Isaiah foretold of a day when peace would reign supreme over all the earth, a time when the knowledge of God would be spread over all the nations. Violence would cease. Death and pain would be no more. It was the same time foreseen by Daniel and John in Revelation, the time of God’s Kingdom reigning over all the earth.
And we pray:
Lord, true knowledge of You is rare in this present world. Though many have heard about You, they do not know You, nor know of Your true nature. But the day will come when all men on earth will know You. The day hastens forth that all sickness, pain, death, sorrow, and misery will cease. We long for Your everlasting Kingdom to come to earth, but we patiently endure the trials of this present age. We know our momentary tribulation will receive an everlasting reward.
