We should live constantly in thanksgiving to God, Amen.

Ephesians 5:20 – Give thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

In this text the Apostle Paul is explaining the will of God to the people of God.

We are reminded in this same passage of scripture in vs#17- do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is.

The will of God for His people is a “thankful” heart. God continually showers us with His benefits of life, good health, strength, bread for another day, work to pay the bills, His love, His everlasting presence, His assurance in all things concerning us and on and on with one blessing after another He gives us that we do not deserve.

Thank God that He did not let that sickness kill you, thank Him that you did not die in that car wreck, thank Him for that job you have and the food in your pantry, thank him for the finances He has allows you to make in giving you the health and strength needed to be able to work to make money, thank Him for loving us who are not deserving of His love or anything else from Him.

Because of who God is and what He has done and continues to do on our behalf, it is the will of God for us that we give thanks to Him when life is good and when life is not so good according to us.

We are to thank God for everything because even when life seems to be going opposite of what we expect it still is not as bad as it could be. Some people are worse off than you so learn to give thanks regardless of your circumstances.

We show our gratitude to God by meditating on what we know to be true in the Word of God through the lense of scripture and not on the thoughts of the enemy of our minds that are contrary to God’s Word.

People of God, regardless of what we go through in this life God promises to be with us so tell the Lord thank you in the name of Jesus!

As people of God who are filled with His Holy Spirit, gratitude should be our attitude in all things.

Giving thanks always for all things to God in the name of Jesus is not an option but a command.

Being thankful is the response of gratitude to God’s saving grace on behalf of humanity through Christ Jesus who redeemed and reconciled us back to God through His shed blood on the cross.

Gratitude is not only lip service, but service in action. When we are truly grateful to God for all He has done it should guide our hearts into action of service to others.

As we look over our lives and see how God has kept us from dangers seen and unseen we should shower Him with gratitude daily.

Yes, we should daily thank God for what the enemy meant for evil against us did not happen because God blocked it.

A heart of gratitude leaves no room for complaining because it is impossible to truly be thankful and filled with negativity and ungratefulness at the same time.

Today, let us begin each day with the fruit of thanksgiving from a grateful heart to God our Father in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who is our Redeemer and mediator to The Father on our behalf.

Thank You Lord for ALL you have done and continues to do for your people.

With a grateful heart, with a song of praise, with an outstretched arm, we will bless Your name Lord.

We your people just want to say “Thank You Lord and tell You we Love you and appreciate You for Who You are Jehovah!

THANK YOU LORD!
