Christ was tempted and stood on The Word!
Are you soaked in The Word?
By the words of our mouth we recieve, demolish, possess, destroy, own or lose!
“But one in a certain place testified, saying, What is Man, that Thou art mindful of him? or the son of Man, that Thou visitest him?
Thou madest him a little lower than the angels; Thou crownedst him with glory and honour, and didst set him over the works of Thy hands:
Thou hast put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that God put all in subjection under Man, God left nothing that is not put under him.
But now we see not yet all things put under Man.
But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels as we are (for a short while beneath the angel’s in ‘body’/Earthly form.) Are you not aware that we shall be in a place to ‘judge’ angels?
“Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?” 1 Corinthians 6:3 (KJV)
Hebrews 2:5–9 says, “For it was not to angels that God subjected the world to come, of which we are speaking. It has been testified somewhere, ‘What is man, that you are mindful of him, or the son of man, that you care for him? You made him for a little while lower than the angels; you have crowned him with glory and honor, putting everything in subjection under his feet.’ Now in putting everything in subjection to him, he left nothing outside his control. At present, we do not yet see everything in subjection to him. But we see him who for a little while was made lower than the angels, namely Jesus, crowned with glory and honor because of the suffering of death, so that by the grace of God he might taste death for everyone.”
These Psalms and Hebrews verses refer to Jesus as incarnate, as man. Jesus, existent since before creation, came to Earth as a man, lower than the heavenly beings for a time.
Philippians 2:7 says that Jesus “emptied Himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men.”
Paul goes on to summarize Jesus’s mission and eventual place in Heaven, above all.
“And being found in human form, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. Therefore God has highly exalted Him and bestowed on Jesus The name that is above every name, so that at The name of Jesus every knee should bow, in Heaven and on Earth and under the Earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to The glory of God the Father” Philippians 2:8–11.
Jesus being made a little lower than the angels and taking on a physical body does not diminish His divinity.
He is fully God, yet chose to humbly take on human flesh so that He could make a way of salvation for us (Luke 19:10; John 3:16–18; 14:6). Jesus is now in Heaven interceding for those who believe in Him (Romans 8:34) as He prepares a place for those who believe (John 14:1–3).
for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that He by The grace of God should taste death for every man.
For it became Him, for Whom are all things, and by Whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings. For both He that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause He is not ashamed to call them brethren,
Loose The Spirit in your life! For The Spirit has been poured out on all Man! Glory!
“Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.” Proverbs 18:21 (KJV)
God tells us in His Word that the tongue has incredible power. We can use our tongue to bring blessings and life or curses and death. The saying “sticks and stones can break my bones but words will never hurt me” is simply not true. Our tongues can be the most difficult thing to control and leave us with great regret if we use our words to hurt. There is hope! The Bible tells us that with the help of the Holy Spirit we can have power and control over our tongue.
We can share endlessly. The tongue bears so much power! Confess/Proclaim/Claim/State and it is, Amen.
I am befuddled once again that of all animals on Earth, the only species that speaks with understanding is Man! Yes, all that has life communicate… I will even point out that in Science, cells ‘work’ together to enhance existence. It is when ‘cells’ do not ‘work together’ as they were created to that things ‘go wrong’!
I could share untold examples; The Bible speaks often of miraculous healing through the work of Jesus Christ and faith in God. Our Lord is able to provide comfort and healing for you and your loved ones.
When you are overwhelmed with health problems, bad news, or relationship struggles, The Word of God can be your source of supernatural help. Don’t give up! God promises greater things in store and God is not Man that He should speak and it not be so. He spoke and The Universe is! The seen from the unseen – a future filled with promise and hope!
Praying Scripture back to God is a wonderful way to focus on His promises and provision. Read, memorize, write and proclaim them! Ever had a ‘cheat sheet’ to review for a test? All formulae and facts that you need for the test? At the time, you may not have been permitted to bring that sheet into the exam hall, but you reviewed it till the last minute!
Cheat sheet of ‘life’? The Word of our Creator.
There are text that we ‘exist’ reading, studying, arguing on. There is one element that defies explanation and has led to a bevy of ‘quarrels’.
But in sticking with what we know is fact, we place our faith in what is known to us. We can delve into the logistics of the above differences. To be brief – The first family of God were the nation of Isrealites, prior to this was the first son of Abraham; to whom it was told in Genesis 17:4
You can pray these Bible Verses out-loud over your life, sickness, and your loved ones. In addition, here is a short prayer for healing that you can use:
Father, help me to keep my focus on you when the pain and hurt is overwhelming. Help me to be faithful and to see the good and blessings that surround me. Please strengthen my mind, heart, and body and heal me today. May The Holy Spirit guide me in peace and comfort today. Amen.
