“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.”
2 Timothy 3:16-17
“Born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by The Word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever. For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away: But the Word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the Word which by the Gospel is preached unto you…”
1 Peter 1:23-25
Though Satan should buffet, though trials should come,

That Christ has regarded my helpless estate
And has shed His own blood for my soul. —

We may at times wonder where scripture is from. To break it down, being led to share is a key fact. We may read the story of Job, is he not in remembrance through the ages? What he possessed was it not for The LORD had erected a ‘fence’ around him and the works of his hands? The LORD knowing ALL lifted His hand from Job and allowed all to be taken.
We might wonder, what became of his wife? I know I have often thought on this for his friends came and mourned with him and say with him. There was no mention of his wife. However, we stand corrected in The same scripture that we read which says: “The secret things belong unto the LORD our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law.”
Deuteronomy 29:29
There is no mention of what became of her; in reading we see that she said “Curse God and die…” but Job did not. In the same bible it says “flesh of my flesh and bone of my bone…”
First Adam and his bride (there is a reason I stare this) The Lord God (Covenant keeping, personal God) caused a deep sleep to fall on the first Adam.
A. As he slept the Lord God pierced his side and removed his bride.
B. While he slept the Lord fashioned the bride – or built her.
C. When he awoke, The Lord God presented the bride to Adam.
1. When Adam saw her, he said: “This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.” Genesis 2:23
2. Adam said NOW she is the same substance as me and he cleaved to her.
The Last Adam – Jesus – and His Bride The Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall on the last Adam’s – Jesus’ body.
It was the sleep of death.
1. As He slept the sleep of physical death on the cross his side was pierced and blood and water came out.
1. His life and His word.
2. He was wounded that the bride might be formed.
a. His life and His Word create the bride.
b. Now, here on Earth the bride is being fashioned to one day be presented to Jesus.
2. He remained in the tomb 3 nights arising on the 3rd day. The bride has been being made/created for the last 2,000+ years while the bridegroom is out of sight. On the ‘3rd day’ His Bride will be presented to Him without spot or wrinkle, Amen.
A. When the work is complete we will be presented to our bridegroom and He will proclaim: “NOW my bride is flesh of my flesh and bone of my bone! NOW, she is once again the same substance as Me.”
A lot to meditate on. Read and meditate on The Word, that is what it is there for!
LORD Heavenly Father, Your Word is The remembrance of things past and things to come for it says in Your Word: “What has happened before will happen again. What has been done before will be done again. There is nothing new in the whole world.
“Look,” they say, “here is something new!” But no, it has all happened before, long before we were born.
No one remembers what has happened in the past, and no one in days to come will remember what happens between now and then.” Ecclesiastes 1:9-11
We are Your handiwork, guide us, use us, bless us. In my life, Your will be done. I pray in Jesus’ name, Amen
