Which is easier? To say/do? Can we do either? What is faith?

We have discussed “Faithing” things into and out of our lives. Are we ‘right’ with God?

One step further; what is required? That is simple- it is free! We are given and it is “costless”/ totally free! In times of need, where is your faith?

“Jesus stepped into a boat, crossed over and came to his own town. Some men brought to him a paralyzed man, lying on a mat. When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the man, “Take heart, son; your sins are forgiven.”
At this, some of the teachers of the law said to themselves, “This fellow is blaspheming!”
Knowing their thoughts, Jesus said, “Why do you entertain evil thoughts in your hearts?5 Which is easier: to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Get up and walk’? 6 But I want you to know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins.” So he said to the paralyzed man, “Get up, take your mat and go home.”  Then the man got up and went home.  When the crowd saw this, they were filled with awe; and they praised God, who had given such authority to man.”
Matthew 9:1-8

But, check this out: “God did extraordinary miracles through Paul.” Are you used yet? Ready/Willing to be used? With Paul who had been against those who called on The LORD, “handkerchiefs and aprons that had touched him were taken to the sick, and their illnesses were cured and the evil spirits left them.” Acts 19:12
Some Jews who went around driving out evil spirits tried to invoke the name of the Lord Jesus over those who were demon-possessed. They would say, “In the name of the Jesus whom Paul preaches, I command you to come out.”
Seven sons of Sceva, a Jewish chief priest, were doing this.
One day the evil spirit answered them, “Jesus I know, and Paul I know about, but who are you?”
Then the man who had the evil spirit jumped on them and overpowered them all. He gave them such a beating that they ran out of the house naked and bleeding.
Acts 19:13-16

Many things are to be garnered from this. Again, I ask are you used? Do you let yourself be used?
Be careful! What you may aim to do can backfire! We see yet another example of the authority of The Father Mark 5:1-20, Luke 8:26-39. What power/authority do you have through God?
Jesus said: “And I will do whatever you ask in My name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. You may ask me for anything in My name, and I will do it.” (John 14:13-14)
All of a sudden, it becomes crystal clear, but complex. What we do depends solely on us. Are we right? We can discuss this Any way/Many ways. ALL come around to the same point. Things occur in the Spiritual realm that we at times have not a clue about. One reason we are asked to read “Stories” of His-story, is evident. What has been done has already been done!
“What has been will be again,
what has been done will be done again;
there is nothing new under the sun.
Is there anything of which one can say,
“Look! This is something new”?
It was here already, long ago;
it was here before our time.”
Ecclesiastes 1:9,10

Yes, so many things may have occurred, they will occur again. The prophets did, Jesus did, the Apostles did, some of us do! Stand right! Some of us do! Do! In Him, through Him, you are covered. Do, that God can be glorified!

God wants to use you! That is why you are called. Do you think you were born when and where you were by chance? We live on a globe. The sun circles it, night and day come and go. Repetition reigns supreme. Many people claim and earn money doing it! It is pointed out in The Word that He spoke and it was done. Remember Jesus said:
“Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.
And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.”
John 12:12-14

I point out again that what has happened will happen again. God is searching for those to use:
“There is no one who does good.
God looks down from Heaven
on all mankind to see if there are any who understand, any who seek God.”
Psalm 53:1b,2

Secret? Seek God with your entire body, mind and Spirit for:
“May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.” 1 Thessalonians 5:23

“Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.
You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.
I will be found by you,” declares the Lord, “and will bring you back from captivity.
I will gather you from all the nations and places where I have banished you,” declares the Lord, “and will bring you back to the place from which I carried you into exile.”
Jeremiah 29:12-14

Y’all, being the ‘New’ nation of Isreal, Jesus having paid the price for our extradition, we are in an awesome place!

One last example of what we have been given authority to do. The reason I state fact, is it is fact, Amen!
“Now a certain man was there who had an infirmity thirty-eight years.  When Jesus saw him lying there, and knew that he already had been in that condition a long time, He said to him, “Do you want to be made well?”
The sick man answered Him, “Sir, I have no man to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up; but while I am coming, another steps down before me.”
Jesus said to him, “Rise, take up your bed and walk.”  And immediately the man was made well, took up his bed, and walked.
We see what happened after which points to no time, season or reason to be healed, ni incantations, no works, money, belongings, sacrifice need be made! Awe Some to see people healed. I will not stand ignorant of some who ‘fake it’.

This goes on and on y’all. Look it up, it is there. However, Jesus said “Greater works than I do, shall you do…” That God may be glorified. We were not created debilitated or crippled. Many are congenital, some secondary to events, accidents, lack of appropriate focus.
Let us focus on what is right! Our Father in Heaven, Who does all. In Him We can truly glorify His essence! Be used!

“And that day was the Sabbath. The Jews therefore said to him who was cured, “It is the Sabbath; it is not lawful for you to carry your bed.”
He answered them, “He who made me well said to me, ‘Take up your bed and walk.’”
Then they asked him, “Who is the Man who said to you, ‘Take up your bed and walk’?” But the one who was healed did not know who it was, for Jesus had withdrawn, a multitude being in that place. Afterward Jesus found him in the temple, and said to him, “See, you have been made well. Sin no more, lest a worse thing come upon you.”
This was just to end the sharing, but with a frank instruction that we have been given. Be right! Remember though “All have sinned and fallen short…” We are made righteous through faith:
“This righteousness is given through faith in
Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference between Jew and Gentile,
for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.
God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement,
through the shedding of his blood—to be received by faith. He did this to demonstrate his righteousness, because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished— He did it to demonstrate His righteousness at the present time, so as to be just and the one who justifies those who have faith in Jesus.”
Romans 3:22-26
