How Do You React to God’s Gifts?

Amazement is an awesome feeling!

“Can you believe it?!” When sharing a testimony, we share in utter incredulity at the Glory of The LORD. We stand in utter respect of all God has done! Have you been given a present? That is so inadequate- A gift! What is a gift?

gift:
A noun-
Something given voluntarily without payment in return, as to show favor toward someone, honor an occasion, or make a gesture of assistance; present.

Also, the act of giving.

We receive gifts, no need to pay back. Worship shows appreciation – To lay before Him, our God in whose image we were made! He spoke to Himself (To The Son and The Holy Ghost. Parts of Him.) We shall create Man in My image (Our image.) We are cradled in His arms, comforted in His bosom. Led by His presence. Blessed by His essence, Amen.

Having received, we are stunned into praise! Hallelujah ring around, in and through us! Raise your hands in praise people! We have received!

Glory to GOD in The Highest! Our All!!! Without Him in our life, we are nothing! We do not even exist!Have you thought of this? You and I DO NOT exist! God has given us life, breath, He brought us to be! Give Him praise!!!

Funny enough, I heard a song once, “Hallelujah Anyhow!!!” Yup! It is time to give Him praise in and out of temptation, at every move that we make! You speak? First words out should be ‘Thank You Jesus’, for a night we spent, watched over by our LORD!!!

Hold up! Got a Dad? His care is awesome. Gifts, surprises, games, toys… I cannot stop here. What is the best thing you have received from your Dad? A trip? School fees? A car? Many awesome things. Surprises even more amazing. Unexpected.

Imagine this; The Creator of Heaven and Earth, the Galaxy. Things seen and unseen. The sun, planets…

The Sun is at The Center of the galaxy that we know. We can list the planets. Our Solar System has eight “official” planets which orbit the Sun. Here are the planets listed in order of their distance from the Sun:

Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune.

An easy mnemonic for remembering the order is, “My Very Educated Mother Just Served Us Noodles.” We have been taught this and it is drilled into us. What is the center of the known universe? It’s size? Its make up? Unknown, we can measure from a distance and estimate its make up. Cannot stare directly at the Sun.

What is at the center of our Universe? You got it? It’s what I was aiming at. As believers, we have a center in our universe. Planets float around, encircling the sun. We have planets too. Family, friends, colleagues, positive and negative influences.
Hold up! Wait a minute! We just spoke about ourselves. What is our Center? What, Who, Why? What do we aim to touch? We are planets similar in shape, properties, function (is that accurate?) What, just what is our function? The planet’s receive light and heat from the Sun.. Further out…little Sun. Neptune is the known furthest planet from the Sun.

Now why do we stay so far away from ‘the center of our existence?’. We have a chance, a choice to be closer. We make the decision to be far off. Remember our distance is our choice. Mind you, no two planets have ever collided. We can share so much on this.

Two rocks stay as created, still until they are moved. We as Humans shift, grind, move and decide… Wait! We decide? That is a very powerful statement. “In His image we were made.” We were created with care, think of this. God spoke, and it was made. Man was created and we were made in His likeness.

Watery, formless planet Earth suspended in the darkness and the void of space (no Sun or any other stars, no moon, no planets yet existed—except for Earth). Mind you, hear it is said “No Sun.”

Light came next, do we have a clue? What home doesn’t need to be lit? What is the source of our light? God is Light.

“God is light,” says 1 John 1:5. Light is a common metaphor in the Bible. Proverbs 4:18 symbolizes righteousness as the “morning sun.” Philippians 2:15 likens God’s children who are “blameless and pure” to shining stars in the sky. Jesus used light as a picture of good works: “Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds” (Matthew 5:16). Psalm 76:4 says of God, “You are radiant with light.”

The fact that God is light sets up a natural contrast with darkness. If light is a metaphor for righteousness and goodness, then darkness signifies evil and sin. First John 1:6 says that “if we claim to have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth.” Verse 5 says, “God is light; in Him there is no darkness at all.” Note that we are not told that God is a light but that He is light. Light is part of His essence, as is love (1 John 4:8). The message is that God is completely, unreservedly, absolutely holy, with no admixture of sin, no taint of iniquity, and no hint of injustice. Amen!!!

Separation of light from the darkness—and the first indication that the planet is rotating (day and night cycle produced) to do this is when our Earth rotated.

Day Two (The days spoken about are not days, but periods in and of time as we understand it. We see from Museums that Dinosaurs existed. Were they here with Man? I leave that for you to consider.)

Formation of Earth’s atmosphere, separating the water into two parts:
(a) oceanic and subterranean water;
(b) atmospheric water.

Day Three
Dry land and oceans.

System to water the entire land surface using subterranean waters (involving springs or mist, or both).

Vegetation, seed-bearing plants, trees that bear fruit.

Garden of Eden (this is a probability) but more so, The Garden was created separately for in it were The Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil and the Tree of Life. As shared, if Adam and/or Eve had not partaken of the forbidden fruit, they would still be among us. God sent them forth for good reason. We are here to learn to Love and trust. Rather than say “I love you.” I 1 Corinthians 13 you is more appropriate for it defines just what Love is. Mind you all The Commandments are tied in with this primary command. Love The LORD your God, Love your neighbor as yourself. Life in God’s will is tied in Love, Amen

Day Four
Sun

Moon—complete with established orbit so as to mark passage of time (months, seasons, and years).

Stars and other planets.
Earth was a good distance from the sun, and the rest of God’s beauty was set in place.

Day Five

Water creatures of all kinds. (All that had “the breath of life” were vegetarian.)

Birds (all vegetarian).

Day Six

Land animals (all vegetarian, this is stated for the first animal to be killed on the creation of Man was the animal whose hide was used as a cover for their barrenness):
(a) creatures that move close to the ground (small animals);
(b) large animals; and
(c) animals of use to man as livestock.

First man, Adam.

First woman, Eve (formed from Adam).
And thus we have creation, amazing awesomeness. IF God can do this, HIS capabilities cannot be imagined.” However, as it is written:

“What no eye has seen,

what no ear has heard,

and what no human mind has conceived the things God has prepared for those who Love Him—
1 Corinthians 2:9

I almost do not wish to say this, but in signing off to pick up where we leave off, if The LORD carries, even if not yet remain blessed. For, “In just a little while, He who is coming will come and will not delay.”

And, “But my righteous will live by faith.
And I take no pleasure in the one who shrinks back.
But we do not belong to those who shrink back and are destroyed, but to those who have faith and are saved.”
Hebrews 10:37-39
