Be still and give thanks, Amen.

“Be still’ means to stop striving, stop fighting, relax. It also means to “put your hands down”. Sometimes we put our hands up to defend ourselves from all that life can bring our way.

Consider how long ago this was written. Now consider the impact that Christianity has had on this planet. This Psalms was written long before the birth of Christ. Consider how powerful a message this prophecy conveys.

And we pray:

Holy Lord, God of power and might, Heaven and Earth are full of Your glory. Your name shall forever be exalted, and I pray that I can spend all of my days rejoicing in Your glory. Hosanna in the highest! Blessed are all that come in the name of The Lord. Amen.
