We just need to decree and it is established, we may not see it, but it is! We are a “feel and know, touch and believe” nation! Close your eyes and feel the world around you with nothing but your eyes! Closed yes, but what have you seen with them open?
I will get ‘deep’ here for a second.
There are spiritual forces around us constantly. Even in The Bible it says “The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them.” Psalm 34:7
Hold up! Someone who was not schooled in the spiritual had his eyes opened:
“And Elisha prayed, “Open his eyes, Lord, so that he may see.” Then the Lord opened the servant’s eyes, and he looked and saw the hills full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.
As the enemy came down toward him, Elisha prayed to the Lord, “Strike this army with blindness.”So he struck them with blindness, as Elisha had asked.
Elisha told them, “This is not the road and this is not the city. Follow me, and I will lead you to the man you are looking for.” And he led them to Samaria.
After they entered the city, Elisha said, “Lord, open the eyes of these men so they can see.” Then the Lord opened their eyes and they looked, and there they were, inside Samaria.“
2 Kings 6:17-20

We have eyes beyond the “optical”! Yes, we shared about fasting, but we shared to take it easy. There are many examples in The Word of fasting…
*Jesus– began his earthly ministry after fasting for 40 days
*Moses– after a 40 day fast received the 10 commandments
*Daniel– after a 21 day fast God blessed Daniel with wisdom beyond that of anyone else in the empire
*Esther– Haman called for the annihilation of all Jews. Esther called for a 3 day fast for all the Jews in her city. The result- the Jews were spared and Haman was hanged on the gallows he built.
*Hannah– could not bear a child. She “wept and did not eat”. God heard her plea and the prophet Samuel was born.
*Ezra– declared a holy fast for children
*Paul– God called him and shared the assignment for his life during a fast- Acts 9:7-9
*Peter– was fasting on a rooftop when God gave him a new revelation and called him to take the gospel to the Gentiles- Acts 10
*Jehoshaphat– needed to know the Lord’s plan to defeat an Army. Through a fast God’s plan was revealed and the Army was defeated.
*Elijah– the word Elijah received during his fast affected even the next generation
*Joseph– fasted in prison. When released he became fabulously wealthy and was put over all the money of Egypt. (Gen. 41:39-45)
*Solomon– humbled himself in fasting and prayer and God greatly increased his wealth and wisdom (Kings 3:10-13).
We need not set out on a significant fast to beat any challenge, simply do as led, Amen.
I will point out a few examples:
Daniel in his 21 day fast still took in food, but he did without certain items ““At that time I, Daniel, mourned for three weeks. I ate no choice food; no meat or wine touched my lips; and I used no lotions at all until the three weeks were over.” Daniel 10:2-3.
Our cups will be full to spill over, Amen
With what runs out of our full cups we shall and will bless others.
We store up where there is naught to affect our plenty, Amen
Treasures in Heaven
“Do not store up for yourselves treasures on Earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in Heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”
Matthew 6:19-21
We learn here that there is far more than physical ‘comfort’ have you ever put something away for The LORD?

Our words mean so much..
“A gentle answer turns away wrath, but hard words stir up anger.” Proverbs 15: 1
“Gentle wordsbring life and health; a deceitful tongue crushes the spirit.”
Proverbs 15:4
Proverbs 11:9 “Evil words destroy one’s friends; wise discernment rescues the godly.”

Proverbs 11:12 “It is foolish to belittle a neighbor; a person with good sense remains silent.”

Proverbs 11:17 “Your own soul is nourished when you are kind, but you destroy yourself when you are cruel.”

Proverbs 15: 1 “A gentle answer turns away wrath, but hard words stir up anger.”

Proverbs 15:4 “Gentle words bring life and health; a deceitful tongue crushes the spirit.”

Proverbs 16:24 “Kind words are like honey–sweet to the soul and healthy for the body.”

We can keep going, but I wanted to share fact about our tongue. What we say, how it affects us.
Father LORD, we adore you and lay down before the power of Your elegance, You made all. From You came the gift of speech, for in your Kingdom all communicate, and in Your image we are made.
Glory! You are our all, we praise You, we adore You, Father we need you in our lives, Amen. Our each day is Yours, Amen
Your Will be done in my life Father, with my tongue be Thou glorified in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen
In our all be Thou glorified in our now and forever, Amen
Father, renew us, bless us, fill us, Your Will be done in our lives, Amen
