synonyms:holy, sacred, hallowed, consecrated, sanctified, ordained, canonized, beatified.

We can say: “A blessed place”

Endowed with divine favor and protection.

“blessed are the meek” We shall discuss this shortly.

synonyms:favored, fortunate, lucky, privileged, enviable….

“a beautiful city, steeped in history and blessed with huge sandy beaches”

Blessed; plural noun:

1. Those who live with God in heaven.

A key reason we defined it is what follows:

Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of Heaven.

Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.

Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.

Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. Amen
