Things are different….

Hold on! Wait a minute!!! “You are under ‘house’ arrest! Hmmm! What does The Scripture say? Just checking!”

“Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus!”

Philippians 2:5

“Does that maybe ring a bell?”

“Hey! That’s not fair!!! The same mind??? He was The Son of God! A part of God! You ‘people’ always quote “The only and I repeat only begotten Son of God!”

Let me try and break it down more distinctly and Jesus said to His disciples: “I must work the works of Him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work. As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”

‭‭John‬ ‭9:4-5‬ ‭KJV‬‬

And He has given us a key example to follow. Let me ask you a couple of questions. You are on trial here!.

1. Are you ever impatient? Let me clarify. Do you get tired of ‘waiting’ for something? Ma’am/Sir, not a specific thing-Anything.

Time to move on to the next question, perhaps I will in the meantime let you think of your friends, family members, that guy/g’yal at work, at the store…wherever. Let’s let that sink in!

“Before the next question: The mindset of Jesus is what we are talking about.” Did He ever hit anybody? Speak harshly? Funny, even when He had a discourse with Satan, He did not tell! Only put him in the right place Scripturally.

“Yeah, yeah after the third temptation, He rebuked Satan, and Satan left Him for a season.” Once again our example.

We will do away with the ‘court questions’ for now. I will ask an even simpler question. “Have you been blessed with The Holy Spirit?” I know that can be a ‘touchy’ subject, but I am asking.

You know what? After Jesus left, The Holy Spirit was sent, and more than 2000 years is still with us. Have you received IT/HIM/The Holy Spirit into your life?

Quite interesting, the disciples and the early believers were ‘hiding’, when The Holy Spirit came upon them, they could keep quiet no more. Tongues of firecsat upon their heads (hence the term “Speaking in tongues.”) I am aware that we are yet to discuss this, but this sharing is that in our lives, our walk we should be like Jesus.

Be blessed y’all, we broke that down recently. “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.”

Matthew 5:6

Just as a refresher, but I am challenging you to find out and share what it means. Are you blessed?

Day 31

In The name of Jesus. Why??? “Are you people crazy!”

“Well, crazy we might be, but that is crazy about Jesus! Well stirred up, excited, in Love with!”

“Why????”

“Let me point a thing or two out, right quick…”

“Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Philippians 2:5-11

“Every knee, here I simply shrug!”

Have an awesome day y’all. Be blessed!
