Month 4

1.
It is “Promise” time again. You are aware that we could do this for days, even years. I am throwing out a challenge find 365 promises and share. Not with me, but with other believers in your circle. Just as you receive this, you can send out. My challenge in the first to 365 wins. You can use those we have shared, but there are so many more.

As I study the Scripture I am astonished at the length, breadth and depth of the content for us! Let’s get to it, this was shared in the Old Testament, as I have learned God is the same now as He was then and will forever be. (Note, no great floods that would or could wipe out mankind, He made a solemn promise and has kept to it. See the rainbow? In science it is the lightening reflected in its component colours.
Rainbows happen when sunlight and rain combine in a very specific way. The beams of sunlight separate into the colors we see in the rainbow as they enter a raindrop. Sunlight is actually made up of different colors that we don’t usually see. When a beam of sunlight comes down to Earth, the light is white.

And we share; God had said
“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.”

I have to pause here, we recently shared a post about a theology class student, who did not believe in God. On the last day of classes asked the Professor if he thought he would ever believe in God. The Professor said “No, I do not Think you will find Him. But He will find you.” Time went by And the lecturer would think of the student who had nought to day positive. One day many years later after the student had graduated. He showed up on the Professors office with a big grin. He looked awfully thin. The chemotherapy from a malignant metastatic Lung CA, had taken its toll. He was many pounds lighter; hos full head of hair which was the longest the Professor had ever seen on those days had all but fallen out secondary to the chemo.

The Professor was in shock; but the ex-student told a story of how he had searched for God And not found him. He then gave up trying. Many things came to mind. We as Christians know how to ask for help when we need it. But do we so freely give thanks And praise where and when it is due? We have ‘shared’ that we must “give thanks always” Ephesians 5:20; 1 Thessalonians 5:18.

The young 20 something year old told a story of what had happened to him. He said: “My Dad was reading a paper and so told him that I wanted to speak with him. The paper came down an inch or so. And I said the words I had never spoken “I Love you Dad”” He went on to describe how they talked the night through even though his father had work the very next day. He continued to relay his story, it had been a whole lot easier with his Mom and sibling. Then, he said it “The God I had been searching for was right there!” He just had to get a few things right in his life. He was invited to speak in the class but passed on before he could.

Now, there are so many things to grasp on to in that ‘sharing’, but most of all, he is in a much better place. Peace being all around, beauty and no tears (maybe of Joy, but a Father who is Love will wipe away every year.)

“And I will be found of you” when you seek me with all your heart”, saith the LORD: “I will turn away your captivity, and I will gather you from all the nations, and from all the places whither I have driven you”; “And I will bring you again into the place whence I caused you to be carried away captive. Because ye have said, The LORD hath raised us up prophets in Babylon.” Jeremiah 29:11-15

As I always say, “A lot to be learned from this.”” Read it, understand it, Live it.

2.
Just ‘sharing.’ If moved, share it with someone or people that you pray for.
I so much Love you that is why I decided to pray this prayer from the bottom of my heart. Continue to say AMEN until u get tired (if you do.) Let us start with this ‘Amen’ means:

If moved and Praying for others, share. In fact let us make this really powerful. Before you share (If you will) say a special prayer for the person you will send it to. Think of all your past conversations, what they want, need. More importantly if they are that important you will want to see, be with them in eternity. So let us turn this around and form a ‘prayer-link’s. Folks, if you desire blessings talk to God. A willing prayer partner you have. Get busy as you are led. Be blessed y’all. Prayer time!

3.

“And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me. Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you. But, behold, the hand of him that betrayeth me is with me on the table. And truly the Son of man goeth, as it was determined: but woe unto that man by whom he is betrayed! And they began to enquire among themselves, which of them it was that should do this thing. And there was also a strife among them, which of them should be accounted the greatest. And he said unto them, The kings of the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and they that exercise authority upon them are called benefactors. But ye shall not be so: but he that is greatest among you, let him be as the younger; and he that is chief, as he that doth serve. For whether is greater, he that sitteth at meat, or he that serveth? is not he that sitteth at meat? but I am among you as he that serveth. Ye are they which have continued with me in my temptations. And I appoint unto you a kingdom, as my Father hath appointed unto me; That ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.”
Luke 22:19-30

In this we are taught what the characters of a good leader are. It is pointed out by The King of glory. We remember the song “Who is The King of glory, what shall we call Him, He is Emmanuel the promise of ages.” Isn’t it amazing how the King of glory was held captive for nine months? I know some of you are thinking “They arrested Jesus for nine months?” I should say “Duh? Think about it.” He was sent to be Man, to teach and die for all. He was in the womb for nine months. Hard for anyone to grasp. Nine months! If we being ourselves were asked to do that, I am sure we would refuse.

We pointed out above that Jesus knew exactly who would betray Him. I have to ask, if you were in His shoes, wouldn’t you have done ‘a little something’ to prevent it? I say this because we already saw and read how in the garden of Gethsemane, he was so distraught that He bled from His sweat glands-hematohidrosis. (We can look that up) Frankly, He knew exactly what and when it would happen. Such was His being distraught that even asking Godcif the cup could be passed over Him, He submitted to it for you and I.

The purpose of this short (albeit longer than intended ‘sharing’ is just that we in positions of authority should be humble.)
We already “Galatians 5:22+’d” it. Be blessed y’all.

4.
This definitely goes on! Read this and be blessed. In our time there are Managers, Directors, CEO’s, Presidents, king’s and Rulers all with their own time and role. We may ask who is greater; we have been taught that as the greater, we should serve. How else will we show what needs to be done. It is much easier to sit in a position of authority and look down as the throng of workers strive to impress us.
As a head, let me ask you “How did you start? Where did you start from? How were you taught?” Yes, the answer may be “I did amazingly well in school.”, “I was just lucky.”, “My intelligence.” Frankly it could go on and on, there is no answer that can be considered ‘right’s.

I know you are wondering just where I am going with this. In nowhere else but The Bible, an argument broke out amongst the Disciples. So many things were heartedly discussed who would betray Him, who the greatest was and so on. Let us read and we can briefly touch on it.

I say this because we already saw and read how in the garden of Gethsemane, he was so distraught that He bleeds blood from His face!

5.
If He ate, wouldn’t you be blessed to serve Him? Yes! Our God is The King of kings and The Lord of lords. Shall we ‘wait’ upon Him? Whew! The tips in blessings would be out of this world literally in every way!!! Hallelujah! We’d yell when bowing away from the table. He would be at The head of the table, Jesus to His right and just as it says in the bible there would be saints galore around the table.

To wait on that table means you are in the presence of the most glorious presence in the universe! Let us look forward to that day! Even if you missed your spiritual step and stumbled, not that you would He would stretch out His Glory filled arms and wrap them around you! Glory to God.

There are such awesome times coming, it is hard to stay patient. Let us pray it up! Yet there are things that need to be done. Did you witness to your family? Believing is just the start. Know anyone who has backslidden? Pull them up! In Heaven they will thank you. Even if they are unapproachable, put it in prayer. Perhaps they have a spot that you cannot fill or touch. The Lord can and will. All we have to do is ask.

Ok! A long time outta The Word. Let us dive in with A huge splash!

But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace. Psalm 37:11

We are called to be meek. Just what is that?
MEEK
mēk/
adjective
quiet, gentle, and easily imposed on; submissive.
“I used to call her Miss Mouse because she was so meek and mild”
synonyms:submissive, yielding, obedient, compliant, tame, biddable, tractable, acquiescent, humble, deferential, timid, unprotesting, unresisting, like a lamb to the slaughter; quiet, mild, gentle, docile, lamblike, shy, diffident, unassuming, self-effacing.

Can we do this? My challenge is to find a situation where you practice being meek. Not insisting on your own way, or wanting things done your way now! I think this is a good place to start. Folks! I just thought about it, names deleted or not even included! It’s testimony time. Y’all have my address, so bring it on!

6.
Good morning.
May today be all you need it to be. May the peace of God and the freshness of the Holy Spirit rest in your thoughts, rule in your dreams tonight, and conquer all your fears. May God manifest Himself today in ways you have never experienced before. May your joy be fulfilled, your dreams be closer and your prayers be answered. I pray that faith enters a new height for you; I pray that your territory is enlarged. I pray for peace, healing, health, happiness, prosperity, joy and a true and undying love for God. IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST THE MOST HIGH, AMEN!

7.
According to the Gospel of John, the Pharisees, in an attempt to discredit Jesus, brought a woman charged with adultery before him. Then they reminded Jesus that adultery was punishable by stoning under Mosaic law and challenged him to judge the woman so that they might then accuse him of disobeying the law. Jesus thought for a moment and then replied, “He that is without sin among you, let him cast the first stone at her.” The people crowded around him were so touched by their own consciences that they departed. When Jesus found himself alone with the woman, he asked her who were her accusers. She replied, “No man, lord.” Jesus then said, “Neither do I condemn thee: go and sin no more.”

I happened to see this as a movie which I shared. Brought tears to my eyes for so many reasons. they were so quick to judge. Much easier to judge thanvadmit we are at fault; No? It is shocking that the crowd dragged the woman and threw her against the wall while they caught Jesus comment. They wanted blood and to judge Him, by trying Him. We can imagine that we just looked down and scribbled in the dirt till every one of them had dispersed. All He said was “He who among you is without sin, let him cast the first stone.” And all people dispersed. Then He stood up and said to the woman “Go and sin no more.” A myriad of thoughts ‘befell’ me.
1. Where was the man that she had committed fornication with? What was the ‘punishment’ for the man?
2. As things go in this day and age; aren’t the both to blame? What one did, the other did too.
3. If the woman was married, where was her husband?

What Jesus said, teaches us a lesson. We are all with sin-thoughts, words, actions, desires etc. We are so quick to judge others. Why don’t you start by judging yourself? By doing this, by God’s grace, the world will be a better place.

8.
Patience might be a bed of thorns at times. We must remember that is one of the fruits of The Spirit. Yes, there are trials and tribulations, hardship and difficulties; I would not be truthful if I or anyone denies these. My eyes have seen The Glory of The Lord, and when we see it we shall rejoice.
🈷Mine eyes have seen the glory
of the coming of the Lord;
he is trampling out the vintage
where the grapes of wrath are stored;
he hath loosed the fateful lightning
of his terrible swift sword;
his truth is marching on.

There are times when the hand that keeps us down is no more. Give God the praise! Waiting and seeking His face is what we need to do for now and all our ways.

The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell therein for ever. The mouth of the righteous speaketh wisdom, and his tongue talketh of judgment. The law of his God is in his heart; none of his steps shall slide. The wicked watcheth the righteous, and seeketh to slay him. The LORD will not leave him in his hand, nor condemn him when he is judged. Wait on the LORD, and keep his way, and he shall exalt thee to inherit the land: when the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see it. I have seen the wicked in great power, and spreading himself like a green bay tree. Yet he passed away, and, lo, he was not: yea, I sought him, but he could not be found.
Psalm 37:29-36

What must we do to retrieve what is ours? What we have been promised? Let us “Galatians 5:22” it!
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.”

These again have no law. Have we seen an arrest for peace, forbearance or gentleness? The fruit of the Spirit are these and more.

What we shall not do is outlined in The Word of our Father Who is in Heaven, lane we pray the He supply us with His blessings now and in all our ways.

As for the one who is weak in faith, welcome him, but not to quarrel over opinions. One person believes he may eat anything, while the weak person eats only vegetables. Let not the one who eats despise the one who abstains, and let not the one who abstains pass judgment on the one who eats, for God has welcomed him. Who are you to pass judgment on the servant of another? It is before his own master that he stands or falls. And he will be upheld, for the Lord is able to make him stand. One person esteems one day as better than another, while another esteems all days alike. Each one should be fully convinced in his own mind.
Romans 14:1-23

Now the Spirit expressly says that in later times some will depart from the faith by devoting themselves to deceitful spirits and teachings of demons, through the insincerity of liars whose consciences are seared, who forbid marriage and require abstinence from foods that God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth. For everything created by God is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving, for it is made holy by the word of God and prayer.
1 Timothy 4:1-5

We are going to have church here! There are quite a few more veres that advice on our lives;,in fact I can point you right to the bible these things are written. I understand that some are too ‘busy’ to find the time to read even a here or two. It is my prayer that they will find the time to be blessed by this.

Father, Lord we thank You for the gift of The Spirit. Your Spirit Lives in us and through us we are shown to be believers; holding and trusting You. Father Alleluia, we thank You for going ahead and bringing the testimonies to be in my Life. Lord, be glorified today and for always. I stand before You Lord, teach me to forgive those who have sinned against me, Lord let me function me to let the past stay right there-in the past. Lord, today I step out with You. Bless me and make me while Father in Jesus’ name, Amen

THEME: CONSPIRACY & FORNICATION

MEMORISE:

Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body. 1 Corinthians 6:18

READ: Job 5:12-14, 1 Corinthians 6:18-20

12 He disappointeth the devices of the crafty, so that their hands cannot perform their enterprise.

13 He taketh the wise in their own craftiness: and the counsel of the froward is carried headlong.

14 They meet with darkness in the day time, and grope in the noonday as in the night.

1 Corinthians 6:18-20 (KJV)

18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.

19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Exodus 1-3 and Isaiah 58:13-59:15

MESSAGE:

A conspiracy can be defined as a secret plan by a group of persons to do something unlawful or mischievous. Whenever you agree or partner with one or more persons to do something against God’s express word or will, you are guilty of conspiracy. The attitude of the Holy Spirit towards conspiracy is clear from His judgement against Ananias and Sapphira, who conspired to test Him with their lie (Acts 5:1-11). Ahithophel and Absalom also engaged in conspiracy against the Lord’s anointed, King David (2 Samuel 15:12). They paid for this sin with their lives, and they both died similar deaths through hanging (2 Samuel 17:23, 2 Samuel 18:9-14). Do you know that many people still conspire to lie to the Holy Spirit today? When auditors are visiting some churches, their pastors will connive with accountants to present doctored records. On arrival, when the auditor asks the accountant if the books presented are the actual financial records, they would affirm that they are. That is conspiring to lie to the Holy Spirit! Those who engage in conspiracy often die together, just like it happened to Ananias and Sapphira, Absalom and Ahithophel, and Korah, Dathan and Abiram (Numbers 26:9-10). This is where married couples need to be extremely cautions. If your spouse is going the way of destruction, never follow him or her. Do all you can to deliver him, but if the fellow refuses, let him or her take the evil step alone. Are you engaged in a conspiracy to defraud your employer or government? It’s time to pull out of such schemes and repent.

In like manner, the Holy Spirit hates adultery and fornication. Why? It is because your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit. You are His dwelling place. Adultery separates God from His temple. It keeps God outside His throne in your heart. Some people erroneously think that they can fornicate without affecting the presence of the Holy Spirit in them. No way! How can you expect the Holy Spirit, whose personality is defined by holiness, to dwell in a body yielded to filthiness? The Bible in James 4:4 says,

“Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? Whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.”

Fornication strips the glory of God away from you and clothes you in rags and shame. There is nothing glorious about sexual sin. It never adds anything to you; rather, it always takes away your prized possessions. Repent and flee fornication daily! Whatever separates God from you is something to resist by all means!

ACTION POINT:

Confess and repent of any form of conspiracy or sexual sins you are involved in. Break away from every form of relationship that facilitates these.

For our musicians:

HYMN 9: ON THE HILL AWAY

1. On a hill far away stood an old rugged cross,
the emblem of suffering and shame;
and I love that old cross where the dearest and best
for a world of lost sinners was slain.

Refrain:
So I’ll cherish the old rugged cross,
till my trophies at last I lay down;
I will cling to the old rugged cross,
and exchange it some day for a crown.

2. O that old rugged cross, so despised by the world,
has a wondrous attraction for me;
for the dear Lamb of God left his glory above
to bear it to dark Calvary. Refrain

3. In that old rugged cross, stained with blood so divine,
a wondrous beauty I see,
for ’twas on that old cross Jesus suffered and died,
to pardon and sanctify me. Refrain

4. To the old rugged cross I will ever be true;
its shame and reproach gladly bear;
then He’ll call me some day to my home far away,
where His glory forever I’ll share. Refrain

We, I am sure have heard of the story of the woman who wiped Jesus’ feet with het hair and ointment. Do we know who exactly she was? (It was that Mary which anointed the Lord with ointment, and wiped his feet with her hair, whose brother Lazarus was sick.) We see that this anointing happened again. When one of the Pharisees invited Jesus to have dinner with him, he went to the Pharisee’s house and reclined at the table. A woman in that town who lived a sinful life learned that Jesus was eating at the Pharisee’s house, so she came there with an alabaster jar of perfume. As she stood behind him at his feet weeping, she began to wet his feet with her tears. Then she wiped them with her hair, kissed them and poured perfume on them. Luke 7:36-38
Therefore his sisters sent unto him, saying, Lord, behold, he whom thou lovest is sick.
When Jesus heard that, he said, This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified thereby. Jesus knew exactly what would occur, we see it in His words.

Now Jesus loved Martha, and her sister, and Lazarus. When he had heard therefore that he was sick, He abode two days still in the same place where He was. The disciples must have wondered why exactly He tarried “That the Father might be glorified.” He said to His disciples.

One thing that is very scarce in the bible is Jesus crying. We know He Loved Lazarus and his sisters. But, looking at it from the human perspective, He was touched. Jesus wept John 11:35 (The shortest verse in the bible.) It gives meaning to the phrase, the depth of emotion.

Then the Jews said, “See how he Loved him!” Some who stood aside faulted Him for not coming sooner.

One of the most powerful prayers followed suite.
Jesus, once more deeply moved, came to the tomb. It was a cave with a stone laid across the entrance. “Take away the stone,” he said.

“But, Lord,” said Martha, the sister of the dead man, “by this time there is a bad odor, for he has been there four days.”

Then Jesus said, “Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?”
So they took away the stone. Then Jesus looked up and said, “Father, I thank you that you have heard me. I knew that you always hear me, but I said this for the benefit of the people standing here, that they may believe that you sent me.”

Lazarus, still bounty with the burial cloths came out when he was called. The BIG lesson. Faith moves mountains.

13.
Because God wanted to make the unchanging nature of his purpose very clear to the heirs of what was promised, he confirmed it with an oath. God did this so that, by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled to take hold of the hope set before us may be greatly encouraged. We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain, where our forerunner, Jesus, has entered on our behalf. He has become a high priest forever, in the order of Melchizedek. Hebrews 6:17-19

Melchizedek is a role of King and priest. We have a “friend” in Jesus! In The Word He is both a King and He acts as our go between to God.
I will admit that I was a little perplexed till I read and learned and thus share with you.

Melchizedek, Melkisetek, or Malki Tzedek, is the king of Salem and priest of El Elyon mentioned in the 14th chapter of the Book of Genesis. He brings out bread and wine and blesses Abram and El Elyon.

The priesthood of Melchizedek is a role in Abrahamic religions, modelled on Melchizedek, combining the dual position of king and priest.
Melchizedek is a king and priest appearing in the Book of Genesis. The name means “King of Righteousness” – a name echoing kingly and priestly functions. He is the first individual to be given the title Kohen (priest) in the Hebrew Bible.

Amazingly, we can and do sing “What a friend we have in Jesus”

What a friend we have in Jesus
All our sins and griefs to bear
And what a privilege to carry
Everything to God in prayer

Oh, what peace we often forfeit
Oh, what needless pain we bear
All because we do not carry
Everything to God in prayer

Have we trials and temptations?
Is there trouble anywhere?
We should never be discouraged
Take it to the Lord in prayer

Can we find a friend so faithful
Who will all our sorrows share?
Jesus knows our every weakness
Take it to the Lord in prayer.

TOPIC : STILL KEEPING OLD PALS?

MEMORISE : And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. EPHESIANS 4 : 24.

READ : EPHESISANS 4 : 17 – 24 :

17 This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind,

18 Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:

19 Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.

20 But ye have not so learned Christ;

21 If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus:

22 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;

23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;

24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR : EXODUS 4 – 6 AND ISAIAH 59 : 16 – 60 : 7.

MESSAGE :

An encounter with Jesus Christ is such a powerful experience that it can bring about a change of name ( Mark 3 : 16 ). This change of name indicates a change of destiny. His power of transformation changes you from a sinner to a saint ( Romans 1 : 7 ). There is no greater change than that of a changed life made possible by the redeeming power in the blood of Jesus Christ. If you were known as a night crawler before encountering Jesus, you will become known as a more responsible person after encountering Him. The truth is, if you really encounter Jesus Christ, you will lose most of your old friends because it would be difficult for them to relate with the new you. They won’t understand you anymore, because you won’t talk the way you used to talk, drink like you used to drink or even dress the way they dress. Following a definite encounter with the person of Jesus Christ, what you like and hate will change, so much so that if you fail to leave your old friends, they will be the ones to desert you. If you say you are born again, and all of your old pals still feel comfortable around you, your salvation is most likely not genuine.

Before I became born again, I had many friends, some of whom were sailors. When they returned from their trips, they brought me assorted alcoholic drinks. Therefore, when my friends wanted to drink alcohol, they would visit me because they knew I would have a lot in store. They sometimes said they could not pass by the house of the king without saying hello to the king. I never knew I was king of alcohol in those days. However, after my conversion, when my old friends visited me, I would offer them soft drinks. They would protest, saying that I already knew the choice alcoholic drinks they normally enjoyed, but I simply told them that I did not stock such anymore. Consequently, I lost most of my friends, but today, God has given me like-minded, godly people as replacements. Have you truly encountered Jesus? What changes have you noticed in your life? Are you still keeping all your old friends, or have they observed the changes in your life and dumped you? Sometimes, some people are afraid of losing their old friends, and as a result, they do everything to hide their new found faith from them. This is unacceptable in the Kingdom of God. The reality is that if you have met Jesus, you are linked to the greatest Friend anyone could ever have. You should be proud of that and let all your friends know about it. If you are ashamed of Him here on earth, He too will be ashamed to talk about you in Heaven ( Mark 8 : 38 ).

ACTION POINT : Some people have bars in their houses. If you are truly saved, such bars should not accommodate any alcoholic drinks. Get rid of that alcohol!

👌👌 *An awesome message!!!*.

A rich man looked through his window and saw a poor man picking something from his dustbin … He said, Thank GOD I’m not poor.

The poor man looked around and saw a naked man misbehaving on the street … He said, Thank GOD I’m not mad.

The mad man looked ahead and saw an ambulance carrying a patient … He said, Thank GOD am not sick.

Then a sick person in hospital saw a trolley taking a dead body to the mortuary … He said, Thank GOD I’m not dead.

Only a dead person cannot thank God.

Why don’t you thank GOD today for all your blessings and for the gift of life … for another beautiful day.

*What is LIFE*?
To understand life better, you have to go to 3 locations :

*1. Hospital*
*2. Prison*
*3. Cemetery*

🏥 At the Hospital, you will understand that nothing is more beautiful than HEALTH.

🔐 In the Prison, you’ll see that FREEDOM is the most precious thing.

💐 At the Cemetery, you will realize that life is worth nothing. The ground that we walk today will be our roof tomorrow.

*Sad Truth* : We all come with *Nothing* and we will go with *Nothing* … Let us, therefore, remain humble and be thankful & grateful to God at all times for everything.

Michael Jackson died few years ago they call him late Jackson; Yaradua died few years ago they call him late Yaradua; Mandela died few years ago they call him late Mandela, But since 2,000 years ago Jesus Christ died and no body not even the devil called him late Christ .. Glory be to God in the highest !.He lives!!! He reigns!!!!! He rules!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

16.
So much to learn therein;
1. Life after death.
2. Great artists have existed before it was documented.
3. The Glory of God, our Father.
4. A testimony, just as we have even today.

Amazing that Matthew who was not with them writes of what they saw. Even being present must have been awe inspiring, a thing glorious to behold. So much so that they who were present fell down trembling. A voice was heard, even the voice of God.

I have to wonder how God fellowshiped with Adam and Eve. They would have known of His presence in the garden of Eden. It says they hid when they heard His presence. I am directed to the meeting of the Angels meeting with God when He spoke with pride about His child Job. In my mind; boy! Must that have been great!!! So many people on Earth and His eye caught one, who was fulfilling His will while he lived here on Earth. To be pointed out by God!!! Oh my! Can we say that God is proud of us? I know full well that it is at times difficult, but let us go back and review all job did. He worked hard! He had flocks, people working under him, farms, crop, houses, land. I must point out that it was possible that he was one of the richest people of his time. For many reasons; no matter what he did, he put God first.

When I say this; I want to ensure that it is taken appropriately. Job had a few children. So everything worked just fine. When God spoke with pride; Satan was there and pointed out that his opulence was because God had placed a wall of protection about him. I will point out that when we do as God wills there is a wall of protection about us. Just as Job did, we must have goals. He did, he wanted to ensure that he worked hard and well and left plenty for his children. Has God built a wall around you? I must ask.

The reason I state this is we have as believers all been granted a guardian angel. Brings a few things in our Spirits. We are constantly seen, not here in this plane; but our observers are on a different plane. We have spoken about our lives being on constant record; thoughts, actions, feelings. If we are met with a challenge, our reaction is what our reaction is. It might be the correct one or incorrect, time will tell. But this is why we have stressed to place each and every day into God’s hands and let The Lord lead us as He wills.

Now, the testimony of what was see. And experienced.
And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart, And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun (The Glory of God cannot be described with words), and his raiment was white as the light (again we are told that a heavenly light encircled Jesus. Onbbright days can we look directly into the sun?). And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with Him (we have pointed out that duringcJesus’ fast for the 40 days, there were things that He might have taken care of in The Spiritual plane). Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, “Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for Thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias.”
While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, “This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye Him.” And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their face, and were sore afraid.
And Jesus came and touched them, and said, Arise, and be not afraid. And when they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no man, save Jesus only.
And as they came down from the mountain, Jesus charged them, saying, “Tell the vision to no man, until the Son of man be risen again from the dead.”
And his disciples asked him, saying, “Why then say the scribes that Elias must first come?” And Jesus answered and said unto them, “Elias truly shall first come, and restore all things. But I say unto you, That Elias is come already, and they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they wished. Likewise shall also the Son of man suffer of them.” (As we shared, Jesus knew whay exactly He would face. This is why He was agrieved before his trials leading to His crucifixion and death in the flesh occurred.) Then the disciples understood that he spake unto them of John the Baptist.

And when they were come to the multitude, there came to him a certain man, kneeling down to him, and saying, Lord, have mercy on my son: for he is lunatick, and sore vexed: for ofttimes he falleth into the fire, and oft into the water. And I brought him to thy disciples, and they could not cure him. Then Jesus answered and said, O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? bring him hither to me. And Jesus rebuked the devil; and he departed out of him: and the child was cured from that very hour. (The testimony.)
Matthew 17:1-18

17.
In just a ‘little while’, we have to remember years in our life is a mere second to God. Yes, the Isrealites were His first “sheep”, a nation called to serve Him. We are now His sheep! A little while may be years to us. To Him yesteryear Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit. Bless God that they did not eat of the tree of Life! Or we’d still be walking or existing with Adame, Eve, Moses, Elijah and all. They are today, in a different plane. They chose to serve Th3 Lord and they served Him truly with heart and Spirit.
God told Abram to get up and go; he did and The Lords promise was fulfilled in his life. It is interesting that all the bible characters are represented as Caucasian, though the events in the bible took place in what we know know as the ‘Middle East’. Africa is represented too; when Moses ran from Egypt he adjourned in a place we no know as around Ethiopia.
Even his wife was not ‘fair-skinned’.
Zipporah or Tzipora (/ˈzɪp.ər.ə/ or /zɪpˈɔːr.ə/; Hebrew: צִפוֹרָה, Modern Tsippora, Tiberian Ṣippôrā ‘bird’; Greek: Σεπφώρα, Sepphōra; Arabic: صفورة‎‎, Ṣaffūrah) is mentioned in the Book of Exodus as the wife of Moses, and the daughter of Reuel/Jethro, the priest or prince of Midian and the spiritual founder and ancestor of the Druze. In the Book of Chronicles, two of her descendants are mentioned: Shebuel, son of Gershom, and Rehabiah, son of Eliezer.

the people are known for their black skin. We know this because of Jeremiah 13:23: “Can the Ethiopian [the same Hebrew word translated “Cushite” in Numbers 12:1] change his skin or the leopard his spots? Then also you can do good who are accustomed to do evil.” Attention is drawn to the difference of the skin of the Cushite people.

Cush “is used regularly to refer to the area south of Egypt, and above the cataracts on the Nile, where a Black African civilization flourished for over two thousand years. Thus it is quite clear that Moses marries a Black African woman.”

In response to Miriam’s criticism, God does not get angry at Moses; he gets angry at Miriam. The criticism has to do with Moses’ marriage and Moses’ authority. The most explicit statement relates to the marriage: “Miriam and Aaron spoke against Moses because of the Cushite woman whom he had married, for he had married a Cushite woman.” Then God strikes Miriam with leprosy. Why? Consider this possibility. In God’s anger at Miriam, Moses’ sister, God says in effect, “You like being light-skinned Miriam? I’ll make you light-skinned.” So we read, “When the cloud removed from over the tent, behold, Miriam was leprous, like snow” (Num. 12:10)

God says not a critical word against Moses for marrying a black Cushite woman. But when Miriam criticizes God’s chosen leader for this marriage God strikes her skin with white leprosy. If you ever thought black was a biblical symbol for uncleanness, be careful; a worse white uncleanness could come upon you.

I have done tons of research on this and God made us all Asian, Indian, African, Caucasian in His eyes; we all are equal. In fact, having a medical background the blood taken from one can be given to another with no ill effects. Essentially we are all the same inside.
Though I have stated that I will steer cleat of my experience, in my ‘dream’ after my accident I frankly cannot remember that anyone or thing appeared as a ‘nationality’ all the other individuals I saw from afar were just as they were, I cannot remember any difference in race and/or color. I guess I should see if currently my dreams specify color or just the ‘nature’ of
the person.

But back to what we were talking about

18.
We are blessed with fullness of days. There is Joy, find it and grasp it. Hold on tightly; for You are Loved. And we pray (as children of our Father we are able to pray the exact same prayer as king David. We made it ours, for God is The same Yesteryear, today and for always!) It is quite a blessing as we look to when time will cease and we will be in His presence for always. It is hard to imagine that Adam and Eve were not created to die, but that was changed. The impressive thing is that the tree of Life was in the garden, yet they did not eat of it. They at the time did not have the understanding that we do in this time:

Your people shall joy in Thy strength, O LORD; and in Thy salvation how greatly shall he rejoice!21:2 Thou hast given him his heart’s desire, and hast not withholden the request of his lips. Selah.21:3 For thou preventest him with the blessings of goodness: thou settest a crown of pure gold on his head.21:4 He asked life of thee, and thou gavest it him, even length of days for ever and ever. Psalm 21:1-4

19.
Now we can begin tearing it down to bits bare bones. Hallelujah!
He hath delivered my soul in peace from the battle that was against me: for there were many with me. God shall hear, and afflict them, even he that abideth of old. Selah. Because they have no changes, therefore they fear not God. He hath put forth his hands against such as be at peace with him: he hath broken his covenant. Psalm 55:18-20

Verse 18. He hath delivered my soul in peace from the battle. In the midst of war the Lord can keep a man as safe as in the time of peace, and in extreme perils preserve him from danger. He that depends upon God in the time of trouble, albeit he had an host against him, yet hath he more with him when God is with him, than can be against him. David Dickson.

Verse 18. For. The for implies the reason why God interposed to deliver him; namely, because of the general principle that God ministers relief when his people come to an extremity. A. R. Fausset.

Verse 18. There were many with me. This is doubtful whether it be meant of foes or friends. If of foes, it may be resolved thus: for with many (with a great multitude) they were fighters with me. If of friends, it may be understood of God’s angels, that in a great number were with him, pitching camp for his aid ( Psalms 34:7 ); as Elisha said, “Many more are with us than with them.” 2Ki 6:16-17. The Chaldee explains it, “For in many afflictions his word was for my help.” Henry Ainsworth.

Cast your burdens onto Jesus, for He cares for you. As always, reading and it stuck out. Where are our musicians?

-Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved. Psalm 55:22

A promise. Our promise for all our ways in Jesus’ name, Amen

22.
I will admit that I didn’t know where to start. The whole book is full of truisms that affect us daily. We will start here: So I say, walk by and in The Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. Life is about balance, therefore keeping our lives in balance demands that we know and understand what effects and affects the balance. The flesh and the Spirit are in conflict with each other, so that you are not to do whatever you want. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. A bit difficult to understand. To place it as plainly before you as can be done. Be led by The Word. We at times have what is known as ‘consience’, the ‘inner-self’ speaks to us. At times it may be difficult to hear just what it says, but allowing ourselves to be led by The Spirit is unfathomable peace.

The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other.
Galatians 5:16-26

23.
Be willing to pay the price

‘I am doing a great work, so that I cannot come down.’ Nehemiah 6:3 KJV

Success usually comes at the end of struggle; if it came easily, everybody would be experiencing it. When it comes to success, there are no shortcuts, reduced prices, or ‘special deals’. The value of anything is determined by the price you’re willing to pay for it. And when you truly value something, you won’t easily jeopardise it because you remember what it cost you. What are you afraid of today? Failing? Your concern should be the opposite—regret that you didn’t try.

Are you afraid of criticism? Face it, as you move upward in life certain people will resent your success; that’s true whether you’re arrogant or not. We all want to be liked, but at some point you’ve got to ask yourself, ‘How much am I willing to forfeit in order to be liked and accepted?’ Nehemiah, the builder of Jerusalem’s walls, said, ‘I am doing a great work, so…I cannot come down.’ Any time you defer to the opinion of people instead of the will of God, you are ‘coming down’. Stay up on the wall! Keep laying bricks—or whatever God has called you to do.

Advancement often brings isolation and criticism, and God may be grooming you right now for a new level of blessing by exposing you to both. Can you handle it? Not everybody can. But if you’re the kind of person who can’t sit on the sidelines and watch while others play the game—go for it! God will reward every step of faith you take and every sacrifice you make.

SoulFood: 2 Ki 7–9, Luke 16:1–18, Ps 135, Prov 7:21–23

24.
James 3:16 No truer words concerning ourselves and others have been uttered. There are in The Word tons of truism, this affects our daily life.
It says: For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.

Let us strive to be wholesome in The Spirit. Talking everything through first with Christ our Savior, praying it through so we stand with both feet firmly planted, then in humility seeking the heart of those we have wronged or those who have wronged us.

25.
Do we know where the song “If I had the wings of a dove…” is from??? Any takers? I will remind you be stating the lyrics below:

If I had the wings of a dove
If I had the wings of a dove
Well, I would fly, fly away, fly away
And be at rest

If I had the wings of a dove
If I had the wings of a dove
Well, I would fly, fly away, fly away
And be at rest

Oh, since I have no wings, since
I have no wings, since I have no wings
I’m gonna sing, sing, sing,
Since I have no wings, since
I have no wings, since I have no wings
I’m gonna sing, sing, sing…

The interesting thing is that it was sung by Bob Marley. Remember?
So, I was reading and chanced upon the words; guess where???

horror has overwhelmed me.
I said, “Oh, that I had the wings of a dove!
I would fly away and be at rest.
I would flee far away
and stay in the desert;
I would hurry to my place of shelter,
far from the tempest and storm.”
Psalm 55:6-8

There are so many lessons. It was a very popular reggae song. God uses all kinds of people. I have to ask; did you know where the song came from? Let us not tarry on that fact, but rather we have discussed ‘music’s. There are so many places The Word says ‘Sing to The Lord’:
I will sing to the Lord all my life;
I will sing praise to my God as long as I live.
Psalm 104:33

Sing for joy in the LORD, O you righteous ones; Praise is becoming to the upright. Give thanks to the LORD with the lyre; Sing praises to Him with a harp of ten strings. Sing to Him a new song; Play skillfully with a shout of joy.
Psalm 33:1-3

Sing to the LORD a new song; Sing to the LORD, all the earth. Sing to the LORD, bless His name; Proclaim good tidings of His salvation from day to day.
Psalm 96:1-2

But let all who take refuge in You be glad, Let them ever sing for joy; And may You shelter them, That those who love Your name may exult in You.
Psalm 5:111

Sing praises to the LORD, who dwells in Zion; Declare among the peoples His deeds.
Psalm 9:11

We can go on, there are quite a few 64 to be precise and I am still searching for more. So, once again the challenge is raised. Do we have musicians among us? There were singing groups growing up one of which in Nigeria was “The Beacons.” Are we ‘too busy’ to open our hearts and give our Father and our Lord praise?

I am just sending out some encouragement for the slumbering musicians in each and every one of us. Sing to the Lord!

Righteous
Ruler of the heavens
Holy holy our God
Sovereign
Lord of all creation
Holy holy our God
Every tribe and tongue
Lift your voice as one
He is greatly to be praised
Sing to the Lord
Oh my soul
Let the heavens
Shout for joy
Great is our God
Great is our God
Nations come and
Bow before Him
Holy holy our God
Angels…

And yet another! Calling our inner musicians! You do not have to be in the choir. Just sing!

We are still on or 3:16 jaunt. So why do we not go back and start from Genesis? I found it disturbing but explicit. And we read:
Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee. Genesis 3:16

27.
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
John 3:16

be·get

“violence begets violence”

So, when I read this. God begat Jesus. Yes we know there are ‘sons’ of God in Heaven. To create is seperate from beget.
cre·ate

Jesus is a ‘part’ of God The Father. To create is different. We were created each with her or his purpose. Have we found them out yet? More to come.

28.
Let us go through this, I know there is quite a bit to learn. We ‘share’ the Word, no excuse to forego the gathering of the Spirits in a place And giving God the glory! But learn, we must.

And they say, How doth God know? To start off, this is the voice of the unbelievers and a simple answer from The Word is God has perfect knowledge of us, and all our thoughts and actions are open before him. It is more profitable to meditate on Divine truths, applying them to our own cases, and with hearts lifted to God in prayer, than with a curious or disputing frame of mind. That God knows all things, is omniscient; that he is every where, is omnipresent; are truths acknowledged by all, yet they are seldom rightly believed in by mankind. God takes strict notice of every step we take, every right

step and every by step. He knows what rule we walk by, what end we walk toward, what company we walk with. When I am withdrawn from all company, thou knowest what I have in my heart. There is not a vain word, not a good word, but thou knowest from what thought it came, and with what design it was uttered. Wherever we are, we are under the eye and hand of God. We cannot by searching find how God searches us out; nor do we know how we are known. Such thoughts should restrain us from sin.
(Ps 139:7-16)

And is there knowledge in the most High? Behold, these are the ungodly, who prosper in the world; they increase in riches. Verily I have cleansed my heart in vain, and washed my hands in innocency. For all the day long have I been plagued, and chastened every morning. If I say, I will speak thus; behold, I should offend against the generation of thy children. When I thought to know this, it was too painful for me; Until I went into the sanctuary of God; then understood I their end. Surely thou didst set them in slippery places: thou castedst them down into destruction. How are they brought into desolation, as in a moment! they are utterly consumed with terrors. As a dream when one awaketh; so, O Lord, when thou awakest, thou shalt despise their image. Thus my heart was grieved, and I was pricked in my reins. So foolish was I, and ignorant: I was as a beast before thee. Nevertheless I am continually with thee: thou hast holden me by my right hand. Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory. Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee. My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever. For, lo, they that are far from thee shall perish: thou hast destroyed all them that go a whoring from thee. But it is good for me to draw near to God: I have put my trust in the Lord GOD, that I may declare all thy works.
Psalm 73:11-28

29.
Why do we rest in Him? We stand awed by Jesus! His Father??? It goes without saying that words could never express the reverence we have for His awesomeness. Once again words fail me.

As for God, his way is perfect:
The Lord’s word is flawless;
he shields all who take refuge in him..
Psalm 18:30

The Lord makes firm the steps
of the one who delights in him;
though he may stumble, he will not fall,
for the Lord upholds him with his hand.
Psalm 37:23-24

Go By The Book

‘Do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward.’ Hebrews 10:35 NKJV

How long should you keep praying and believing God for the answer? Until He tells you differently. In other words, go by the book! ‘Do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward. For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise.’ (Hebrews 10:35–36 NKJV) Many of God’s promises have timelines, and you need long-distance faith to receive them. The word endurance pictures a runner determined to reach the finish line. You say, ‘But I’m not sure what God’s will is.’ His will is revealed in His Word, and that’s what you must believe and speak over your situation. To say otherwise is to contradict God.

Abraham stood on God’s promise that he’d be the father of many nations when there wasn’t a shred of evidence to prove it. For twenty years he looked up into the night sky believing, ‘Lord, You said my children would be as numerous as the stars. I don’t know how You’re going to do it for I’m a hundred years old and my wife, Sarah, is ninety. But I’m going to believe You anyway.’ When you pray that way, you risk looking foolish in the eyes of others.

But receiving the miraculous often involves looking ridiculous, like Jesus telling the disciples to fill wine pots with water or rubbing clay in a blind man’s eyes. But the guests at the wedding in Cana drank the finest wine, and the blind man went home seeing. Why? Because they obeyed the word Jesus gave them. So the word for you today is: go by the Book.
