Ahayah is a mistransliteration of ehyeh, from God’s explanation of His name to Moses in Exodus 3:14: אהיה אשר אהיה –– ehyeh asher eyheh, which is traditionally translated in English as I am that I am, but literally means I shall be what I shall be, and what He was really saying was What I am is irrelevant.
