We recognize the beauty of holiness; the cause for trials – precious metals are smelted in the heat.
What in our culture is valued high grade material is tested and tried. As a child of God; God allows us to be tested and provides a way out.
We are tested and tried to grow strong in the spirit.
“What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.” When it comes to a test of faith, this quote rings true. Challenges can be met with excitement or anxiety. Life can always be viewed as a gift, although it can be very difficult to think of it like this when times are tough. With practice, devotion, and faith, it gets easier with each challenge overcome.
And we pray:
O Heavenly Father, give me the strength and resolve to face life’s difficulties with a faithful heart. I ask that You strengthen my devotion to You with each hurdle that I pass, knowing that it was You that helped me over. When the path seems too challenging to continue, help remind me that the righteous path is one that leads to Heaven. For Your glory, I ask these things in Your holy name. Amen.
