Here is a little shock therapy. Suffering and affliction yields invaluable life lessons, (if you learn the lesson)!!! And that lesson draws you ultimately closer to God and consequently life-everlasting and Glory!!!
Remember the scripture, “spare the rod, and spoil the child?” Well we are His children! The ‘adult’ children of God to whom He must correct from time-to-time to keep us focused on Him and out of harm’s path. For whom the Father Loves He also corrects as He matures you in Christ Jesus.
Should we receive only good and not also the bad? We need not pout or feel put upon when we enter into a season of correction. At the conclusion of your trial your blessing awaits you as you walk closer with and learn to truly trust and depend on God for your all and all.
You see, God uses these periods in our lives to be a testimony, not just for us, but for The Kingdom. You were chosen by God to endure, suffer or walk through a particular situation for His Glory, not your own. Such seasons of lessons are truly blessings. For God chose you based on your spiritual maturity to go through this period of your Christian Journey. Be encouraged. God is not through with you yet. He is perfecting you for His purpose! Shout hallelujah in the midst and let your praises and prayers be both effectual and continuous and see what my God will do!
This disruption, or shockwave is for your benefit. It takes you from Glory to Glory. Fear not, for in the midst of your trial, He has prepared your way out.
Rejoice! I say rejoice. For you are favored among men. Shout ‘God I am honored that You have picked me to go through this season of teaching. Let my light so shine to reflect Your unfailing Love and faithfulness. I shall sing Your praises in and out of seasons of blessings and periods of lessons. For Your Love and sacrifice has promised me life eternal and victory over all, Amen”
