Pride? What comes before a fall?

Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be yet wiser: teach a just man, and he will increase in learning. The fear of The LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.
For by The power and influence, guiding and protection of The LORD your days shall be multiplied, Amen. And the years of your life shall be increased.
If you are ‘wise’, you shalt be wise for yourself and be given and blessed with knowledge and wisdom, Amen.
But as you walk in ‘self-pride’ scorning the ‘less fortunate’ you alone shall face the consequences; for pride cometh before a fall.

Proverbs 9:9-12

“The LORD Almighty has a day in store for all the proud and lofty, for all that is exalted (and they will be humbled).”
Isaiah 2:12

“The LORD Almighty planned it, to bring down her pride in all her splendor and to humble all who are renowned on the Earth.”
Isaiah 23:9

“But God gives us more grace. That is why Scripture says: “God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble.”
James 4:6

“Humble yourselves before The Lord, and God will lift you up.”
James 4:10

We all struggle with pride in life! Sadly, many of us do not realize the potential that waits for us if we just let go of our pride and move forward in God’s plan. In fact, the Bible goes so far as to warn us that God hates the sin of pride and will discipline the proud! Let us not see ourselves as “wise in our own eyes” but let us become humble and willing to learn from God and others! Memorize these Bible verses about pride to help you focus on being like Jesus Christ, our ultimate example of selflessness who gave Himself on the cross for us!
