ALL-ways, Amen.

For The LORD your God is He that goeth with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you. Deuteronomy 20:4.

Beloved I pray for you, The Lord your God will go with you, He will fight for you against your enemies, He will save you in Jesus Name.

And we pray:
Father fight for us against our common enemy, coronavirus and save us in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Sometimes life is hard. Where do you turn when the storms of life begin to rage around you? The good news is there is help and hope in life toughest seasons. The Bible is full of verses for when life is hard and stormy. You can have peace in the midsts of crisis and stress.

I provide content that reminds you how loved you are and how valuable you are to the Father. I provide encouragement to chase your dreams and to believe God for big and bold things. I want you to be so overwhelmed with God’s goodness and kindness towards you that you can’t help but overflow on those around you.

But I also want you prepared and equipped for when life gets tough because life will get tough. Stormy seasons of life are inevitable. Jesus even warned us in John 16:33 that trouble will find us in this life.

He didn’t leave it there though. That warning is actually sandwiched between promises that He has already overcome and that He is with us.

Today we are going to look at some awesome verses for surviving the storms we find ourselves in. These are my favorite kind of posts to write because I just get to pack them full of scripture.

These verses are really powerful and I suggest that you write them down or save this post somewhere easy to find and when life gets challenging come back and really grab hold of these scriptures and the Truth they contain. Meditate on these and rest in the truth that we are never alone.

Here we go! What the Bible has to say about tough times and verses for weathering life’s storms.

All of the verses below are in English Standard Version, which is a translation familiar to most, but I also include most verses in The Passion Translation, which is a favorite of Mike and me.

This translation is so poetic and helps bring the message to life. We think you’ll find encouragement in having both.

John 16:33

I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world, you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world. John 16:33 ESV

And everything I’ve taught you is so that the peace which is in me will be in you and will give you great confidence as you rest in me. For in this unbelieving world you will experience trouble and sorrows, but you must be courageous, for I have conquered the world!” John 16:33 TPT

Peace. When stormy seasons come, the one thing we all long for is connection and peace.

We need to know that we are not alone, and we need to find some peace amid our trials to rest in while we wait for the circumstances to blow over.

This verse promises us both of those things.

This verse is one worth clinging to because it is a reminder that Jesus went out of His way to not only pay our sin debt and make way for us to live eternally with Him in Heaven BUT also to make sure we were prepared for the things that would come against us in this life
